Heather was really lovely during the run-up to the wedding, always happy to answer questions and suggest creative answers! As it was a destination wedding, communication was key - and Heather was always good at responding to various emails and messages. On the wedding day, Heather and her colleague were smart, punctual, presentable, and personable with the wedding guests and family, keeping everyone relaxed throughout the day. They were discreet, but always there to capture the main moments of the day. The photos are stylish and naturalistic and absolutely in keeping with the brief from the bride and groom. Heather was very responsive from the get-go & she made it easy to schedule a date & time to meet with her as well as a good location that was easy enough to get to in Ocean Beach. She provided a shared Pinterest board for us to exchange ideas of what we wanted out of the photos so she could nail down our vibe weeks ahead of schedule - she's prepared and she plans ahead. When we got to our appointment, she made us feel very comfortable & is really personable which is so appreciated especially if you aren't super comfortable in front of a camera. She was attentive to our needs with the shoot & very patient with our awkardness, offering advice on how to get the most out of the photos & poses in an almost natural way. She had planned out how to use all of our props as well. The day turned out to be gloomy to no one's fault of course so the photos were a bit grey. However, Heather did her best to retouch them & bring them to life. We're using them all over our wedding website now. She goes above and beyond for her clients and she offered us an amazing experience. I'd recommend Heather to any one who is looking to take some all natural engagement photos and have a good time while doing so. The beach was crowded so I'd recommend taking time off work mid-week to get the best clear photos. I wish there was a way to reschedule in case the day became gloomy because that was a little bummer.

I hired Heather in January 2018. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She was so easy to work with and made sure every detail was taken care of. She walked me through everything and I'm so glad I took her up on some of her ideas! Planning the wedding was stressful but she took care of everything related to our photos and helped to me to feel at ease. It took about 3 weeks to receive our photos and they were worth it! I cried when I received our Wedding Album! Thank you so much!
