My favorite part of this job is the people. I genuinely love getting to know our customers, especially our brides, and helping them think through what they need to make their event everything they've dreamed of. I have a background in science, office administration, and people management, which means I bring both a detail-oriented mind and a people-first approach to everything we do. I also have a passion for décor and a good eye for what looks beautiful at an event, so if you ever want to talk through ideas, I am always happy to chat! Oh, and I love to bake! - Justin LauriaCo-FounderHi, I'm Justin, co-founder of Heartland Event Rentals and the guy you'll probably see hauling tables and chairs out of a big white van named Lorenz. 🚐 I grew up in Tennessee, raised by a mother who taught me that the most important thing you can offer another person is genuine kindness. That lesson has followed me everywhere, and it's the foundation that Heartland Event Rentals is built on. We wanted to bring that heartland warmth to the Austin area, and everything we do is rooted in that mission. Before starting this company, I spent years as a professional real estate photographer and videographer so I have a deep appreciation for presentation, quality, and getting the details right.
