About this vendor
Nestled in the heart of Hunt Valley, Maryland, Hayfields Country Club offers a timeless feel. The centerpiece of the club is The Mansion, more than 200 years old. Connected to The Mansion is an addition that forms the Hayfields Clubhouse. The main level of this addition includes the Clubhouse Entrance, The Ballroom and the Tankard Lounge and Bar.
Our largest event space is The Ballroom, which can hold up to 168 people. For smaller events, The Ballroom can be separated into The Vista Room and The Fireside Room. We also offer options for more intimate gatherings or meetings in the Mansion Rooms or Mezzanine, located above The Ballroom.
At Hayfields, our staff are experts at hosting events. All catering is provided onsite and coordinated by our private chef and banquets team who will oversee the setup of your event. Although Hayfields Country Club is private, membership is not required to host a private function at the Club.

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Hayfields!
Looked at several venues and none of them felt quite “right” until we found Hayfields. We could immediately tell it wa...
s the right fit - beautiful scenery, outdoor cocktail area, amazing bride/groom suites, and a gorgeous ballroom really cemented the deal. Even better was the pricing - lots of options that were much more affordable than the ambiance would lead you to believe. The food was excellent! Far better than other wedding venues we’ve been to. We really appreciated the opportunity to visit the club months in advance to enjoy a (free!) tasting menu, sampling the dishes to better inform our final selections. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail snacks and main dishes!
Brittany Dietrich (Event Sales & Marketing Manager) is an absolute rockstar and catered to our every preference. She was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, answering questions at all hours and weighing in with really valuable insights to help make our special day even better. It’s clear that she (and Hayfields overall) is exceptionally experienced, and that showed throughout every phase of the planning as well as the day of.
Go check them out if you’re exploring venues - THANK YOU Brittany and the Hayfields staff for memories that will last us a lifetime!!

orking with multiple staff members due to the delays and turnover which caused some communication issues but they were very attentive to our needs and made sure everything went smoothly in the end. Everyone commented how beautiful the wedding was - the views cannot be beat.

te, but our Hayfields wedding ended up being more beautiful than we could have hoped. Brittany (the event manager) was exceedingly attentive and responsive over both email and phone, no matter how busy she was, and met with us several times to help us customize the food, the ceremony and reception setup, and even the drinks – she worked with the bar manager to help us create a signature cocktail with house made lemonade and a flavored simple syrup that was tailored to our tastes exactly (several guests asked us afterwards for the recipe!). The grounds are so beautifully maintained that we did not need any additional decorations for the ceremony, and so many guests commented on how gorgeous the space was. We were so impressed by how friendly and flexible the entire Hayfields team was, and highly recommend Hayfields to anyone looking for a venue space.
We adored our wedding at Hayfields. It was such a beautiful venue. The ladies got ready in the second floor suite in the historic mansion. We had our cocktail hour on the patio and...
guests could play bocce ball. The light-up patio, the reception space...it doesn't matter where you are on the property, it is a great setting for a wedding. We appreciated the team's flexibility to drop-in a few times leading up to the event to take pictures, take measurements for vendors, and meet to ask questions. We also appreciated it's proximity to Hunt Valley shops, I-83, and a handful of hotels for our out-of-town guests to choose from. We absolutely recommend it!
