Heather was by far the best photographer we could have asked for!!! She made taking the photos fun and comfortable. She was also SUPER efficient, which was a plus. My wedding party kept commenting on how awesome she was, especially with things like helping us pose in the most flattering way. I just received my wedding photos and I am in LOVE. I could not recommend Heather more! She is everything you could want in a wedding photographer - friendly, energetic, accommodating and creative. My husband and I normally don't like taking pictures, but Heather made us feel totally comfortable and at ease and our pictures turned out amazing because of it. She did a great job documenting the whole day and capturing all of the elements, big and small, that went into our ceremony and reception. She was also very timely in giving us our images after the wedding and I love how she does sneak peeks on her social pages and blog shortly after the wedding to tide you over. Her gallery and ordering system is also very user friendly and makes it easy to share the photos with family and friends (which is all I wanted to do once I saw the images!!) I am so so happy we chose Heather as our photographer and that we have her beautiful photos to help us remember our day.

Heather and her team are truly amazing! My husband and I were so nervous being in front of the camera at first, but Heather made us feel so comfortable and put us in poses that felt so natural. She was so calm on the day of the wedding and during the ceremony and reception she did an incredible job blending in and not being distracting to us or our guests. We were very picky when hiring a wedding photographer as we know that the photos from the day are such a big part and what will help us hang onto the wedding day memories. As the MOB, I hadn't met Heather until the actual weddding day, but I knew when she first walked into the bridal suite that she was going to fit in perfectly with our family. She is the sweetest person that somehow also has the ability to take charge and can get people to do exactly what she needs in an efficient manner. Even after many hours of photos, etc... the bridal party was still singing her praises and happily smiling when prompted by her clever ques. At one point, I saw her army crawling across a brick floor to get the perfect shot and later soaked and shivering in the rain to capture a stunning moment that we will forever cherish. She obviously takes her work very seriously. While we loved spending our day with this fun, sweet and perky photographer, what has really blown us away are the pictures we have seen so far. She captured the day in a way that took us back to moments we didn't even know had happened and places I didn't remember her being. We would highly recommend Heather to capture your wedding memories. I was introduced to Heather when I was the MOH in another wedding. I was blown away by the photos from that wedding and how easy Heather made the photo process. There aren't enough great things to say about Heather. By the time we got to the wedding, I felt like she was an old friend of mine who was a guest! She made my husband and I so comfortable during portraits and we could not even see her during the ceremony and reception but she took AMAZING photographs. We got engaged and took our engagement photos with her in Boston and the wedding was in Kansas. Being that it was a Jewish wedding, she researched some of the traditions and rituals ahead of time, so she'd be fully prepared. Heather is AMAZING. We absolutely love our wedding and engagement photos. We had so much fun working with her when she came to Chicago to shoot our engagement pics as well as on our wedding day! Heather is amazing! Sam and I live in Boston and had very little time in KC before our wedding. Planning long distance can be stressful, but Heather put us at ease. She was available for Skype consultations and quickly replied to emails leading up to the big day. I cannot say enough! Working with Heather was a wonderful highlight of wedding planning! She is professional and SUCH a sweet, creative, thoughtful individual! She was so knowledgeable and incredibly talented! I truly cant recommend her highly enough! I knew I didnt have to worry about anything the day of the wedding...she had it all under control, and that peace of mind is priceless! Heather is a joy to work with, and her photos speak for themselves...she's incredible! I'm so happy she was the one capturing some of my most treasured memories!!!
