About this vendor
A bit about me -
My first wedding was for my dear friend, Lisa. I was so flattered when she asked to sing at her wedding!
As the months passed, this ceremony singer became her Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies in Training.
I was terrified but I was also confident that I would not let her down and that she would have the wedding she wanted. I was right! At the end of the night, Lisa and her sweet husband Robert were delighted and I was HOOKED! A thrilled couple, a ROCKING dance floor, a night of fun and festivities. Who wouldn't be addicted, right? Flash forward 17+ years. Today, I'm still hooked and LOVE what I do!
Every time I sit down with one of my couples and we talk about their "Big Day" I get excited all over again, so let's talk about yours now and how I can help!
~Lisa

Talking to Lisa prior to our wedding I was super excited, however at the wedding was not what I expected. I hired Lisa as the DJ and MC for our wedding. Talking to her prior to the...
wedding I was excited she had worked at my venue previously. she seemed to have great experience and an even better personality. At our wedding Lisa did not MC, there was a gentlemen I was unaware of who clearly did not have experience being an MC. There were issues from the very start, there was a mix up of the introductions partially faulting on the wedding party line up however this happened 3 times in a row. The MC clearly was not reading from the room but a poorly put together inaccurate script. You could hardly hear him and after being asked to speak up nothing changed. During my entrance he didn't even notice a major dress malfunction and that I had left the room and continued onto our first dance..without the bride and groom present. He continued to whisper into the microphone and had no presence or energy but was very sad sounding and monotone. Thankfully by this point my wedding coordinator jumped in to save the day and kept the schedule for the MC. out side of the issue and lack of coordination, and poor MCing - the music was wonderful. when things were played at the right times the vibe was just what we were wanting. I suggest not having the unknown gentlemen MC again, it's unfortunate we weren't able to enjoy the possibilty of Lisa's presence for the MC at our wedding.
Sent two emails for a quote request and never got a response.
Lisa was fantastic! She was amazing the day of the wedding and such a joy to work with through out the whole process!

lad we were able to find her in such a short notice. Our guests were able to request specific songs they wanted to hear and Lisa was on top of things in order to find the right song. We would definitely hire her again!
Lisa was amazing. She took songs that both my husband and I liked and created a playlist that kept my guests entertained and dancing all night. She was so flexible and easy to get ...
in touch with when I needed to make changes. I would highly recommend her as a DJ for any event.
Lisa has been our wedding planner and DJ for two of my daughters and I just can't say enough good things about her!! She is so organized and helps brides think of every single deta...
il. She visits with the couple and learns about their tastes in everything from the theme to the types of music to play for the ceremony and reception. She is absolutely amazing in her knowledge and can help brides who haven't put much thought into what they want, as well as brides who have already decided exactly what they want. She has so many ideas for all types of themes and helps the bride have the best day ever by ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
I highly recommend Lisa for any event, not just weddings. She's a lot of fun and when people think back on your wedding they remember what a fun time they had! People still talk about one of my daughter's wedding as being the most fun wedding they had ever attended, including their own!
Lisa was fantastic! As the MOB, she made my day easy with an outdoor setup, indoor reception, she kept everyone on track. From the very beginning I knew we had selected the right D...
J, she met me close to home for the deposit, setup easy monthly payments and came for the rehearsal so she would know what was happening on the big day! I would definitely recommend her for your special day!

hs prior to the wedding so we could come up with a failure feee plan. The day if she made sure all I had to worry about was saying I DO, which of course was no worry at all! Most affordable planner I could find and say she was the best money we spent!
Lisa from Heartsong Entertainment was a fantastic DJ and MC, and definitely helped make our wedding day one to remember!

ce-to-face to discuss the details of our reception, and provided us with a convenient online planner. Lisa was very professional, kind, and helpful, and even helped me find affordable cake vendors when I was running out of options.
Lisa went above and beyond for us on our wedding day, and thanks to her, our reception went smoothly with perfect timing, and of course, great music! To anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or next event, I highly recommend her services; you won't be disappointed!
Heartsong Entertainment was the DJ for our wedding, and Lisa was also our Day-of coordinator (since we had the location of our reception for the entire day). Lisa was extremely or...
ganized and did a great job of getting to know myself and my husband. Lisa made herself as available as possible, and was even at the reception location late the night before the wedding to help set up the table linens and decorations and the day after helping to clean up dishes to be picked up the next day. We were able to get quite a few people dancing at our wedding, and everybody had a blast! We had a few issues with people hearing a few of the announcements at the wedding, but that was likely due to several separate conversations.
Lisa Thompson was THE easiest person to work with. She was so very informative and helpful during all of our communications prior to and on our daughter's wedding day. She made m...
e feel at ease during our first conversation, and encouraged me to believe that "we can do this!" She is so much more that just a DJ; she was the MC for the evening-yet made sure the spotlight was always on the wedding couple. Lisa kept the evening moving and upbeat, yet not rushed feeling. The wedding reception was flawless. Lisa is able to be super organized yet extremely flexible, creating a very smooth flowing program for the entire evening. She was extremely interested in making sure that the bride and groom had things occur they way they wanted them--while at the same time steered us all with her experience as to what works...and also what often does "not work". I would highly recommend Lisa's talents to anyone.
Heartsong did a fabulous job. Lisa was incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible.
