Hazelnut Farm was the perfect setting for our August 2025 wedding. The grounds are stunning, and the vendors they work with are top notch. You are limited in who you are able to hire as vendors, but they all know how to use the space so well and their services were excellent. We loved having a covered outdoor ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour on their stunning grounds, and their ballroom was beautiful and large enough for a stage, band and 150 guests. The team is responsive and although it was on the higher end of our budget, we have no regrets with how beautiful the day was.
We had the pleasure of having my daughter's wedding at Hazelnut. They were fantastic from when we booked the venue to the end! Melissa and the staff were lovely, organized, communicative, and seemed to truly share in the excitement of the bride and groom. The venue is well-maintained, clean, and decorated beautifully. The grounds are gorgeous! So many of our guests raved about it also! I highly recommend having an event at Hazelnut!

Hazelnut Farm Events is a charming wedding venue located in Louisville, KY. The property is conveniently situated just 25 minutes from downtown and 5-10 minutes from the nearest hotel, making this countryside escape easy for guests to enjoy and then call a rideshare app for the end of the evening.
This elegantly designed venue elevates the traditional barn aesthetic. Whether you want an intimate or a large affair, this comfortable climate-controlled event facility can host up to 350 guests. As you enter through the barn's iconic teal doors, you'll discover refined elegance with a rustic flair. The interior features a red brick accent wall, glistening chandeliers, and high vaulted ceilings. Outside, there are many stunning spots where you can exchange your vows and party underneath the stars. One of the popular ceremony sites is beside the picture-perfect lake.
The rental includes many amenities, including a plethora of items such as tables, chairs, and furnishings. All day access for setup also includes a dressing suite is available for both parties to dress and get beauty services can take place right on property. To ensure that your planning process is as smooth as possible, each couple is provided with a list of preferred local vendors that have experience working at the property and have earned the trust of Hazelnut Farm's management team. The catering and bartending company chosen from this approved list has access to the convenient onsite kitchen for meal preparation.
