Michaela was the perfect officiant for our beach style wedding. She was very professional and also had a way about her that was very calming as she knew we were nervous and anxious. She opened with a beautiful conch shell blowing and blessings upon our marriage. We didn't need a rehearsal, but she coordinated it all with grace and perfection with the person in charge of queuing the music for the ceremony. We highly recommend Michaela Larson for any weddings in Hawaii.
Michaela was amazing! One of the best experiences of our entire lives. She made us feel comfortable and brought so much love to our ceremony. She also accommodated our religion and put in the extra effort to honor it for us. We appreciate her so much. Overall, we had a great experience with Aloha beach weddings from the planning to the photography. Thank you all!
Michaela was amazing- we did a beach wedding with only a handful in attendance. She had a great sermon and everything went smoothly. She was so mindful about the details- to name a few, stepping aside for the kiss, letting us say our vows between just the two of us, letting us put our phones near her so we could pick up sound for our video, and being aware of our limited time with the photographer to make sure we had time after for photos. Since we weren’t from the area, I had asked a good recommendation for a beach, and she was thoughtful of my older parents and how they felt walking before recommending our perfect spot.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience.
Michaela Larson was an absolutely incredible officiant for our wedding. We had planned a small, intimate ceremony with just our three children, but on the day of, we decided to have a full ceremony instead. Michaela was so easygoing and welcoming, and she handled the last-minute change with grace and professionalism.

From the several "to do's" inevitably involved in planning a wedding, the groom was in charge of finding the officiant. After conducting extensive online research and the first few exploratory e-mails, it was clear that Michaela was the person we would choose to stand with us.
Michaela graciously led us through a traditional Hawaiian union ceremony with several beautiful and meaningful elements that helped build a container for the next stage of our relationship. She effortlessly balanced bringing a sense of the sacred with her natural sense of humor. It felt like a friend was marrying us.
Over the years, we have attended several weddings. We may be biased, but we believe this was the most beautiful commitment ceremony we have witnessed.
My spouse and I decided to get married in Hawai'i instead of Germany and local friends referred us to Michaela because they had been so happy with her officiating their wedding - as were we. We wanted a truly small wedding (just the two of us no large group of guests) and Michaela provided the most lovely, intimate ceremony, touching on so many aspects that are important to us and that are deeply rooted in Hawai'is culture. She is a ray of sunshine and clearly embraces life and love - we were incredibly happy and will cherish the memory of our wedding day, which she made so special. Mahalo nui loa!
Michaela made our wedding absolutely perfect! Such a sincere and genuine person with a big heart and amazing personality. She was prompt to respond to my initial text message about short notice of a wedding and educated us about obtaining our marriage license and who to contact for DOH appointments. Very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions without hesitation.
She had many packages to offer at different prices on her website and was able to help us choose the right one. The beach and the sunset made a beautiful backdrop for our wedding elopement. Such an incredible vow exchange and we all shared some good laughs. She even let us record it on our phone and took photos of us after the ceremony. Her sense of humor and kind presence put us at ease and she helped guide us along the way; very easy to talk to. I definitely recommend her, especially if you’re looking for something romantic, quick, hassle-free, zero stress, and affordable.

Michaela Larson is absolutely the best officiant on the Big Island when you want a spiritual ceremony with Hawaiian elements. Asking permission of the ʻāina was very important to us as part of our ceremony and all of the other elements were just over the top perfect. Michaela is so professional, personable, sweet, any funny. Our guests could not stop talking about our ceremony, they absolutely loved it and so did we!

Honestly, we couldn't have had a better officiant. Michaela is a very special woman - she has a great energy and is just amazing. The ceremony she conducted was incredibly heartfelt and touching. I love all the Hawaiian aspects in her ceremony - from the conch shell to the chanting to our lei exchange - we were in awe.
