She also had very good recommendations for us about changes that we can make so the ceremony flowed better. For the rehearsal and ceremony she arrived early, and was very pleasant and helpful throughout the whole process. In the midst of planning a wedding, you tend to put off or not have time for certain things...this was true for us and our personal vows. I appreciated that Kathy kept gently reminding us to turn in our vows to her. Our ceremony was everything I expected! We are so happy we went with Kathy, it was the perfect choice!

To get the one piece of negative feedback we have out of the way - details about our complicated families seemed to escape him between our initial meeting and the time of our rehearsal planning, but that is understandable. Also, we had initially scheduled a rehearsal with him the night before our wedding, but met with him about one month later and he told us he and his wife had a wedding that night. He somehow got double-booked. BUT, he came to our rehearsal midday that same day and it worked out just fine. On with all the positive things to say... Larry is very genuine and is such a sweetheart. He is very prompt - arriving early to every meeting we had with him. He gives you a plethora of reading materials for you to put together your perfect wedding ceremony, including different readings, traditional ceremonies, and extra poems. He also provides you with a name change checklist, a printed and bound copy of your ceremony words, and a helpful booklet regarding starting a life together. Larry was surprisingly directive at the rehearsal, which was probably a good thing with our group, but we did not expect it from him! Needless to say, everyone knew their part and the actual ceremony went flawlessly. We highly recommend Larry if you are looking for a genuinely heartfelt wedding - it's in the name!

Because my fiance and I were so busy, we didn't meet Larry in person until the day of the wedding, and I only communicated with him through email. He sent me a lot of helpful information and ceremony options/suggestions though and we were able to put together the perfect simple ceremony we wanted. He was very professional. He gave me a lot of information. He arrived extra early (making sure he didn't get stuck in traffic). Afterward, he gave me a copy of the ceremony and information about getting our marriage certificate and changing my name. He even asked someone to remind me to move my engagement ring over before the ceremony. I was a little scattered in the weeks leading up to the wedding, but Larry was on top of everything. Our ceremony turned out just the way we wanted it. Also, I had shopped around, and Heartfelt Weddings charges a very reasonable rate. Thanks again Larry!

Wilkerson and she was great! She gave us all the information that we needed from the name change, marriage license to everyone's role in the ceremony. She gave us samplings of her ceremonies and found one that we thought fit us perfectly. She was full of information that helped guide me the technical part of the wedding such as name change. Despite me messing up on my vows, her voice kept me calm. Kathy made our wedding memorable.

From our first meeting she gave us a lot of information on the actual process of getting married (license, name change, etc.) and tips on how to structure the ceremony. She was very responsive and got back to us quickly each time we contacted her. She provides sample ceremonies and readings to help you with the ceremony wording and goes over the ceremony with you and provides changes/suggestions. She did a great job of running the wedding rehearsal quickly and efficiently, and gave everyone all the info they needed to know for the actual ceremony. She is a very sweet person and I really enjoyed working with her. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant.
