Best Wedding DJ ever!!! Skip did an amazing job of DJing our wedding this summer at Crystal Mountain. We really wanted a good DJ to keep the party going and he did more than succeed! Multiple guests have told me day of and after the fact that he was one of the best wedding DJ's they have ever experienced! He really reads the flow of the crowd and spins as well! Headsmile Productions is a great name because you will constantly have a smile on your face. Skip (Owner & Operator I believe) was fantastic to work with. We contacted Skip and quickly knew he would be the DJ and MC for our wedding. He was prompt, courteous, non-pressuring, flexible, and provided excellent communication. We appreciate his very very quick turnaround on email and text. He exceeded expectations by miles when he did not need to. For example, we asked he be at the venue by 3:30 PM to do mic checks and setup. He said he would show up at 2:45 PM or so and I saw him setting things up (so he already moved his gear too) into the ceremony area at 2:30 PM or sooner. While being so busy, he was able to check in on my wife and I and make sure we were all settled. A one man show as well, got to see a buff Skip getting work done. In all seriousness, Skip was great in music selection and we fully trusted his ability to figure out what music my friends and family get down to. Skip is a great wedding DJ! We had a small wedding on a cold night so people didn't feel like dancing but Skip was able to get everyone on the dance floor. We hired Skip for our August wedding and were so impressed with him and his services! He was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process and was so easy to work with. Skip was the best DJ for our wedding at North Fork Farm Events at Mt Si. From our first intro call to the actual event we really enjoyed his kind, laid back, and positive energy. We felt well prepared with his info sheet for the flow of events and special songs/moments. Overall there was prompt and friendly communication throughout the whole process. Our venue had some sound issues/noise complaints from neighbors (which they are working through) and he was respectful and involved in this process. Would highly recommend!!

Skip really knows how to get a party going all night long! We hired Skip to be our wedding DJ back before COVID started. The pandemic caused a few reschedules and Skip graciously rescheduled along with us. He was a part of the night that made it truly worth the wait. My words truly can't speak justice to Headsmile Productions and their excellent service, professionalism, and just downright awesome-ness! We booked Headsmile Productions for our wedding back in 2019 (original wedding date of June 2020), and then COVID hit... It took us two years of changing plans and adjusting before we could finally celebrate our wedding the way we wanted in July of 2022. Skip and Isaac stuck with us the entire way, and worked with us diligently to ensure we were still able to throw the ceremony we had envisioned, and it meant the world to us. DJ Isaac was absolutely awesome the day of our wedding, he arrived on-time and navigated our wedding timeline and events like a BOSS. Most importantly, he kept everyone amped up and enjoying the good vibes throughout the reception, we were seriously ecstatic to have Isaac and Headsmile Productions a part of our big day!

Skip is absolutely fantastic. We had a relatively smaller and older crowd at our wedding (56 people) and there were plenty of people on the dance floor all night! He was great at keeping the energy up and reading the room to choose songs that people would enjoy, and he did some really fun mixes/transitions to keep recognizable songs interesting. We are nerdy people who mostly listen to podcasts, so we left the music entirely in his hands, and are thrilled with how well it worked out. He also nailed the timing for our processional, recessional, and first dance songs (we wanted them to start/end in specific places) and was really great about communicating what was going on to guests, which helped the evening run very smoothly. The dance floor lights were great and really made it feel like a party—definitely worth it to add on. Skip also was very efficient with setup and takedown, which was great given the limited window we had for setup at our venue. Communication leading up to the wedding was very clear and quick, and he was really fun and easy to work with. We highly recommend Skip for your wedding!

Skip was absolutely fantastic at our wedding. Even though it was a small, relaxed event and we didn't provide much up-front guidance, he knew the right questions to ask to make it right for us and ended up perfectly incorporating the requests we did have. His DJing made the night an absolute blast; every time I started heading off the dance floor to grab a quick drink, the next song started and I got sucked right back into dancing (probably saved me from a rough next morning, so extra thank you for that). It’s hard to pick a DJ based on recommendations and reviews alone without actually hearing them play. That is what happened with us and it REALLY worked out - Skip is amazing! I couldn’t recommend him enough. Our wedding was on a Thursday but that didn’t stop Skip or my guests from turning up. Skip kept the dance floor packed ALL night long and played banger after banger - I barely wanted to leave to use the restroom! He really knows how to read the dance floor and the crowd. During the planning process, Skip was super responsive and easy to work with. He also has you fill out a music worksheet to get your vibe and understand all the details he needs to MC. In addition, we sent Skip an inspo playlist of songs and he totally crushed it. Everyone raved about our DJ and how much fun they had at our wedding. We hired Skip during the height of the pandemic, thus we didn't even get to meet him until our wedding day, but even before that, we knew he was the perfect choice. Not only had he worked at our venue before, but our coordinator was also singing his praises and rightfully so. I had a fear going into it that the dance floor would be depressingly empty (we come from a more sedentary group of friends and family) but Skip did the impossible and we had a good group of dancers on the floor the entire night. Our wedding was on Halloween night and he did the perfect job blending in great dance music with thematically spooky songs as well. He took silly requests from our friends and was even able to procure an obscure song for the mother-son dance. He ensured the day had a healthy flow and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who has mastered the art.

We love DJ Skip! He's DJ'ed for 3 of our friends weddings now and has killed it every time. He is very communicative leading up to the event and had easy to use worksheets to get prepared. Had to flip the wedding by one year due to Covid. Skip honored our original contract including our deposit. He met all expectations and kept a solid 75 people dancing until the final call. I’ve never been to a wedding where people truly danced the night away. Best memories be ours.

Skip worked our wedding 3 hours south of Seattle. He was very responsive throughout the whole process and very helpful during the year delay due to Covid. He played hit after hit on the dance floor to the point where our guests said they had no opportunity to sit because they were having so much fun. He even played incredible Spanish music and mixes for my family who is Hispanic and got everyone on the dance floor since the second the first dance was over. My wife and I told our guests, ‘If you want to see us during the reception, you’ll have to find us on the dance floor.’ Finding a DJ was one of the most difficult tasks for us throughout the planning process, until we met Skip. His answers to our questions were always ‘Yes’ and ‘We can make it happen however you want.’ That level of calmness and appreciation for our music tastes shouldn’t be undersold – Skip let us put as many songs on our ‘must-play’ list as we wanted, while also taking charge when we said ‘DJ’s choice during social hour, with some cool 80’s power love ballads.’ Throughout the night we had people of all ages hitting the dance floor, exclaiming how fun the music was, and generally having a great time. Something I think is super important – Skip has the ability to re-invigorate a party. There will always be times at a wedding with cake cutting, or garter/bouquet toss when people want to take a breath of fresh air and the party starts to die down. Skip brought our party back to life and kept us dancing for 3+ hours all the way to the last song, and we couldn’t have been happier with his performance. Thanks Skip!

Skip was a fricken awesome DJ! After we booked with Headsmile Productions, Skip sent us a thorough worksheet that contained everything we could ever think of request-wise. The worksheet gave us the option to request specific songs or simply designate a genre/mood/vibe for each "section" of the wedding, so we didn't feel intimidated at all. Skip was on time, professional, and just a nice person the day of. Many guests commented that he was very receptive to song requests, as well.

We had Ian and he was really great. Such a wonderful choice and I would recommend them to anyone who asks. We used Headsmile Productions for our September 2017 wedding and had an incredible experience. We worked with Skip, who was very responsive and helpful when we were first exploring DJ options. He had worked with our venue before so he was able to let us know which of items we needed him to bring, and which wouldn't be necessary. Price wise they were very reasonable as well. When it came to the actual wedding he provided the perfect soundtrack. Everything went flawlessly for the ceremony music, and he had everyone dancing the entire reception. Wedding DJ costs in Seattle can get pretty crazy and I honestly think Skip could charge a lot more for what he delivers! He was super easy to work with, very flexible and accommodating, but still very professional and reliable. He's organized and very responsive, which helped ease the level of anxiety that goes into wedding planning! He was thorough in his preparations and even though we kept changing some of the minor details of what we wanted, he was VERY accommodating, which I greatly appreciate! You can provide as much detail and guidelines for what type of music to play or you can let him handle it all and either way, I'm confident the reception dance party will turn out great. Towards the end of the night, I even had a few friends requesting K-pop music on the whim to which he delivered and showed everyone a great time. Do yourself and book him quick! It's one less thing to worry about!

Prior to the wedding, we were impressed with his pre event packet that showed how organized and professional Skip is. It gave us a lot of confidence in his ability to manage the process. For the ceremony he had a wireless lapel microphone for the officiant, as well as extra wireless microphones for other speakers throughout the night. Our venue required some creativity on speaker and DJ booth placement, and he came up with a great plan to manage that. He acted as the MC throughout the night, starting at cocktail hour, and was a strong and clear communicator. He kept track of our timeline and kept us or our coordinator in the loop when needed (but definitely not too much). He played a great variety of songs, based on our recommendations and the crowd, and kept people dancing all night. Overall, we would highly recommend Headsmile Productions!

The DJ was amazing and easy going. we were only able to get into our venue an hour before hand and he was able to set up and make everything perfect for our special day. The music was amazing he took request. We had a lot of people at our wedding wanting his contact info because he was so good. He was the life of the party. We loved it. Thank you. I would recommend this DJ to anyone, best DJ I have ever heard.

My husband and I love Skip!!! Our wedding reception was a total success because of him! When it came to the dance party, there was not a SINGLE person sitting down. Skip played all the songs we requested, but did it in such a way that kept the energy moving with the crowd. People did not want our wedding to end!! Skip was also an amazing person to work with! Due to some long speeches, we were running an hour behind schedule. Skip kept us totally calm about the whole situation and communicated with us about how we wanted to proceed. There was nothing to stress about…he had it completely under control! Skip was a great emcee as well! He took control and make sure the program flowed smoothly. Our wedding would not have been what it was without Skip!

Issac was great DJ, and I loved working with Headsmile Productions. Our wedding was outside in Woodinville, and Issac was responsible for the music at the ceremony and reception. He set up both areas (as well as preparing for a (thankfully) unnecessary bad-weather plan) and coordinated seamlessly with our wedding coordinator. Our guests thought the music was perfectly suited to our wedding, and my husband and I loved the ambiance it lent the whole event. Issac is friendly and professional, and I highly recommend working with him on your event.

Skip was fantastic! We've been to a lot of weddings in the last few years, and he is head and shoulders above the other DJs we've seen. Luckily we've seen him in action a couple of times (we discovered him at our friend's wedding)... same story both times. I was especially impressed with his ability to read the crowd without much direction from us. He had everyone on the dance floor the whole night (even people that I didn't even realize knew how to dance)! Choose Skip, you won't be disappointed.

I cannot even begin to express our thanks and gratitude to Skip! On my wedding day I was sicker than a dog, our wedding party (bridal side) was chaotic as hell, and things did not run like the timeline given to him. Skip managed to keep our timeline as close as possible and everything was so much fun on the music side. He is a great MC and transitioned things perfectly! Standing at the bottom of the stairs waiting for my entrance into the ceremony and hearing the songs I picked as the wedding party went down the isle, was magical! It was exactly how I dreamt it'd sound as I waited patiently for my turn. Our grand entrance was so much fun and he really got our family and friends cheering for us. Skip was awesome!! I loved that he sent a packet that let you select music for every part of the wedding from before the ceremony to the very end. He was super friendly and punctual. Out of all of the DJ's I contacted he was the fastest to respond. It was great to talk to a real person and not just a company. There was no pressure to upgrade services. Working with Skip (owner of Headsmile Productions) was great! From the first time we met with him months before our wedding I knew he would help make our reception memorable. He was easy to communicate with, very professional, receptive to our requests and vision for the reception, and most importantly he kept our guests on the dance floor from the first song to the very last song! We hired Skip for our wedding last month, and he was SO GREAT. After researching DJs/emcees and emailing with quite a few for pricing quotes, questions, etc., Skip was BY FAR the most helpful and comprehensive with his information. When we booked him, I felt like I knew exactly what I was getting and how much it would cost (no surprise charges, and his fees are super reasonable based on others I had reached out to). Once we booked him, Skip sent a planning document to inform our music on the day of, and it was SUPER comprehensive -- much appreciated for a type-A like me :). He gives you the creative freedom to make the music at your wedding exactly what you want -- either requesting specific songs, giving him an entire curated playlist or just picking a genre and letting him do the magic. The latter is what we did -- picked a genre each for pre-ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, and he did an awesome job of picking great music for us (one less thing for me to have to do as part of the planning process!). On the day of, everything went incredibly seamlessly -- Skip kept the night on track and once the dance floor opened, kept if FULL the entire time. Skip also took requests from our guests which everyone really loved, and he mixed songs, transitions between songs, etc. so it was super evident to our guests that we had a professional DJ there (vs. someone who just skips track to track on a playlist). If I had to do it all over, I would hire Skip again!

He laid out exactly what he included in his price, sent a planning sheet to help with flow of the ceremony and reception. He showed up on time, set up, coordinated with who he needed to and communicated throughout the day as to our needs and any changes. He was great!

What advice would I give to someone thinking of booking Skip.... BOOK HIM NOW!! From the get go my wife and I were impressed with Skip. At our first meeting he gave us this worksheet for our wedding that laid out how the day would go, man was that helpful. He responded to all of our emails the same day and was able to work in a lot of our own ideas with no trouble. And that was just leading up to the wedding. Wedding day came and it dumped like 2 feet of snow, needless to say we were worried he wouldn't be able to get there. But he assured us he'd get there and had everything set up before we could even start to get worried and he freaking killed it!! Throughout the night we made changes on the fly from our "plan", he handled all of them and had everyone on the dance floor all night long. We had multiple people come up to us and ask "Where'd you find this guy?" Can't thank him enough for all he did for us and creating the perfect atmosphere all night. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
