I would highly recommend Haydon Photography to anyone. My husband and I absolutely loved our engagement photos and cannot wait to see all of the wedding photos captured on our big day. The Haydon's are more than photographers; they helped immensely keeping everything calm and on schedule on our wedding day. I could not have chosen better photographers. They are professional but make you feel at ease and natural in photos. We are so lucky to have found them!

Finding the right people to be part of your wedding is hard. But we were fortunate to meet and hire Joe Anna Haydon early on in the wedding planning process. From the moment I met Joe Anna, I knew we would get along fantastically. She is sweet, accommodating, full of positivity and good ideas, very trustworthy, talented, and made me feel so comfortable at every moment. We had her take the engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and full wedding day photos. [Researching brides: I highly recommend this! Having her do everything for you will help establish a good working relationship and make you feel like family, come wedding day.] Spending time with Joe Anna and Gary is so fun, you won't even realize there's a camera after a while. They will make you laugh and create special memories while taking your pictures. Because we had spent so much time with them, once wedding day came and Joe Anna arrived, I was like... now everything will go just wonderfully- we can relax. And it did! [Even though we had an August wedding with pictures outside in the mid afternoon.] I loved the way they tended to every detail and all the extra little features they offer like photo/business cards to your guests, so they'll know where to find/order wedding pictures as well as the blog previews. Very special photographer!! Highly, highly recommend!

We are so pleased with the experience and the pictures from Haydon Photography! The engagement pictures captured the essence of the bride and groom. They were fun and definitely showcased Austin. Joe Anna was able to get beautiful portraits of my daughter in both her dress and the family heirloom wedding dress. We were able to display three generations and five brides in my mother's wedding dress at the reception. The wedding pictures definitely bring out the solemnity of the ceremony, all of the love at the event and all the fun! The pictures captured not only the bride and groom but everyone from the oldest to the youngest in wonderful candid and staged pictures. We are so happy to have such an incredible photographic documentation of the entire happy time from the engagement through the reception. I cannot say enough great things about Haydon photography.

We LOVED the Haydons. They were hands down our favorite vendor to work with for our wedding. They are very professional, friendly, communicative and their work is exceptional! Our friends and family still have not stopped raving about our photos and the wedding was over a year ago. I highly recommend them- wedding photography is not something you want to skimp on because all the other details (cake, flowers, favors, etc) only last the day, but the photos last a lifetime.

Joe Anna and Gary were so easy to work with, especially while we were trying to pick out locations that fit the two of us, and kept us both so happy and at ease that they were able to get some amazing photos of us. The hard part is picking our favorites out of all of the beautiful work that they did. I plan on using them again the next time we have a big event in our lives and would recommend them to anyone!

Gary and Joe Anna make a wonderful team. I found them very friendly, accomodating, understanding, responsible and communicative from the first time meeting them. Joe Anna responds quickly to text and email, and she was available for the detailed requests and questions, which as a bride is very important. The price was reasonable compared to some of the other well-reviewed photographers out there. You can do a payment plan which worked well for me. The images they capture are very natural, which was apparent when we took engagement photos. Some photographers are too pushy with the session and then they get overzealous in Photoshop to the point where the pictures are a far cry from the sentiment of the the original scene and moment. If you like highly edited images, you would probably need to communicate that style upfront with them. From my experience, if you tell them what you want and share your vision, they deliver it just how you ordered it with beautiful photos you will look at over and over. On our wedding day, they put me, my groom, and the wedding party at ease. One thing I would have done differently was to discuss specifically all of the pictures I wanted beforehand. I assumed they would get everything I wanted without communicating that. I had too much on my mind the day of to think in the moment. I didn't end up with a picture of me and my house party girls, who helped decorate and pass out programs, and I didn't get any pictures with my bridesmaids one on one. But they got tons of amazing dancing pictures at the reception that really show how much fun we had! Joe Anna and Gary are a wonderful service to the Austin area and I'm happy to have discovered them. I wish them well with all future clients and endeavors. Book them and you'll be taken care of!

We booked Joe Anna to take our engagement photos after finding her online because we weren't able to make our schedule work with the wedding photographer we had already chosen (we are from out of town). She did an amazing job! She was 7 months pregnant at the time but was a total trooper, climbing around on rocks at Zilker to capture the perfect image. I would highly recommend Joe Anna to any bride looking for a great, sweet photographer!

Joe Anna and Gary Haydon were true professionals in their skill of photography. The locations they recommended were stunning, the angles and shots were breathtaking, and the quality of the photographs were incredible. The were an incredibly reasonable cost compared to the other photographers. It was a pleasure working with Haydon Photography, and plan on working with them again for our family portraits with the birth of our new son.

Joe Anna & Gary are simply wonderful! We looked through photographers both in Austin and where we had our wedding outside of San Antonio. We met with Joe Anna & Gary before making our final decision. In fact, she was the only one who actually wanted to speak with me - a big plus and certainly proved how personable she was right from the start. She was always easy to get a hold of and replied to emails and silly questions that we brides sometimes have. (thank you!) Both the engagement session and bridal session were perfect & the pictures turned out absolutely stunning. I don't know how many people told us the pictures looked like they belonged in a magazine... that is Joe Anna & Gary. The wedding day pictures, from what I've seen so far (we were just married a week and a half ago), have been beyond my greatest hopes. We had some sample pictures within days and were on the blog within a week!! There are not enough ways to say how impressed we have been and how thankful we both are. Choosing Haydon Photography was by far one of the best decisions we made in the whole wedding process. I would certainly recommend them to anyone! Joe Anna and Gary were the first photographers we met when we started planning our wedding and we immediately loved them! They were so fun and easy to talk to. They were the second vendor we booked, after the venue of course! They met us in Gruene for our engagement photos in May and we had so much fun running around town with them. They really put us at ease and our photos turned out great. We love, love, love the Haydons! The best thing you could do have these two around on the happiest day of your life!

I cannot describe how grateful I am to Joe Anna. Not only did I contact her days prior to my impromptu destination wedding, Joe Anna was so sweet and professional throughout the entire process, and she exceeded all my expectations of what a great photographer should be. Joe Anna was absolutely fantastic! She managed to capture gorgeous pictures while somehow managing to stay in the background. She was never in the way, she worked deftly in the background, allowing my guests to interact naturally, never feeling like they were being watched or posing. The photographs that resulted were very natural and bring me joy looking back on! She managed to give me 360 images even though my wedding was barely lasted 3 hours. I 100% recommend her, especially if you are having your wedding at Chapel Dulcinea!

Haydon Photography is amazing. We hired Joe Anne and Gary for our wedding. The package we picked included engagement pictures and bridal pictures also. All the pictures turned out great!! When we receive the wedding pictures I couldn't have been more pleased. They captured everything during the day and during the wedding and even had pictures of things I wouldn't have even thought of. Not only did our pictures turn out amazing but working with Joe Anne and Gary was so much fun. They are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They are very proffessional and they do everything they can to make things easier for you. Joe Anna shot our engagement photos on a moment's notice. We really needed our session within a week, and she was one of the only photographers in Austin who answered the phone and was willing to help us out! We actually ended up shooting on Valentine's Day, in more than five locations around the city. We got a great deal, with about 3 hours of shoot time and over a 100 edited and finished photos on our disc! Joe Anna even re-edited one shot that we are using on our save-the-dates months later (it was in black and white, she gave us three color options on request). She really went out of her way to please us, and the end product is so beautiful, and we've had so many compliments already. I HIGHLY recommend Haydon Photography for any professional photography needs.

I am so glad we found Haydon Photography! Joe Anna & Gary are not only extremely helpful but very professional. We got married in April, during what most vendors call, "wedding season." Though April is a busy month, Gary & Joe Anna were quick to respond to any questions we had. They will do what they can to get back to you & give you the answers you need asap. They also mail & email a digital copy of all your signed paperwork & payments, which in the end is extremely helpful. They are young, fresh & full of ideas. They are intuitive & are not afraid to give suggestions. They share a true passion for what they do & always know what is best & it most definitely reflects in their work. Their photography is clear, creative & of spectacular quality. I got amazing reviews from family after our first round of photos 2weeks after the wedding, as promised. Family shared how amazing & friendly our photographers were. Gary & Joe Anna are very sweet & fit right in with family. They are honest & will not let you down. And best of all, they are fabulous friends! Love, love them:) Of all the vendors we chose for our wedding day, Gary & Joe Anna were by far the most professional & responsible!! I first met JoeAnna and Gary at the Austin Bridal Extravaganza back in June 2011. I immediately recognized their talent and loved that they were a husband and wife team. They were absolutely wonderful to work with - I have never felt so comfortable in front of a camera. JoeAnna and Gary did our engagement, my bridal and our wedding photos. All of the photos are more beautiful than I could ever imagine. They captured so many precious moments and I am so thankful for finding them. We will continue to use them for future life moments.

My husband and I could not be any happier with our choice to have Haydon Photography capture our special day. The only word I can use to sum up Haydon Photography is “Amazing”! From the start when I meet Gary at a Bridal Expo I knew I had to check them out for our engagement photos. Leading up to the shoot my fiancé and I meet with Gary and Joe Anna for coffee so we could get to know each other and this make the shoot so much better because we had gotten to know one another better. I talked with Joe Anna at least 25 times over email and phone before the shoot to tell her all of my crazy ideas and she would brainstorm to make my ideas even better. The day of the shoot they made my fiancé and myself feel so comfortable so we could relax and just have fun with each other. Gary is a blessing in disguise because all of you brides out there know that most guys are not fans of going out and getting their pictures taken for four hours, he helps your groom relax and your end result are AMAZING photos!!! They think out of the box and listen to every idea you have and do their best to make sure you get what you are envisioning. I could not have asked for a better photographer, a cuter couple and a better experience! The best thing about Haydon Photography is that Joe Anna loves where her business has grown to and is happy with her small (but AMAZING) business. Joe Anna and Gary were great right from the start. They were extremely easy to work with and very accommadating to my schedule, since I live 5 hours away from them. Not only is their work absolutely amazing, but they are some of the nicest, easy going people you will ever meet. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and will certainly use them for any future photography needs.

They are super awesome and fun!! I had my boudoir pictures taken and they turned out perfect. They made me feel very comfortable! Our wedding photos were incredible! We hardly ever saw them, they never make you feel uncomfortable..almost invisable!! Would refer them to anyone!!

They were so wonderful at our wedding! When they were taking pictures while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready it was very relaxed. I was so happy when we got the CD with all of our pictures on it, there were so many and they were perfect! Exactly what my husband and I had asked for; we did a few family pictures and the rest just capturing the moment type pictures. They also did our engagement pictures, which turned out awesome too! Some of our friends who got married around the same time we did and used other photographers had to wait a long time to get their pictures back, I am so happy we received ours so quickly!
