Everyone at Heart to Heart Bridal is so wonderful to work with.
They were extremely accommodating and it was clear that they were more interested in me feeling happy, comfortable, and supported than they were interested in selling me a dress. I never felt pressured or rushed.
When I had an incident with my tailor (not a part of their business) they stepped in and helped me out.
Rochelle, Shelbi, and their team were so wonderful to work with during my appointments! Very laid-back and thoughtful about what dresses they suggest, and they definitely listen to you and guide you to see what you like and dislike in the dresses you’re trying on. There were two dresses (one at Heart to Heart and one elsewhere) I had such a difficult time choosing between, but during my second try-on, they remained non-pushy and talked with me about both dresses. Cannot recommend them enough!
I loved Heart to Heart Bridal! It was the only shop I went to because I found my dress at my first appointment! They’re super helpful, sweet, and make sure to give brides all the information they need to look beautiful, even when on a budget! My family is pretty shy, but they too had a good time and enjoyed the experience.
Any questions?
Absolutely, wonderful bridal shop and staff. I was really nervous to go shopping for a wedding dress because I am plus size women and always have trouble with finding clothes that fit my body type the way I want them too and on top of that I don’t wear dresses. Heart to heart bridal not only helped me find the dream dress but they were so kind, caring, supportive and the first and only place I shopped for dresses. I would highly recommend dress shopping there for an all around wonderful experience
I went to 3 different dress shops, and heart to heart was the best. the ladies were so helpful. I went once and wasn't quite sold on the one dress I loved yet, I needed to see one on their site that wasn't in store as it was being fixed. once it was there I made a appointment. I had to reschedule due to my brother passing away and they were very understanding, they even sent me flowers to my house, so thoughtful. Anyways, after going and trying that one dress on, I didn't care for it as well as the other one but the other one didn't have the high back I was wanting but I loved everything else about it, well low and behold they ordered in the same dress with a high back and needless to say " I SAID YES TO MY DRESS" thank you shelbie so much for everything!
I had an incredible experience at Heart to Heart! Everyone was so helpful and I was able to find my dream dress.
Being a second time bride, I thought I'd found 'the one' at a shop in Dubuque, but I was hesitant to order. My fiance' suggested we make an appointment to visit Heart to Heart as I had mentioned it as a place I wanted to look from the very beginning. I made a 'private' appointment so that I could have my mom, my 2 daughters, and my fiance' with me (typically they don't allow kids at the shop). We met with Rochelle and she and I instantly clicked and I just knew this was going to be the appointment to beat. She listened to everything I said about likes/dislikes, what I had envisioned, about our venue, time of year of wedding, etc. She pulled soo many dresses so I truly got the bridal appointment experience and could make definite decisions regarding my vision. After almost 15 dresses, we'd narrowed it down to 5; and then we tried them all on again so I could narrow it down yet again, allowing me to see my favorites back to back. Once I got down to 2, I told her I needed some time to think. She was not trying to sell me on anything I wasn't 100% sure of. After leaving the salon, going to lunch and talking it over, I made my decision. I called the store again, and she was just as excited as I was to make another appointment to come back and get measured. I returned on Friday, this time taking my fiance' and a bridesmaid along. I expected to walk in and just start measurements; Rochelle had me put on the dress again to make sure I had that YES! moment....and it was more than I ever expected! I cannot say enough good things about this bridal salon and the new owners (within the last 5yrs). I cannot wait to see my dress in person and to continue to work with them to outfit my bridesmaids and flower girl.
I visited many different bridal salons and tried on dresses at Heart to Heart 3 times! I had a different stylist each time, which was a bit unique, but each staff member knew how to listen to what I liked and didn’t like about the dresses. I said yes to the dress and can’t wait for it to arrive!
I had an amazing experience here! The staff works so hard to make sure you are getting everything that you need. I loved the selection of dresses, I tried a bunch on and I knew my favorite was the one. I got to try it on a bunch of times, they even let us mess around with it to see what it would look like in another color. I felt safe with the COVID-19 precautions, and still had an amazing experience. I highly recommend it!
Beautiful dress selection. Friendly staff. If I were to do it over again, I would have gone to Heart to Heart Bridal first. Thank you for helping me find the perfect dress!
I'm writing this awful review of this business so that anyone even thinking of getting anything here whether it be bride or bridesmaid related knows exactly what they're getting into; that being you may not get what you order in time for your big day. I got three of my bridesmaid dresses from here, and the only positive thing I have to say is that they had a decent selection of bridesmaid dresses. All three of them were ordered between March and April, which in any world is more than enough time since my wedding wasn't until October 6, or so one would think. Two of the dresses came earlier than expected, in June which was great, while it lasted. The third and final dress was suppose to come by mid August. It's August 25 and I still hadn't heard anything about when this final dress was coming. So I call the shop and the brainless manager or whatever she is tells me it should be in transit to the store, but she couldn't tell me where it was or how long it should be, maybe within a few weeks she says. So I'm fuming at this point but trying to stay positive, even though my weddings about a month away and one of my bridesmaids doesn't have a dress which is going to have to be altered mind you once it finally does come in. A week exactly goes by and I call once again to see where this dress is since I still haven't heard anything, and the same clueless manager tells me she still doesn't know where it is, and also doesn't offer any kind of assistance. I was feeling the stress immensely of getting this dress in in time for the wedding, forget about it getting altered at this point, I just needed my bridesmaid to have something to wear! We were actually about to just buy some random dress online for her to wear because I wasn't not gonna have her in my wedding because of this ridiculous shop that obviously forgot to order this dress. Fast forward yet another week, three weeks ahead of my wedding for those of you keeping track at home, and the dress is finally in. Yet again that same manager who is the least helpful person I've ever dealt with doesn't offer any additional assistance, I'm the one who demanded they overnight ship the dress to my bridesmaid who lives two hours away from me; and after everything she was still reluctant to do that much for me. In conclusion my bridesmaid was able to wear that dress only because her amazing seamstress got it altered in record breaking time. Would never suggest this place to anyone I know, ever.
We went on a Saturday late morning and were the only ones in the store which is really nice. There is a large selection of dresses and they are larger in size so they can fit more women. We were told there was a new employee that was training that day and she would be shadowing and helping us, which I thought was great, but she ended up sitting at the counter talking with her coworker the entire time. We picked out some dresses to try on and the other associate helped me start to try on dresses. When my wedding party asked what I liked or didn't about each dress, the associates didn't seem to pay attention. After we tried on all of the dresses we picked out, the associate picked out two more for me to try. After those 8 dresses, she said that was all they had in the store that was the style I wanted. They thanked us for coming in, even though we never said we were done looking and we were only there for 30 minutes. I didn't have an option to try on more dresses. We decided to stay and look at bridesmaid dresses since all of my bridesmaids were there. The three associates sat at the counter and talked without offering to help us (we were still the only people in the store). We left feeling like an inconvenience to them for coming in. There is much better customer service at other salons in the area. I would not recommend this salon to other Brides.
A very large selection of dresses. If you have a budget >$800 this is your place. You will need to take off your shoes when entering. If you have an appointment , your name will be on the welcome board. Very cute. They will give you special colored rings to put around the dresses you want to try on. The owners daughter was helpful but not very good at conversing, it was a lot of shrugging shoulders or one liners when asked her opinion. She's young and will get better over time so be patient with her. Overall it is a very nice place with a large updated selection.
My first experience at Heart to Heart with the two owners present was great I found my dream dress in 15 minutes with help from the owner after visits to multiple other places. However, that is where the positive experience STOPS.
My first alteration appointment involved the owner's daughter complaing about other customers with the seamstress in front of me. Multiple phone calls went unreturned and when I was finally able to schedule a return dress fitting my mom drove 6 hours only to be told that there had been a mistake and my dress was not onsite or ready. When I went back, they didn't help me in to my pinned dress (or anytime after my first visit). My hem appeared fine but where the dress had been taken in was awful and I had to have a third appointment it still wasn't right in my opinion but I was told it looked "okay" I ended up taking my dress to another person who was able to fix it in a brief visit for a small amount of money, while I was ecstatic my dress finally looked like it was supooosed to I was even more infuriated that it was such an easy fix and Heart to heart was unable/unwilling to do it. Day off my hem had all sorts of hanging threads that my mom had to cut with a finger nail clipper because we weren't prepared to have to do this. Additionally, my 4 part bussel held for about 15 minutes and after that I had to use safety pins, which I could have used all along for free with the same damage to my dress. They have a different inventory; however, if the owners aren't there you are out of luck. It is a shame as they are delightful and going to let their daughter run the store into the ground. If you find your dream dress don't let them talk you into alterations there, though the alterationist has been there a long time she isn't worth their hype or the money.
I was initially going to have my bridesmaids purchase their dresses through them with/ 10 percent off they offer when you buy your dress; however, with the discount the price was 40-80 dollars per dress higher compared to two seperate salons my girls tried stuff on at/we bought from.
My bridesmaids are in three different cities. I went with one to the store to try on dresses. Average customer service that day but has gone down hill since that time. Picked out style and had maids call in with measurements as they live in three different cities. Bridesmaid's dresses were ordered January 12th and did not arrive until May 12th. I was given four different expected delivery dates, not sure if that was a manufacture issue or store issue. Woman assigned to our order said she kept calling manufacturer but I have no confirmation of that. Store owner didn't contact to inform us of delivery and has not called my matron of honor back after it was stated he would. Maids called in with measurements and order was placed January 12th. Store never called with this information. I only got it months later when I needed more information why our order kept getting move back. My maids and I called on various occasions to get an update on dresses. Store never reached out to us. Was told one date for possible delivery, followed by three later dates. Dresses finally mailed on May 8th, arrived at store May 12th. Maids had to call again to ensure dresses were in. Local maid went to pick up. Another from Minneapolis called to provide final payment and have sent out. One maid from Chicago asked to speak to store owner to have overnight shipping covered by the store since arrived so close to wedding date (June 3rd.) Was told store owner would get back to her. On May 19th the manager called me (bride) to say they were having trouble getting the dress to maid in Chicago. Store owner wasn't going to be in until 5:30pm and dress needed to go out by 4:00pm. Acted as if dress would be returned if not figured out. As the bride, I want everything to be finalized. I ended up paying off the dress so would be delivered. Owner has yet to call that bridesmaid to discuss matter. I would not recommend using this store for wedding or bridesmaids dresses.
I got my wedding dress from here BEFORE it changed owners, so it may be different now. The staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable. They let me choose which gowns to try on, which was nice, but didn't offer any opinions on other dresses to try that I may have liked. The store is worn down and needs cleaning. However, the selection and quantity of dresses was good. I ended up buying my dress off-the-rack and they offered me a discount. Their seamstress was not good, and kind of crabby, so I went to someone else they recommended. Overall, I loved my dress though!
The customer service was not good. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and was greeted with annoyance when I entered. The lady helping me never introduced herself and then disappeared. When I went to try on dresses she did not help and was doing other tasks. I did not feel comfortable or welcomed in this store.
I got my Maggie dress that I have wanted since I found it in the Knot magazine. I got lucky cause when I went into Heart To Heart they had it separated out from the racks of dresses. Come to find out, it was on a list to be discontinued. I was thankful they knew that. I ordered right on the spot. They were great to work with. Would have ordered my bridesmaid dresses from them also, if they had not stopped carrying Alfred Angelo. They kept me in the loop, letting me know when my dress came in for me to try on, to letting me know when my first set of alterations are done.
Went here and initially loved it. They have a decent variety of designer dresses for decent prices. I ordered my wedding dress from here. They used a size 8, and altered it to a size 6(which was still too big) and scribbled out 8 on the tag and wrote 6 on it. WORST ALTERATIONS NIGHTMARE I COULD IMAGINE. Altered smaller than my rib cage(I have no fat on my rib cage). They would not or could not let it back out as they took the extra fabric out. I drove up there 5+ times to get the sizing right. 5 days before my wedding, I went up to get the dress, and it was still not right. They told me I could take the dress and fix it myself as the seamstress would not be there over the weekend. The dress also had burn holes near the hem of the taffeta. I took the dress, and spent 8 hours with my mother in law, 2 days before the wedding fixing the dress. THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE. I called and spoke to management, and got the run around for about 6 months. They finally decided to reimburse me for the alterations cost, $340.00. I called 2 months later as I did not receive the check. They 're-issued' the check and sent me back less than $200.00. DO NOT DEAL WITH GETTING YOUR ALTERATIONS DONE HERE!!!!!!!!! MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE TO DEAL WITH!!!!

I purchased my dress at Heart to Heart. I thought the staff was very helpful and could truly understand what I was looking for. I found the perfect dress by Maggie Sottero which I have found that they have a HUGE selection of them. They were very busy as I entered the store but were able to greet me right away. I was there for about three hours. Their service was everything I had dreamed it would be. I also came back for my bridesmaids dresses. Those have not come in yet however my dress did and it fits nearly perfect! I have purchased other bridesmaids dresses there before for several of my friends and.....same spectacular service. The seamstress was very nice and knew exactly what to do. Granted she doesn't work on the weekends but I can understand that. If she made an exception for me, then she'd have to for the next bride and the next and next. She would never leave. I could go on and on about my experience but check it out for yourself. I will be heading back there for my tuxedos for sure!
I found my dress at Heart to Heart and also got our bridesmaids dresses and tuxes through them as well. Staff was very nice and easy to work with. Very accommodating when we needed to overnight tuxes for the wedding when a couple tuxes didn't fit correctly.
I did not get my dress through this company, but I wish I would have. I went there looking for shoes and their intimate setting was amazing:) They got to know me even though I was looking for shoes. We did rent our tuxes through them and ran into a couple ordering issues, but everything turned out perfect on the wedding day!!
I purchased my wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses at Heart to Heart. When I first shopped at Heart to Heart for my wedding gown, I had a good experience and they had a great selection of dresses, but once they swiped my credit card the service went completely downhill. We had several issues throughout the process of working with them and I would absolutely not recommend someone shopping there for their wedding.
1. My wedding dress was completely made of lace. I'm not very tall so before I ordered my dress I asked more than once if it could be hemmed or shortened. The manager reassured me that the seamstress could work with it and make sure it's the right length. When the dress arrived I met with the seamstress at Heart to Heart, my dress was about 3 inches too long and I asked her what she could do about this. She was very flippant and told me, "Oh, I can't hem that!" It was very upsetting. They shouldn't have sold me a dress that they can't alter, and the manager should have checked with the seamstress before promising me that it could be.
2. I called at one point to ask how much my final payment was and when it was due. The girl on the phone gave me a very vague response for the due date. I asked her again about how much the final payment was and she said something along the lines of "Just half of whatever your paid originally." It was disappointing and frustrating that she couldn't find this simple information for one of their current customers.
3. When we first went shopping for bridesmaids dresses one of the styles was marked at $115. When we came back to order the dresses it turns out the dress was labeled at the cost value instead of retail, so it was actually $230. We didn't discover this until one of my girls was about to pay. It was a shock and what was more upsetting is that the manager not only tried to hide it, but she placed blame on a coworker, then onto me, and was unwilling to work with the price. After talking to the owner they brought down the price slightly, but the entire situation was handled extremely poorly.
4. Lastly, they didn't ask the height of the bridesmaids when they ordered their dresses. My Maid of Honor is 5'10" and decided to call a few days after we ordered their dresses to check on the length of the dress. She was told that the bridesmaid dresses are made for a 5'6" girl and so they would need to order extra length. If my MOH hadn't called her dress would have been 4 inches too short. This is something that should have been addressed when they were going over the sizes to order.
I found the dress of my dreams, but the entire process was frustrating and very upsetting. I wish I had reviews of this shop being going there because I found that I'm not the only bride who had this type of experience. I found the same dress at another store but decided to go with Heart to Heart because it was more local. I wish I hadn't made that decision.
I had visited 3 different states and tried probably 75 different dresses on before I found MY PERFECT dress! The staff was helpful. The building is cute which adds to the excitement of finding your perfect dress!!
I had a very good experience at Heart to Heart. I wouldn't say amazing. I had a few occasions when going in there that people were not so friendly. They have a wonderful selection of dresses.
I purchased my wedding gown and my bridesmaids dresses from Heart to Heart. They had a great selection of gowns and dresses and I was easily able to find items that I loved. I adore my wedding gown and am so glad that I found it!
While the staff is very nice and willing to help if you have questions, I did find that they do not always provide especially personal service. I had called ahead for appointments each time I visited the store but all that seemed to do was reserve a dressing room, not any dedicated help. For example, my mom was stuck running around helping me try on dresses rather than one of the women working. It could just be that my expectations were too high (or simply based on the consultants from 'Say Yes to the Dress' on TV!), but in my visits to other bridal salons in the area it does seem that the employees at Heart to Heart are comparatively less involved in the process. I understand some people may be looking for just that, and if so this may be the perfect place.
I will stress that I did not have a bad experience with this vendor at all, just that it was different than I had expected. I am so happy to have found such beautiful dresses there!
The girls were so personable. they knew my name every time i came in and were so helpful!
Very happy with my experience - great selection of gowns!
We used heart to heart bridal for my wedding gown, 7 bridesmaid dresses, and 12 tuxes.. i would have thought their customer service would have better considering we did EVERYTHING through them.. it was aweful.. 2 of my bridesmaids dresses fell apart.. every tux in the party didnt fit and had to be re ordered.. 1 groomsman had a pin still in his tux that couldnt come out.. FIL's shoes broke.. just everything about them was absolutely terrible!
Great to work with!
Heart to Heart bridal has a great selection of bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses. However, their customer service has a bit to be desired. I experienced rude and unhelpful attitudes multiple times throughout our wedding planning.
I was excited to go to Heart to Heart because I'd heard good things about it before, and let's be honest- what bride isn't excited about dress shopping, but I was disappointed overall with them. The service there isn't the best. When we were looking at dresses, and I had made an appointment, no one came to really help us. We just looked through all the dresses ourselves. It would have been nice if someone sat down with us and asked what I was looking for, budget, etc. I found my dress there and loved it, so we bought it that day. A few months later when it was time for Bridesmaid's dresses, that too was a disappointment. Again, I made an appointment so we could be helped and again we were left alone. One lady did check in every once and a while, but didn't really do anything helpful. They even ordered my MOH's dress a size too small! I will say that there is one employee there who was always helpful and nice. She knew my name whenever I'd come in which I thought was nice. A few months after the Bridesmaid's dresses I went in for my first "fitting". Only, it was more, me trying my dress on and that's it. I asked if I could schedule an actual fitting and they said yes, but I'd have to work around the seamstress's schedule, and that if I wanted more than one fitting I'd have to pay for it. Obviously. So I ended up taking my dress somewhere else to be fitted. Bottom line, they do have a great selection of dresses, but if I had found my dress at a different store, I would have bought it there.
So I absolutely loved my dress, but it took 6 months to get there. I think they need more staff because every time you go in there you basically have to stand around till someone notices you and even then they give you very little attention. I kept having to call to ask if my dress was in. It was an ok experience.
