Hayfield at Murchison Farms is a wedding venue, nestled within a 200 acre working farm in Liberty, North Carolina. Our pastures are filled with Black Angus cows and our fields are laden with hay. Our family has made countless memories on the farm for five generations and it is our wish to share the magical atmosphere of Hayfield and our farm setting with you! Hayfield’s indoor event space includes 6,000 square feet of reception space with an open loft overlooking the dance floor. Outdoors you’ll find two picturesque ceremony sites, a 2,000 square foot terrace, two covered open-air verandas, a built-in bar, a fire pit, and paved on-site parking. Our venue rental packages have been planned with value and convenience in mind without sacrificing luxury or style. We have provided everything from the fun to the functional so you have less stress and more fun at your wedding or event! The Daisy House is named after our Great Grandmother Daisy, whom built and lived in it for many years. The Daisy House includes a hair and makeup room, dressing room, and living room area. It is completed with a full kitchen and two bedrooms for overnight rentals. We would love to host your wedding!

The Hayfield family deserve as much recognition for everything they did for us along the way. Hayfield is a must see in person for anyone looking for a wedding or event venue. I promise you the pictures simply don't do the venue justice. The fire pit was a big hit with our guests as well as the second story of the barn for spectating. We cannot say enough good things about Hayfield and the fantastic experience we had planning a wedding there. We can't wait to come back and relive the memories from our special day again. ut the layout and flow is perfect for a wedding and reception! The ability to have the doors open during the reception, the multiple seating areas both indoor and out, the firepit, multiple bars, etc. lent an easy flow for both music and guests. Despite having 150 guests, it never felt crowded and truly is the prefect place to host an event. We also rented both the Daisy house and Hilltop House for the wedding party; great decision! The detail in the Daisy house for a bridal party to get ready is impressive. The entire staff was incredible to work with from the first tour to post wedding. Not only are they professional, they are attentive and down to earth. This coupled with the venue itself, really lent to a special environment you just do not find everywhere. We would absolutely recommend Hayfield at Murchison Farms.

. They were so accommodating, friendly and all around great people. The property has everything you would want for a chiq-rustic affair and it's brand new so it has all of the outlets, updates and modern touches you need to have a seamless wedding! The good angles and views around the barn are endless. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or experience for our Wedding and Rehersal! We only had 4 months to plan our event and they made it happen, finished the final build touched on the venue a few weeks early and were extremely responsive and flexible. There were so many different options for how we could have the ceremony, and reception due to the spacious layout. We had no worries about potentially having to change ceremony site last minute (which we did the day of due to the lawn still being wet after a few rainy days). We ended up having our ceremony on the uncovered patio and were able to utilize the beautiful barn doors being opened for my bridal entrance. It was seemless and easy to plan with their support and cohesiveness with my wedding planner and vendors.

Wow, what a beautiful venue. We had to switch to our rain plan and hold the ceremony inside - I think it may have been even more beautiful and special than we originally planned on...

the Oak Lawn. The inside ceremony is extremely intimate with amazing acoustics. Our guest surrounded us upstairs and downstairs. We help our rehearsal dinner at Hayfield too. Everyone loved the space to gather and meet old and new friends. The patio and veranda were so spacious, we were able to hold the entire dinner outside - saving the inside as a surprise for the wedding. The sunset was beautiful over the pond The team and the amenities are everything you can ask for in a wedding venue. Helpful staff, lots of outlets, beautiful bathroom, a spacious catering kitchen, and two bar areas that are perfectly designed. THANK YOU HAYFIELD TEAM!
