I really wanted to like Heather. Our first phone call was friendly and she seemed great. However, after that she was not easy to communicate with and I often had to reach out 3-5 times to get a response. She didn't confirm our photo location (local park) until the morning of our wedding. Sadly, we were disappointed in the quality of her photography. For the first look, she took a picture of the groom's back (and I'm shorter so neither face was photographed). She didn't take time to help make sure people's faces could be seen in family group shots and randomly cut people's feet out of the frame. We did an "al a carte" package for 3 hour, digital photos, and 3 prints. I know $600 is a great price for an off season wedding, but honestly we got better shots from my friend and cousin on their iphones. For pros, the three prints that we received were very good quality and I like that she didn't over-edit the photos/lighting.

Highly recommend hiring Heather Fitch as your wedding photographer! When we were initially searching for photographers, Heather stood out to us for a variety of reasons. Her services are reasonably priced, she’s incredibly easy to work with, she is efficient, and flexible. First of all, our engagement shoot with Heather was so easy! She had ideas for where to shoot and what photos to capture, as well as a series of poses for us to do (all of which is incredibly helpful when you’re not used to posing for photos!). She also allowed us to add in our own poses and photo ideas which was great. Secondly, our wedding. Wow is she amazing. We had a morning wedding and Heather was at the venue bright and early to start shooting. Her second photographer was equally easy-going and professional as she was. They were flexible with our timing and didn’t make me feel stressed when I got a little behind schedule. Heather had the specific shot list with her and she routinely double checked it. She was unobtrusive. I would almost say I didn’t even realize she was there - that’s how good she and her partner were. Additionally, she posted a preview album of our wedding THE DAY AFTER. How amazing is that?! Seriously though, hire her. She’s the kind of photographer who will make you feel comfortable, who is extremely efficient, and flexible. 10/10 would hire her again. Thanks again Heather for the fabulous pictures!

Amazing from the start. I was recommended to Heather by another photographer and I am so happy that I found her. From our first meeting to seeing the photos, I was consistently impressed. She was prepared for our first meeting with examples and tons of information. Her email communication and attention to detail was great. She worked to get all of the photos we were looking for in a timely manner, which was a challenge because I didn't want a reveal until the ceremony. Heather worked so quickly and professionally after the ceremony to get all of the photos completed and get us to the reception. I can't say enough good things about her. She was truly one of the top vendors at our wedding!
