She was such a delight to work with from our initial consultation to me through the day of our wedding. I somehow didn’t cry when I read my vows, when I had my first look with my husband, but wowwwww, I teared up walking through our reception reveal. I am VERY big into the details, and had hoped that every little decor decision would pull together to paint the vision I had in my head. Heather and her team took my vision and elevated it x1000, I was so incredibly happy with every single thing they created. We prioritized a few larger installation pieces to pair with our signage, for our ceremony backdrop, our photo op and really didn’t want to skimp on anything - so the bouquets, centerpieces, and every single stem was important to me. And holy moly, did they deliver! My guests raved about how incredibly beautiful everything was, my bridal party even said they felt like royalty or celebrities with the head table decor. They had never seen anything quite like it. Our florals really elevated the overall look and feel of the day, and I would highly suggest letting Heather and team have some creative freedom, or provide suggestions - because after our conversations and sharing what I really valued, wanted and my top wishes/what I cared more or less about, she was able to take that and spin in into the perfect proposal. She’s a pro and has years and years of experience, so leaning on her to let her have some space to do her own thing was something I fully trusted. We evolved things as the day neared in our final floral meeting to ensure everything would be a perfect fit day of - and it was more than I could have ever imagined. What Heather and her team had (that no one else did) was a combination of professionalism/organization AND artistic vision. So often, it seems like even the most popular vendors only have one of those things. But Heart + Soul created a gorgeous and memorable design for my wedding without making me wait on email responses. I really like how H+S has a unique design perspective - I did so much research on KC florists and I could always tell theirs apart from anyone else’s. More than a month after my wedding, people are still telling me about how beautiful our flowers were - even my husband’s cranky grandma, who doesn’t like much of anything!

Heather uses really unique flowers that I do not see in other arrangements. If you want all your guests to not stop talking about how stunning your flowers are then she’s the florist for you! Also, she made a flower crown for our flower girl that made her squeal with joy for probably 30 mins straight 😊

hat our colors were and the general style I wanted, and from that, Heather created a proposal that was absolutely everything I didn't even know I was looking for. And the final products were even better. My absolute favorite pieces (hard to pick, though) were my bouquet and the arrangement that went on our metal diamond backdrop for our ceremony that was on the roof. There was a little wind that day, but nothing came out of place. It was all very secure on the metal frame. I also want to mention that Heather was very understanding and made it very easy for us to change our date when we made last year the decision to postpone to this year due to COVID.
