Rabbi Hayley customized a unique ceremony just for us, which included many Jewish traditions, but with a modern twist! She went above and beyond to explain to us all of the different jewish traditions typically included in a wedding ceremony. She then allowed us to pick which traditions resonated with us and took the time to discuss with us how we wanted to incorporate those into our ceremony. She also, before our wedding, coordinated with a family member of ours who ultimately surprised us with a poem as part of our ceremony. Prior to the main event, Rabbi Hayley led a beautiful ketubah signing ceremony during which my husband and I read our ketubah out loud to each other in the presence of our closest family and friends. Rabbi Hayley had us explain why/how each of us had chosen our witnesses. That ketubah signing ceremony was, unexpectedly, one of our favorite parts of our wedding day. We have only the best things to say about Rabbi Hayley. She is truly one of a kind and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant. You won't regret working with her!

My now-husband and I met Rabbi Hayley when we took her "Intro to Judaism Class" years before we even got engaged, and from the time we met her we couldn't imagine having anyone else officiate our wedding. There was nothing cookie-cutter or perfunctory about our wedding ceremony. Rabbi Hayley worked with us over the course of months to develop a ceremony incorporating rituals that were meaningful to us, including having our close friends come up and recite Hebrew and English versions of the traditional seven blessings. Planning out the wedding ceremony and putting together our ketubah was a collaborative process - Rabbi Hayley guided us through it and we were involved every step of the way. She reviewed multiple drafts of our ketubah text and even made helpful design suggestions. It all came together beautifully and we had multiple people tell us that it was the best or one of the best ceremonies they'd ever attended (we agree!). Rabbi Hayley is simply the best - attentive, creative, fun, and has a deep love and respect for Jewish tradition. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

She also let us do calls instead of writing — nice for someone who doesn’t see themselves as a good writer but has no problem talking about how wonderful their partner is! The best thing Hayley recommended and our favorite part of the ceremony was doing 7 values instead of 7 blessings. We chose our own values and then had family and friends write about them and read at the ceremony. It was such an awesome way to involve people, was super custom of course, broke things up, and we still had a nice short and sweet ceremony overall. I originally wanted my husband and I to do custom vows — but he’s not much of a public speaker. I was so happy with how that part of the ceremony turned out — Hayley sharing parts of what we’d shared with her through our meetings. She was so accommodating and understanding of our blend of Israeli and Puerto Rican cultures and made sure to pay tribute to both during the ceremony. Our 7 blessings were read in both Spanish and Hebrew. She worked with us to write a ceremony program so that non-Jews could understand the meaning behind Jewish wedding rituals. She truly made everyone feel included and comfortable. We got to know her family so well that her son was even our ring bearer! Wedding planning proved very stressful for us with a recent death in the family and with very mixed traditions. Both sets of families loved Hayley. We like traditions but aren't very religious we found a perfect mix in Hayley. My grandma was not able to travel due to health reasons, when Hayley saw how upset I was she suggested we incorporate something special into the ceremony and skype grandma in. We did a prayer over a margarita in her honor to show our love. It was perfect. She was so touched and it made her realize how missed she was.
