I am extremely passionate about my photography because I love to capture those special times in life that we want to remember forever. But it's so much more than snapping a quick photo, it's about capturing the joy, energy, and beauty inside of my clients. Each and every one of you are what inspires me. I look forward to getting to know my clients and building relationships with y'all!

When I'm not behind the camera, I love spending time with my husband Cliff, sitting on our porch with a glass of wine.... in my rocking chair (yes I'm 31, not 101 I swear!), I prefer books over the movies, I am the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan ( I mean nerd! ) you will ever meet!
I live the simple life in a little farm house in Howe Tx with my husband & our two girls
& I wouldn't have it any other way!

My love for photography started in highschool, I picked up my moms camera and shot photos of everything around my property of 6 acres....and I haven't put a camera down since. I graduated from California State University, Chico in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Studio Art & Photography.
I grew up in the small town of Paso Robles, CA and I moved to Texas, after College graduation, to further my career in photography. Never in a million years did I think, I would end up way out here in little ole Howe Texas, but you have to be brave and take risks. Nothing can substitute the experience!

Heather has the kind of bubbly, fun energy that makes it feel like a close friend is capturing your big day rather than just a photographer. I even requested a different location for our engagement session, and she was so accommodating and made it happen!
Her turnaround time for our photos was also incredibly quick, especially considering it was during a busy wedding season. And on the wedding day, she was AMAZING! She captured the most gorgeous photos of every part of our day while somehow making the time spent taking pictures feel fun and effortless.
One of my favorite surprises was the film Polaroid booklet she put together for us! She also shared social media content throughout the day, giving us access to videos, photos, and film moments almost immediately. It was such a special way to relive the day while it was still happening!
Heather deserves more than five stars, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. Her work is absolutely gorgeous, and she is such a sweet, professional, and genuinely wonderful person to work with. We are so grateful she was the one who captured our wedding day! đ¤

Heather was the kindest and most professional person throughout my wedding planning journey. She was always quick to respond to my tex...
ts and calls. We had an initial one on one call on Facetime to talk through what her packages looked like and she helped me narrow down which photography package I would like for my wedding day. She gave me tips about first looks (SO HAPPY I LISTENED TO HER ON THIS!!!) but I never felt pressured on any decision with her. She told me a little bit about her own wedding experience and I loved having that personalized touch from my photographer. As we got closer to the day, Heather helped my husband and I book our engagement session. This was an amazing experience for both of us. I have never felt so comfortable with a photographer. My husband is quite shy and even he said it just felt natural with Heather. She gave us suggestions on poses and helped us create lifelong photos. I also did my bridal shoot with Heather and she was kind enough to drive all the way to my wedding venue (which was about an hour away!). She helped me get ready and walked me through how to pose. What I loved most is that the photos she captured during my bridals just felt natural. I have so many photos of me just laughing and having fun. Nothing is forced with her- she was able to capture my natural beauty. And OMG is she amazing at catching the good lighting!! She is truly phenomenal
Leading up to our wedding day, Heather was so kind in helping ease my nerves. She provided me with a suggested photoshoot list and had me add in names and extra people I would like to include. She worked with my wedding venue, Davis & Grey Farms, to come up with the ideal wedding timeline. This was a lifesaver day of.Â
Day of the wedding, Heather was an angel. She was so upbeat and positive throughout the whole experience. She took detail photos while my bridesmaids and I got ready and I appreciated not having to cue her- she just did it!! AMAZING!!Â
I actually had an oopsy about 30 minutes before my first look- of course getting dirt on my dress. Heather was SO CALM and kind to me about it. She rushed in to help get it off and just reassured me that this is a moment that I literally wonât remember and it will be okay. I appreciated having someone look at me and tell me itâs okay! The funny part is.. you LITERALLY could not see it in any of my photos. Just a funny story now!Â
Heather also had a second shooter, Ashlyn who was just as amazing as her. Had the best energy throughout the whole day.Â
Our first look was so special and we got so many beautiful lifelong memories. The family photos were quick but efficient and I got every photo I wanted! I loved how organized she was to help save us time.Â
Our sunset photos were TO DIE FOR! Heather is literally an angel sent from above for capturing the most breathtaking photos iâve ever seen. My husband and I were in awe looking at them.Â
I loved how Heather captured little videos throughout the whole day that she posted and sent to me. This was such a special touch because we didnât hire a videographer and I felt like we almost got one with her!Â
Overall, I know I will use Heather Buckley Photography for years down the line. She is professional, kind, and truly a friend throughout the whole crazy wedding process.
