n wedding, and doing a lot of research, we knew she was the right fit for us. Heather flew out to see us in Minneapolis to shoot our engagement photos, which turned out gorgeous. She was a rock star following us around in 100-degree weather and always keeping a smile on her face (and helping us do the same). Then - on the day of - she and her co-photographer (Sarah) worked beautifully with us and our families. They were flexible when the ceremony ran late, and knew how to work with the early sunset of our January wedding. Heather and Sarah were also very knowledgeable about the Pritzlaff building (where we held the reception), were able to take some really creative shots with us, and knew how to photograph the large space. We just saw our "sneak peek" photos (just DAYS after the wedding!), and we were floored. Heather and Sarah captured the day perfectly, and caught so many significant moments with grace and beauty. We feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work with Heather! Would absolutely recommend her!

le! And without stressing us out about it - she has a way of moving us through the poses/tasks/etc all while silently keeping track of time. For me, I would hire nobody other than Heather. I trusted her to not only take beautiful photographs (which she did) but also keep us all on schedule and relaxed. She is a creative problem-solver and is flexible enough to react to the unknowns of the wedding day gracefully. And of course, you can expect the most gorgeous photographs from her! She has an attention to detail like no other, and it was capturing all the special details of our day that was so important to me. While we did end up spending more than we originally budgeted for photography, I can tell you her services are well-worth it! The last thing you want to do is end up with sub-par photos from your day or the photographer missing a very important shot, and with Heather, I knew that would never happen. She was worth the extra money to feel totally at ease the day of that she would do her job amazingly! And she did! TRUST ME, YOU WANT TO HIRE THIS PHOTOGRAPHER! Book her early, she fills up quickly!

laughing about when I put my dress on, what my sister said in her speech. She captured the emotion and story of our wedding day, and the story of our relationship, so wonderfully. She gave us images we will cherish for a lifetime and art which will hang in our house for many years. Heather puts her artistry and heart into each image. Heather was wonderful to work with throughout our planning process. She was the very first vendor we chose, and she helped us throughout our planning. She was flexible and responsive. My husband was a little less than enthusiastic about doing engagement photos, and he felt immediately comfortable with Heather (and loves our engagement photos!). She helped make our engagement fun and reduced our stress. On our wedding day, she (and her assistants) prioritized the shots that were important to me, got great photographs I didn't even know she was taking, and added to the enjoyment of our day. She posted a preview of our photos the Monday after our wedding, and got us the complete, edited disc less than a month after the wedding. I would be remiss if I did not add a little something about the albums Heather creates. I was unsure about working them into the budget, but ended up deciding to get a package which included an album and two parent albums. I am so very happy we made the choice to order albums. They are absolutely gorgeous- and I certainly could not have done them myself online! Heather did an incredible job putting together gorgeous albums which tell the story of our day. She let me be as involved as I wanted in picking the photos, but the final product was a result of her artistry and editing. Working with Heather was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. I cannot recommend her enough to future brides and grooms.
