All I wanted for my reception was a giant dance party, we weren't sure it could happen with Covid, but thanks to a giant dance floor (masks) and the best timed music, we had the most epic dance party. Also, my father referenced a specific movie/song in his speech and Heather managed to fade into that song at the end of his speech. Her attention to detail is unparalleled and she is super supportive throughout the entire planning process. Heather is the absolute best in the business and we highly recommend her! Special shoutout to Randy who managed the wedding party entrance with ease even though it was like herding cats and the countless other things he was doing in the background to help everything move along!

Somehow, Heather struck the perfect balance and everyone had the best time. The price for what we got was a total bargain. Heather was happy to play a few songs we specially requested, but in general we were glad we just trusted her on the playlist- she is a pro and has great taste! If Heather is somehow available on your wedding day, I can't recommend her enough!

She helped us plan out the timeline for our entire evening and helped to make sure the entire evening ran smoothly. The dance floor was packed the entire time and the floor was shaking people were dancing so hard. Countless people said how awesome our DJ was and we we couldn't agree more. Not only did I fall in love with Heather, I loved her partner-Randy- as well. They were 100% on it, kept right to the timeline and never made any of those "cheesy" DJ announcements. Basically, book this girl and don't look back. Chatting with her was like hanging out with a friend, and I always looked forward to meeting with her. She oozes positivity and fun, and keeps the night going with jam after jam. She was one the first few decisions we made for the wedding, and we couldn't have picked a better DJ.

I know you can't always make everyone's requests happen, but many of them were met with downright no's, so just be aware of that! She'll make your night incredible in her way!

sic at our wedding reception would reflect our personalities. I have been to many weddings where the DJ is so corny and plays terrible wedding songs that make me cringe. HAY DJ listened to our likes and dislikes and our dinner and cocktail hour music was perfect. A true reflection of our music tastes. When it came time for the dance party, Heather with HAY DJ nailed it again. She knows how to feel out the crowd and get everyone out of their seats and on to the dance floor. She is so professional and a pleasure to work with.

lked to her, I was sold! My husband is VERY into music and VERY opinionated and VERY picky. So I was nervous about the DJ thing. At first he wanted someone that would just play a playlist that he selected...and since his music preferences are pretty unique, I reminded him that those type of DJs probably wouldn't fit his style, or have the music that he wanted. I just had a feeling that Heather was the perfect fit, so we met with her in person. She went above and beyond...giving us some mix CDs to give us an idea of the set-list she had in mind, given our music preferences. And the hubs is STILL listening to those CDs today. He recognized that she was able to incorporate his taste in music to her unique style and her knowledge of what gets the party going and keeps it going! Heather was so professional and warm during the months leading up to the wedding, amy time I had questions for her. And she executed flawlessly! The ceremony and reception music were incredible and I'm still getting compliments from guests. She commanded the crowd (in a great way), and kept the party going strong for HOURS. Not to mention that people from 13 to 75 were on the dance floor from beginning to end. That's not an easy feat! Heather fills a niche in the Louisville music and DJ scene that no one else comes close to. She absolutely MADE my wedding day!
