About this vendor
Hi, I'm Megan, and I travel the country shooting epic and emotional outdoor weddings. As far as I’m concerned, I have the best job in the world. From intimate mountain top elopements to weddings with 150 of your closest friends and family, I love it all. My couples are often drawn to my photography because of the timeless look and the amazing landscapes. But photography should be as much about the experience as the finished product. It’s about having fun, feeling comfortable, and being adventurous.
I am a full time nomad, and travel the southwest with my husband and our three dogs. We are frequently found in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, and California.

Hiring Megan (and Todd from High Alpine Films) was the best decision we made for our CO elopement. Immediately following our intro call, we knew Megan & Todd were the perfect duo t...
o help us. They were very organized and professional, yet approachable. Throughout the whole process, we felt confident that all the little details would work themselves out. And they did! Our elopement was so special and everything we pictured and more. They made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera and our pictures are incredible. Megan got our photos to us exactly when she promised and we couldn't be more thrilled with how they came out. Lastly, as an LGBTQ+ couple, it was really important to find vendors that respected us and our love.
Megan & Todd made us feel so validated and worthy. Megan and Todd were incredible and I highly recommend them!
Megan (and Todd from High Alpine Films) are exceptional - beyond talented but also the kindest, coolest humans who care so much about their work and the people they work with. We ...
never in our wildest dreams thought we would have such magical, stunning photos that capture our love for each other and our families so perfectly. But before we could even process the day we received the most beautiful sneak peeks from Megan that made us cry happy, joyful tears (we can’t stop looking at them).
We first reached out to Megan years ago and were so excited she was available for our wedding, but (of course like many couples) had to postpone and change a couple of times. Many things have been uncertain, but Megan never lost enthusiasm for us and continually made us confident and excited helping us with ideas for our perfect wedding.
Megan and Todd also made our wedding day so wonderful - not only by capturing the most magical images but also just by being there! They showed up full of energy and made me completely forget how uncomfortable I usually am in front of a camera. Our family and friends kept mentioning how amazing they thought they were as well, always thinking about every detail and taking care of us and everyone.
We enjoyed every second with Megan and Todd and continue to feel so lucky we had the opportunity to meet them and for them to have been part of our wedding. It is difficult to put into words how amazing they are and how thankful we are but the moment you reach out you will see they are truly the best.
I can honestly say that Megan *FAR* exceeded our expectations to make our wedding absolutely perfect!
We went in with only a vague idea of what we were looking for, but she paid cl...
ose attention to our requests and always had a Plan B, C, and D in her back pocket to be seamlessly deployed in case something didn't work out exactly as was expected. Not only did she coordinate our actual ceremony, but she was able to put together a timeline of hiking, a helicopter tour of Zion, some Jeep off-roading, and a campfire complete with s'mores.
I couldn’t even wait to get all of our photos back before leaving a review, that’s how blown away we are. There are no words to express the amount of gratitude we have towards Mega...

Our day was beyond magical and it was thanks to her. Her creativity and ability to visualize the perfect photo is impeccable, the photo quality is amazing, and the passion she has for elopements is clear as day.
We postponed twice and Megan was understanding and communicative through the entire process. She never forgot about us or lost the excitement for our special day. Throughout the entire process she was easily accessible and quick to respond. She not only answered questions, but shared in the excitement of every step of the process, from getting my dress to picking my flowers.
We loved that she met us the day before to get to know each other and go over the next day. On the day of the elopement, after keeping me calm through texts all morning she showed up happy and ready to work, immediately jumping into photographer mode gathering all the details and getting everything organized, and yet at the same time pumping us up for the day to come.
We do not enjoy being photographed, but with Megan it felt natural. It felt like hanging out with a friend, not a 6 hour photoshoot. The whole day was a fun adventure that we never wanted to end. The best part is that she and partner beautifully balanced the number of private moments as a couple and being the best wedding party. When you have no family and friends there all you can hope for is that your photographers can fill that void, and they did exactly that.
Through a full day of adventuring, from location hopping to hiking up and down steep trails, Megan had a smile on her face. Her attitude through the entire experience made it easy to go with the flow, and that’s not something I am good at. The day was a breeze for us, there was no worrying about timing or what came next. She made it clear that it was her job to worry and not ours. There was not a moment of stress the entire day.
Getting sneak peek photos the next morning and being able to continue the high from the day before was invaluable. Having the ability to so quickly share photos with family and friends meant the world to us.
Our biggest piece of advice as a client of Hazel and Lace is to give Megan creative freedom. Trust her gut and go with the flow. It will make for a perfect day and incredible photos.
We had a couple of locations in mind when first starting this process, but Megan suggested one not on our list and we went with it. Holy guacamole, it was better than we imagined. We had a plan of where we were doing first look photos but the night before Megan found a beautiful park and we went with it. Once again, Megan was right. And best of all, Megan proposed we take pictures with fairy lights and while we couldn’t visually imagine what we could do with them, she perfectly placed them to make for an epic photo.
We can’t stop looking at the flawlessly captured photos and reliving the moments we shared as a couple. We can’t wait to receive the rest of them!!!
BOOK HAZEL AND LACE RIGHT NOW! Hazel and Lace made all my dreams come true. My husband and I knew traditional weddings were not for us and we knew we loved Zion National Park. Whe...
n I brought up the idea of having our wedding there a lot of people thought we were crazy. I feel so blessed I stumbled across Hazel and Lace on Instagram and realized my wedding could be exactly what I wanted it to be. When the day came around and it was snowing like crazy Megan reassured us constantly. It turned out so magical. She is so much more than a photographer. You can tell she loves what she does and gives 110% to every single photo. When we added video I was a little hesitant but not after meeting Todd. These two are the coolest people you will ever meet. Seriously can never thank them enough for the day they gave us.
Megan + Todd are the perfect duo.

ate to have a big wedding, we decided to elope.
Our favorite place is Utah but I had no clue about planning an elopement halfway across the U.S. Then I found Megan. Boy am I happy I found Megan.
From the start she was amazing. She answered all our questions and helped plan everything we needed. She created an amazing timeline, scouted the perfect locations, and was extremely flexible when we had to push the elopement an extra day due to bad weather.
Immediately after the wedding, Megan sent us sneak peaks...like immediately after.
One month later (the quickest return time I've seen) we got our full photo gallery. A week or two after that we got our video.
The photos are one thing, but if you're eloping, you need video. I can't imagine our wedding now without it. It really looks like something out of a movie. It's something we'll cherish forever.
Working with Megan + Todd was one of the most fun experiences we could have had. They didn't feel like strangers. They felt like friends.
This is not a drill. You need to hire Hazel & Lace to photograph your elopement, outdoor wedding, or adventure photo session. My wife and I hired Megan to travel out to the middle ...
of Washington State to shoot our hastily thrown together elopement with very short notice, during COVID, and with last minute location changes. Somehow, Megan made it look like we owned the desert. The photos are seriously amazing and we hear all the time how our friends think they are the most beautiful wedding photos they have ever seen. I AGREE. Megan is flexible, very helpful in planning, and a true professional. She even trekked through the desert in blazing heat to some hidden sand dunes with us. Our flowers were wilted but you would never know it from the photos. With Hazel & Lace you are guaranteed beautiful pictures and a new friend! THANK YOU MEGAN!

ber one. After finding Megan's portfolio and the Hazel & Lace website it was just what we were after - real looking couples highlighting the amazing backdrop on their special love filled day.
If you are in need of a wedding photographer then stop thinking about it, look no further, and work with Megan! Seriously, Megan will take care of you with consistent communication, scope out the perfect sites, and capture all of the special moments without you feeling like you spent your wedding day posing in front of the camera. The best advice I can give is hire a vendor who is good at what they do and Megan with Hazel & Lace is just that. She will take care of you and you will end up with amazing, natural, and breath taking pictures that capture all of the joy, love, and laughter from your wedding day.
From looking at Megan's Instagram and website, it is easy to fall in love with her work, and after reaching out to her and chatting with her about her work, she was easily, hands d...
own the absolute best choice. From the beginning she has been great with her recommendations on photography locations, which was amazing. Megan was also incredibly flexible with us on our wedding day - doing our church ceremony in Castle Rock and adventure pics up in Boulder. On top of Megan's wonderful and clear talent, she is extremely professional, and has been such a joy to work with. For both our engagement and wedding photos she got us our photos in under the promised turnaround time (UNDER A MONTH!!), which is wonderful and thoughtful of her, so that we are able to quickly share our special day with our friends and family who, due to COVID, were not able to make it. I could go on and on about Megan and how wonderful she is - if you are even slightly considering booking her - just do it already. You absolutely will not regret it!
If you’re looking for a photographer, look no further!!!!! There truly aren’t enough good things to say about Megan! I mean seriously. She went above and beyond for us in so many w...
ays. First of all, the AMAZING pictures. Holy cow. I’m so in shock and so in love. Our sneak peeks were sent within 24 hours of the wedding and our full gallery was delivered in THREE WEEKS. When our videographer cancelled three hours before our ceremony, she told me not to worry, she would take care of it, and boy was she ON IT. She found us another videographer and had all the details worked out within the hour. She was professional, level headed, and knew how to make anybody comfortable in front of the camera. While I admired her professionalism and the way she conducted business, it was her personality that assured me we picked the right person for our special day. We chose her as a vendor and now consider her a friend. She has the sweetest soul and is so genuine, so kind, and so easy to work with. I could go on and on about how amazing she is.
Thank you so much for everything, Megan!!!! We can’t wait to work with you again someday, and we hope that day is sooner rather than later!

le of photography. When the pandemic became a reality for many Americans, I was so impressed with the graceful manner in which Megan expressed her concerns and also her commitment to capturing our special day for us. It was so reassuring to have her on our side as our wedding day approached.
The day of was captured in exactly the way we remembered it, but somehow even more magical than we could have imagined. We received countless positive comments from our friends and family about how effortlessly Megan and Tara directed our crew in order to get some amazing shots. My husband and I aren't quite used to being in front of the camera, but they helped us feel natural and comfortable quite quickly.
We received our sneak peeks very promptly after the wedding and our gallery was delivered within weeks! We've spent hours re-looking through our pictures, each time finding a special moment that we had yet to notice or stumbling across a hilarious moment that makes us bust up in laughter.
Working with Megan, it is evident what a kind and genuine person she is. She also contributed some fun vibes to the day, that were so appreciated!
I truly cannot speak highly enough of Megan and Hazel & Lace Photography.

e since Zion was closed due to COVID, and helped us work through a new plan and specific location when our original elopement spot in Zion was still closed for our new August date. She was kind and informative, and fun to hang out with. She helped with ideas on how our ceremony would go since we were kind of stumbling through, being just the two of us there. And she captured our ceremony and day absolutely beautifully. She truly exceeded our hopes and wishes with her photography. We are so in love with our photos and thrilled that we will be able to cherish them, share them with our friends and family, and relive our perfect elopement day through them! She even turned around an incredible sneak peek the SAME DAY so we could share with our excited family members and friends immediately. Thank you for making our dream elopement come true Megan!
Super disappointed! We had Megan booked for our wedding in July. I totally and completely understand that Covid has made things challenging and we are in a world of unknowns. Howev...
er, Megan canceled on us 12 DAYS BEFORE OUR WEDDING. Which I truly think is unacceptable. The first reason being that I reached out to her a few times to gauge her comfort and she assured me that she was good to go if Colorado regulations allowed the wedding to go forward (which they did). Ten days prior to cancelling she asked for the remaining $2500. If people are uncomfortable due to Covid I totally understand, however I don’t believe this is something that you “all of a sudden” do not feel comfortable with. I feel if she wanted to cancel she could have done so in a timely manner and it would of been acceptable.... also she assured me she was comfortable and fine a few weeks prior.
In her email she offered to send her associates instead. Which truly made us believe that she intentionally waited until the last minute so that we would be “worried” and in a state of panic and just go with her associates (meaning she would still get paid). We chose to completely cancel and go with someone else!
For our engagement photos she asked to cancel due to snow we kindly explained this was our only available weekend so we would like to still have our pictures done and she complied.
Doesn’t seem to be very reliable overall. She did not answer when I called after receiving her email... I asked her to give me a call and she failed to do so.
I cannot rave enough about Megan! My husband and I, as well as our friends and family, loved having her and her co-shooter Dylan, at our wedding. They arrived early to our weddin...
g venue, were stress-free, easy to work with, didn't make us feel awkward in front of the camera, and also made sure we stayed hydrated by handing us water bottles throughout the day! Prior to the day of the wedding, Megan was in constant communication with me, which was great. Emails, phone calls, text... if I had a question or concern, Megan was quick to respond. And of course, our photos are absolutely stunning. We can't stop looking at them! We are forever grateful.

as very import to us to have amazing pictures . With us having a destination wedding in Colorado Springs we also had Megan take some engagement pictures at the Garden of the Gods park. It was great to get to meet her in person prior to the wedding day. Megan did a good job of understanding what type of people we are and taking photographs that match our personality type. So far her turnaround time has been really fast, with sneak peek photos being available within 24 hours. We are so excited to see the remaining photos from the wedding and engagement session! Thank you so much Megan!

commendations, and random questions. We (I) immediately fell in love with her work and were so excited that she had common interests: national parks, traveling, trailering, dogs... She helped plan and get amazing engagement photos at a spot special to us near Moab, UT (complete with much needed hand warmers). Our wedding day photos are so "us" and we received so many great photos to choose from. Photography was one of the things we prioritized for our wedding and Megan definitely delivered!
Megan is so professional. She responds to all messages very quick and answers all questions thoroughly. She is on top of the details - sends out a questionnaire asking what style...
photos your looking for (candids, details, etc.), theme of your wedding (traditional, rustic, etc.), and asks for a list of family portraits that are must haves at the wedding so no one is forgotten.
Megan is flexible - we planned a destination wedding in Colorado, but the package included an engagement photo shoot as well, she was kind enough to offer for us to use it as a 1st anniversary shoot instead in case we weren't able to travel to CO before the wedding for engagement pics (we did, though, and LOVED them!). Megan's style of editing is timeless!
We actually booked the "associate package" with her Associate Sara - who is AMAZING and hilarious, might I add. Sara was so easy going and so easy to get along with. She went to Chautauqua Park and hiked up to the Lost Gulch Overlook in Boulder, CO with us for our engagement photos while a storm was rolling in. We had some sun rays poking through and managed to squeeze in a few pics before it started raining- waited about 5 min in the car for the rain to pass and then got some more amazing storm cloud photos, too. It was 60 mph winds and 40 degrees at the overlook and Sara was such a trooper!
The day of the wedding, Sara (and the second shooter, Tara) were so relaxed - managed to scope out some awesome photo locations for us near our ceremony at Sapphire Point Overlook, in Dillon, CO and at the base of the mountain. They also beautifully photographed the house we had our reception in nearby in Dillon. They were fun at the reception and managed to call us outside to take some awesome sunset profile pictures. Sara captured all the details of the wedding beautifully, too, and made sure to capture the fun candid photos of the grandmas dancing, and other funny/silly things people did throughout the day.
Megan is super timely to get sneak peek pictures back for both the engagement session and wedding within 2 days, and the rest of the album was delivered in less than 4 weeks after both!!!! Megan is also super generous to offer to edit out my tan lines on my back in a few extra photos, too (oops!).
Both Megan and Sara have a natural knack for beautiful landscape scenery. Sara does a great job at capturing candid moments as well.
I would absolutely book with Hazel & Lace Photography again!

y which was great since we had never been to that area before. Her photographs are wonderful and speak for themselves. My husband and I can't imagine having a more positive experience with anyone else.

hing I never, ever had to worry about was photography. She has the most calming presence and knows exactly how to get the shot. What this means to you is that there isn't a lot of just standing around feeling awkward.
Honestly, I cannot recommend Megan enough. If I ever win the lottery, I'll try to pay her a salary to take all of our family photos.

e of our favorite places with her! She's so talented and easy-going and we felt ZERO stress with her by our side (even during those crazy months when we thought about location and guest count changes). Our wedding day was perfect and our photos are exactly the timeless, dreamy kind that we wanted them to be. <3

ork and scheduled a call with her that same week. It didn't take long before we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She was kind, funny, knowledgeable, and instantly put us at ease.
An engagement shoot was included as part of the package we booked. We were thrilled when she encouraged us to choose our favorite place in the world - Yosemite National Park. She met us and gave us the chance to show them around the park. I am SO grateful for these few days as they really allowed a friendship to develop between the four of us. She became much more than just our photographer.
Hours before our scheduled photoshoot, the skies opened and it poured harder than I’ve ever seen rain in Yosemite Valley. We questioned whether the shoot would happen until Megan showed up at our tent with an adventurous spirit and umbrellas in hand! We ran out, jumping over puddles and into Brandon’s truck, and were on our way.
It hadn’t rained in over 2 months, and there were no signs of rain that afternoon (even as it was pouring!). Luckily, the rain completely stopped just in time for sunset. Although we had to change locations, we are SO grateful for Megan & Brandon who stuck with the plan as it resulted in pure Magic!!
Words cannot describe how incredible this woman is. Megan has a sense of calm about her that a Bride dreams of having by her side. The pandemic caused us to postpone our wedding twice, but Megan kept in communication through the whole process and continued to keep us at ease. It was because of her that we still had the best day of our lives, and the epic pictures to prove it. She made everyone, vendors and Guests alike, feel her passion and love for her art. She is great at directing you and making the picture-taking process memorable. As if the above wasn’t enough, her turnaround time for photos is out of this world fast!
Thank you for all you have done for us, Megan. We constantly marvel at our EPIC engagement photos and GORGEOUS wedding photos to relive our favorite moments. We love you!!!

en had our wedding yet, but Megan has been my confidant and sanity through the entire process (especially from across the country). You might think it would awkward to hire vendors from across the country and just show up on your wedding day, hoping that you mesh well. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, Megan is so relatable, kind, and open.. she’s the friend you didn’t know you needed! When we finally get married in July, finally meeting and working with Megan will be like seeing an old friend.
Aside from just being an overall awesome human being, her work is what really caught my eye. We almost had hired someone else, when I came across Hazel and Lace. Ultimately, after hearing from my friends about how they could see her work on a canvas on my wall, that’s all I needed to hear to make the decision. The work speaks for itself! It’s beautiful, it’s natural, and it looks exactly like it’s meant to be hung on your walls. But don’t just take my word for it, look through the photos, reach out to Megan, and you’ll understand!
My husband Griffith and I had an amazing experience with Megan and her assistants Sara and Tara. They were the ones to take our photos on our wedding day. When I met both of them, ...
I was immediately comfortable and felt like I had known them for years. They were so helpful, easy to talk to during stressful times, and full of creative ideas! Their style of photos were perfect for what we wanted and we wouldn’t have changed a thing!

inquire Megan to take our engagement photos & our wedding. It was the greatest news to hear she was available to do so. During the engagement shoot, it was completely freezing in Joshua Tree during February but she made us feel like weather wasn’t an option & all that mattered was us. Our photos came out like a dream! They were simply gorgeous.
For the big day, Megan was amazing with relieving the stress & keeping the easygoing vibe flowing. To be honest, once the ceremony began the day was a whirlwind, so dream like. Megan and her team were great at being present for any moment yet be discrete. & I’m so thankful she remembered to take photos of me in my jean jacket that I got embroidered for the wedding. She was on it!
Waiting for the photos was difficult because we couldn’t wait to see our best day ever in print. Once we did, which was rather quick! All the emotions I felt that day came back. I still can’t stop looking at our photos. Megan was able to capture the joy, fun, & love from that day. I can’t wait to ask for her talent again to shoot another momental event in the future. Thank you so much Megan!
Megan and Sara from Hazel & Lace were an absolute joy to work with. Our pictures are AMAZING! Megan and Sara took the time to truly get to know us and learn about the vision we had...
for our special day. Sara was our photographer for the day and she made it so much fun! She captured all of the love on our wedding day. We are so happy with how the pictures turned out and we will be cherishing the memories forever! Megan worked with us behind the scenes and was always there to answer our questions. She was SO helpful and kind and got our pictures back to us so quickly! (Like seriously it was incredible!) Our pictures are truly more than we could have ever imagined. We cannot thank Megan and Sara enough! We highly recommend Hazel & Lace!
This is a much overdue review! Megan is an absolute gem. We did our engagement shoot photo with her on the recommendation of another friend who also used her. From start to finish,...
she was unbelievable. She was easy to communicate with. She helped us with everything. She helped us plan out the day for our destination shoot at Horseshoe bend and antelope canyon. She had ideas about how to coordinate the day. She even helped me pick out my outfits which would go best with the scenery! She has a stellar personality, and she is so much fun! I find myself quite awkward with taking photos, but she was so incredible at giving us guidance on how to pose. She came up with fun things to do in photos that we would never have thought of ourselves! It was a cold day, and Megan came so prepared - she brought handwarmers! She gave us the most beautiful photos and memories we will never forget. We loved working with Megan, and you will too!

t I'll just cover the highlights. First of all, she replied to my message on Instagram almost immediately when I reached out to her... when you're trying to get your ducks in a row, reliability is a must! She was super enthusiastic, kind, and very importantly to me, lgbt friendly. She even agreed to travel out of the way to a place she had never photographed before (we're talking STATES away) just to get a few shots of a place that is special to my wife and I. Okay, let's move on to the day of. She was early to our appointment, made us feel SUPER comfortable when we were beyond nervous to have our pictures taken, and gave great direction that made amateurs like us look like models. In addition to this, her husband tagged along and carried my coat in between shots, provided us with hand warmers, carried my wife's "comfy" shoes, and cracked jokes to keep the mood light when we were worried about feeling awkward. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, we got a sneak peak of our photos within TWO DAYS, with full access to download, share, or print. I was so antsy to see how they turned out, and I didn't have to wait long-- what a relief! And oh, the photos. What I love about Megan's style is that she doesn't over-edit... the faces in the photos are not retouched-- they look like us! And, she doesn't apply any wonky filters that won't make sense ten years from now. They're clear, beautiful, and her talent is able to shine right through them. I can't wait for my grandchildren to see these someday.
Long story short, look no further; pick Hazel & Lace. It will be the best decision you make for your wedding...aside from marrying the love of your life, of course. ;)

commodating, and REALLY fun to work with. The photos were finished and given back to us really quickly too which was a definite plus. They turned out BEAUTIFULLY! We can't stop staring at them. Do yourselves a favor and book with them!
Megan of Hazel and Lace photography was absolutely amazing to work with. She helped us throughout the process of planning our small elopement and acted as both our wedding planner ...
and as our photographer. We live in Florida and we’re planning our elopement in Zion, so we basically planned the whole thing using the internet and Megan all sight unseen. Megan found our ceremony spot and sunrise photo location for us and scoped it all out before we arrived 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. The day of our elopement it was storming so bad that we couldn’t hike and we knew we had to reschedule. Megan was more than happy to accommodate this change for us. She was easy going, fun, and made us feel like models. Our pictures turned out incredible, and they were returned to us very quickly. We were overwhelmed with emotions looking back at them as they helped us remember every moment of our special day. We would highly recommend Hazel and Lace to any and all of our friends who need an elopement photographer ❤️ thank you Megan for photographing our special day, we will treasure these photos forever.

colleague, upon seeing the photos, commented, "They look like they're from a magazine..." :D
Not only that, but I was SUPER late to my own wedding, and Megan was very understanding, kind, patient about it. For the shoot itself, she made my husband and I feel completely comfortable and not awkward at all, which I was anxious about!
Could not ask for better service or photos. And honestly she's just a sweet person to get to know and have around on one of the best days of your life!
Highly recommend!

tographer. She beautifully captured both our engagement photos and wedding day, and we are beyond thankful we found her, because she is exceptionally gifted! Megan was extremely responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She takes the time to get to know you and your relationship, and she has a knack for capturing all the little moments. Both my husband and I were nervous before the engagement photos, but Megan was down to earth and helped us feel comfortable behind the camera, which helped eliminate any day-of stress. Her photos are totally epic and she’s an awesome person. We highly recommend booking Hazel and Lace Photography!
If you are looking for a fantastic, knowledgeable, talented, and personable photographer look no further. Megan is all that and more! From the moment I saw her instagram, I was in ...
love and knew we had to book her for our wedding. We looked at several other photographers before finding Hazel and Lace and when my husband saw her website homepage he even said, "Now that's how you introduce a photography website!" We love how adventurous Megan is when photographing. She drove us up mountains and hiked around to the most scenic spots. She is great at communicating and always responded quickly to any questions I had. She delivers incredible pictures and her pricing is so fair for the quality of her work. My friends have even commented that our photos are some of the best they have ever seen! We are so blown away by her attention to detail. We have so many special moments forever preserved. She is amazing, friendly, and so easy to work with. She instantly makes you feel comfortable in front or the camera to capture real moments. She gives great and easy posing advice to get the most natural poses. We cannot thank Megan enough!!

“feeling” of the moment in her pictures. She is also a total trooper. She hiked up to the canyon overlook with us for the ceremony and spent two hours taking photos with us in pouring rain, thunder and lightening. Super transparent pricing and I thought she was very affordable given the high quality of her work and the value of the packages she offers. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone!! Thank you so much Megan!
We did our engagement photos and wedding photos with Megan - both experiences were amazing and we could not be happier with either product. Megan is so gifted at what she does and ...
she instantly puts you at ease - the photos come out gorgeous, look so natural, and you can hardly believe that someone actually took a good photo of you!
We did our engagement photos in the mountains but our wedding was in downtown Denver and indoors. Megan excelled in both settings and we truly could not have been happier with the photos we received. Family, friends, and our wedding parities echoed the same sentiments - the photos were gorgeous and captured the day perfectly.
Another thing I would like to mention is that Megan beautifully captured each moment that was really important to us - i.e. getting ready, the first look, the first kiss, speeches , etc. Thank you so much Megan for being a part of our wedding journey - we truly couldn't have picked a better photographer and we will treasure these photos for years to come!
We're so grateful we found Megan to capture the memories and moments of our wedding day. The photos she delivered are gorgeous just like her portfolio. What you can't see in the ph...
otos though is how down to earth, kind and caring Megan is. My husband and I were planning our wedding remotely and she just made the whole process easy from explaining the process to online payments to texting before appointments to confirm she'd be there. She even provided the finished digital album quickly in the heart of wedding season. Truly a professional in every sense of the word.
Throughout the process she asked great questions to personalize the experience and stunningly capture the unique look and feel we were going for. Since we were remote and weren't able to get out for an engagement session but really wanted some epic nature shots she suggested a day after adventure session. What a great suggestion! The experience itself was fun and now we have breathtaking photos of our first married adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park. Just an incredibly positive experience all around and I highly recommend her.

out 150 guests, and she captured all the 'traditional' photos that every bride wants (getting ready, ceremony, portraits, and reception). All the photos are so beautiful! I couldn't be happier that I chose Megan as my wedding photographer, and would highly recommend her!! Thanks so much!

landlacephoto) and was immediately impressed! From our engagement photos to our wedding pictures, everything turned out even more perfect than I could have hoped! She is fun, creative, personable, and AMAZING! Thank you, Megan, for capturing each moment of our love story so perfectly. for themselves and I may be a tad biased, but my wedding pics look like a styled Pinterest shoot! I actually came across Megan's Instagram account from the explore page and instantly fell in love with her photos. They had such a natural, timeless feel and that's exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I are from Atlanta, GA and booked our elopement in San Diego, CA to get married on Sunset Cliffs. When I reached out to her, she immediately answered back with Congratulations and lots of questions to really get a feel for what we were looking for. Within a couple of minutes and a phone call later, we booked her and she was already looking at flights which got me even more excited!! The day of our wedding, we finally met and she was full of smiles and couldn't wait to capture our big day. She spent a good hour+ with us after the ceremony climbing the cliffs (even though heights/ledges aren't her favorite thing.. can you say dedication?!) and made sure to capture every little beautifully, detailed moment she and we could think of. She is truly such an awesome, sweet person and she is the reason we will get to remember and cherish our wedding day with her unbelievable pictures. I cannot speak more highly of Megan and Hazel & Lace Photography and I would recommend her to absolutely ANYONE!!!
Megan was absolutely amazing! I've wanted to get married in RMNP for years because I always dreamt the pictures would be gorgeous, and I couldn't have picked a better photographer!...
Megan is detail oriented, which I loved! She has the perfect balance of candid shots and helping position you when needed so that you get a beautiful collection of photos. She's easy to work with and a great communicator. I'd recommend her to anyone and hopefully we can in coming years she'll be available to take more pictures for us!!

any people tell me they originally thought they were photos from a magazine. Megan was able to capture everything perfectly, and provided us with so many pictures to choose from. Starting with the first email, Megan was quick to offer help with everything. In many ways, she acted as our wedding planner, since we were out of state and had no idea about vendors or locations. She told me the best spot for a wedding in RMNP, and recommended my other vendors. She even picked up my flowers in Denver and brought them with her day of. After having worked with two different photographers for our engagement photos & bridal photos, Megan was so great at making us feel comfortable and posing us without making it feel awkward. She was able to get us a few sneak peaks same day, which was great to have as we waited for the whole album. She also delivered the entire album very quickly, within a few weeks. We are already tracking her travel schedule to book an anniversary shoot. I cannot recommend her enough!

r presence is very grounding, which is a huge asset for a wedding because there are so many moving parts. My partner and I took our engagement photos at Red Rocks and had so much fun! The weather was threatening a storm and yet we rolled it and got the photos just in time. My partner and I describe ourselves as not very photogenic and yet, Megan was able to capture our loving and playful connection with each other. The weather on our wedding day was precarious at best and Megan just went with the flow. She captured such beautiful and moving moments with her lens. I am truly grateful for Hazel and Lace Photography's contributions to our wedding celebration!

oked at her Instagram account we immediately knew she was the photographer for us. When we told her that we would like to do our First Look on top of a mountain in January, she didn't bat an eye. She knew the perfect spot and provided us with hand warmers between photos.
When we did our portraits with family, it was incredibly easy to get through them as she captured the photo with just one or two shots; not 1000.
We will definitely use her again for any professional photo needs and recommend to anyone who asks. If you are an adventure loving couple, you will not be disappointed with Hazel & Lace Photography.
