Shoutout to venue coordinator Katie for helping us unload multiple carloads of stuff in the morning and then having to reload it all at the end of the night! Every little detail was handled with care, and they made us feel supported every step of the way. The indoor and outdoor spaces flowed perfectly, giving us a seamless ceremony and reception experience. And the lighting and ambiance in the evening? Perfection - so many good sunset photos! Hazelwood gave us the wedding of our dreams, and we’ll forever be grateful. The property has two getting ready suites, parking for all guests, multiple ceremony spots to choose from, options for all different kinds of weather, includes all necessary furniture, and is accessible to all bodies. Hazelwood Weddings had everything we were looking for and more, but what sealed the deal for us was the interactions with the owners, Kate and Adam. Kate took us on our tour and was so prepared. She made everything about the wedding planning process feel easy. Kate was very informative but not pushy and assured us she was there to help and encouraged us to take our time in making our venue decision. Adam took care of business on the back end and was quick to respond to all our emails and also sent out friendly reminders for upcoming payments. As an added bonus, Hazelwood Weddings includes a coordination package with a planner from Blake Events. From them we were provided with a wedding planning checklist, a list of suggested vendors, and a portal to upload all contracts. At ninety days out, Emma took over putting together the timeline and coordinating with our caterer, baker, rental company, florist, officiant, dj, beauty services team, photographer, and transportation provider. She was in charge the day of and everything went smoothly and we felt no stress. Our dream of an autumunal sunset wedding filled with subtle nods to our nerdy interests was perfectly us and brought to reality thanks to Hazelwood Weddings. We could not recommend them enough!

The venue itself is so beautiful that you can lay low on decor because you really don’t need that much! You can’t put a dollar amount on the value of the relationship between the venue and the 90-day coordination team (Taryn Blake Events) - their personal relationships with each other and their single goal to make sure your day goes smoothly does not go unnoticed and is the main reason our day was as perfect as it was! I am extremely Type A but during wedding day, I was completely hands off because between Kate/Chloe and our Taryn Blake Events team, everything was taken care of and all I needed to do was see the final product (and ENJOY it!) which was everything I could’ve imagined. Working with Hazelwood makes me wish we could relive our wedding day a million times over and we can’t thank Kate and Adam enough for the experience. If you’re back and forth between this venue and others, we HIGHLY recommend going with Hazelwood - you won’t regret it!

Anyone that looks at their website or social media will instantly know how much time and effort Kate and Adam put into their business. Everything is very transparent and detailed. You can tell how much they actually care and want their couples to have the wedding of their dreams. Speaking with Kate early on in our planning process was like talking to a friend. Even before we booked the space she took the time to answer all of our questions, gave us suggestions, and reassured us that it was OUR day - we could do whatever we wanted and our vision would come to life. We didn’t tour any other venues because Hazelwood checked all of our boxes – it even checked boxes that we didn’t know we had. The added benefit of the opportunity to work with Taryn Blake Events starting 90 days out from our date was priceless. Hazelwood was exactly what we wanted and we couldn’t imagine working with nicer, more genuine people. When questions came up along the way, knowing that there was a team of people ready to support us was so comforting. Kate and Adam always responded very quickly. I could honestly go on and on because these people deserve all the praise that they get. If Hazelwood is even just slightly on your radar, IT SHOULD BE! Kate and Adam were perfect at every turn and were always available to help me when I had questions. Jess was also so helpful on the day of the event and was just so kind and thoughtful. Deb (our complimentary TBE planner for the last 3 months of planning) was thorough and on point in our planning process and listened to everything we needed/wanted for our day. We are so beyond happy with our experience. We love you all forever! Thank you for being a part of one of the greatest days of our lives.

here I was going to get married. I sent my husband too many venues to count, but Hazelwood was the first venue where he instantly agreed that it was meant for us. During our tour, Kate (the owner) was so helpful, and both Kate and Adam followed up with us after the tour. Once we booked, they were so supportive anytime I had a question, and I loved interacting with them through social media. They genuinely want to be a part of your wedding process, and it definitely showed! Our day was absolutely perfect because of Kate and Adam, as well as our TBE planner (that is included in the price!!). Both our indoor and outdoor pictures were beautiful because each space was designed with obvious intention. I would recommend Hazelwood time and time again; they are the best!

Kate and Adam are the nicest, most down to Earth people. My husband and I will forever cherish our wedding day simply because the venue did half the work to make it so beautiful.

Kate walked us around the property, began to give me ideas on placement and explained the new improvements they had and what may come a year later for my wedding. Throughout the entire process, Kate and Adam were very helpful. They always answered my questions accurately and promptly. Being out of state, it definitely made things easier. The day of my wedding, there were chances of rain. I was indecisive about whether or not to take the chance of having the ceremony outdoors or inside since we didn't originally have a contingency plan for it being inside. Kate arrived and explained the layout, answered my additional questions, and alleviated any hesitation I had. The backdrops were beautiful, the facility was just as it was when we toured, and it was a fantastic experience for my dream fall wedding.

Kate took so much time showing us around and walking through what the entire day would look like - there was no question left unanswered! The value of Hazelwood is unmatched, especially with the addition of the TBE planning team to support you throughout the planning process and day of! Everyone talks about how stressful planning a wedding is, but Hazelwood really does all they can to ease that stress and make sure you're feeling as prepared as possible for your special day. Being able to get ready on site was something super important to me, and Hazelwood's two getting ready suites meant both my husband and I had plenty of room for us and our parties to relax and enjoy the morning! Both my makeup artist and hair stylist commented on how beautiful the getting ready suites were and how incredible all of the natural light was! I said this at my tour and I'll say it again, you can tell that Hazelwood was designed to be a wedding venue! Each part of the day has a dedicated space, and the flow between them is so seamless! From ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception there were no questions from the guests of where they needed to be. So many guests at our wedding commented on how beautiful the venue was - and how much it "fit" my husband and I. It's sleek and modern but is surrounded by the beauty of mother nature, which fit our "modern boho" theme perfectly. I could probably write about 10 more paragraphs with my love for Hazelwood, but I'll sum it up with a huge THANK YOU to Kate and Adam for creating the most perfect venue. And a 1000000/10 recommendation - future couples, do yourself a favor and make this the backdrop of your perfect day!!

There is not one inch of that building that wasn’t created with intention for the couple and their guests. When I started planning my wedding I knew I wanted a flawless venue that was not only aesthetic, but safe for all my guests. I searched a few other options and their price point for what they were offering was bizarre. So many would have one thing but not the other. For example, a beautiful location but no parking. Some would have lovely prep suits but hidden fees and constricting regulations. Not Hazelwood, they had everything I ever wanted and more. Beyond their support and beautiful venue, they assisted with the planning process by offering Taryn Blake Events within your contract. I truly look back on my day and think none of it could have been possible without those services. Hazelwood is such a gorgeous venue that it helped me save hundreds, if not more, on decorations and rentals. Speaking of rentals, Hazelwood provides everything you need from tables/chairs, to signs and a whole bar. Seriously, every engaged couple needs to tour Hazelwood. The minute you walk through their doors, you will be captivated by its beauty. There are not enough amazing things to say about Hazelwood Weddings.

When looking for our venue, we were looking for somewhere that my husband and I could both get ready on site but not see each other, somewhere that had indoor and outdoor ceremony options, non-exclusive catering, and included furniture. Hazelwood checked all of those boxes! We had the most perfect wedding day at Hazelwood and would not have changed a thing. Kate and Adam are so supportive and responsive to emails, and SO easy to work with! One of the best decisions of wedding planning was booking Hazelwood.

They are the nicest couple who did all they could to make each of my dreams a reality. Of course, some things just couldn't happen, but they put effort into each request. Their attention to detail when building the venue was impressive. Their enthusiasm for MY big day was stellar. Just the best hosts we could have asked for! Along with my investment, was a day of coordinator, Deb, from Taryn Blake Events. I never would've thought how valuable this addition was, as someone who prepared to plan and execute myself. Deb helped keep all my ducks in a row and was a huge help on the day of and the weeks before. Overall, this venue was my dream venue and I think it's at least worth a tour for your next event- because I know you'll fall in love too! 🥰

Between the website and their Instagram page we had almost every question answered and every detail we needed before even stepping foot on the property! It’s obvious that Kate & Adam really care about providing couples with the best experience possible, and they keep adding more amazing and creative features. Between Kate and the planner Deb, we didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of and were able to enjoy everything! They took care of every detail and were flexible and accommodating to us and our families. The space was absolutely beautiful inside and outside. Our guests loved the fire pit and were very complimentary of the entire experience. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day and we would highly recommend Hazelwood to anyone looking for a venue!

They truly care about their couples and want to ensure they have a great experience while at Hazelwood. It’s great that they offer services from Taryn Blake Events for wedding planning and a wedding coordinator. It was a relief to be able to talk with our wedding coordinator throughout the planning process and meet with her for our walk-through at the venue. It gave us peace of mind knowing that she understood what we wanted out of our day and knew the venue well so that our day would go smoothly. Hazelwood was able to accommodate our many guests but I believe their max is around 150; if this fits your guest list I definitely recommend scheduling a meeting with Kate & Adam and checking out Hazelwood. I’m certain that you’ll fall in love with this beautiful venue.

It made our decision so easy! Kate and Adam’s kindness and enthusiasm for our wedding ideas during the initial venue tour made us as a couple feel so special. Since the beginning of booking, Kate and Adam were extremely responsive. Any questions we had about the venue/policies were answered quickly and efficiently. They’re very transparent which I love! The venue itself is gorgeous. I had plenty of guests tell me how much they loved it, too! Our ceremony was held outside, along with cocktail hour under the veranda, and the main reception inside with stunning high ceilings and farm tables (we chose to go with the long ones). It’s truly a modern, yet timeless venue which allows for any and all color schemes to blend beautifully. And everything is in one location which is convenient for everyone. One of my absolute favorite moments was my husband and I sharing our last dance together alone inside their reception area. I’ll remember that moment forever! We will continue to recommend Hazelwood Weddings because it’s worth every penny. Thank you so much, Kate, Adam and River for making our wedding day so special!

What made our wedding day joyful and stress-free, (not to mention the planning and preparation for the wedding) was the support and communication from Adam and Kate and their partnership with Taryn Blake Events (we worked with Deb!). Adam and Kate were incredibly responsive, professional, transparent, and helpful, even offering to help with things day of if we didn’t have someone to take care of it. Our wedding day was everything we could have asked for and more. Kate and Adam took us on a tour of the still under construction space and shared their mood board to illustrate just how amazing Hazelwood was going to be. We could sense their vision and it matched exactly what we were looking for. Choosing Hazelwood to host our August 2021 wedding was the easiest decision we made while wedding planning. The all inclusive and transparent price, a naturally beautiful space, no additional add-ons required, the sweetest venue owners who truly care about their couples and have your vendors’ best interest in mind were just a few of the selling points. Throughout it all, Kate and Adam were such gracious hosts answering my lengthy emails, making sure we had all the information and tools we needed to have a stress-free day, and providing top-notch service. I could go on and on about how amazing Hazelwood is, but you really should go see it for yourself.
