I'm Black American, and my husband is Italian and Irish, so we needed a photographer who could photograph mixed couples well and get the lighting right. She was PERFECT for this. Neither one of us ever looks washed out, or to bright. Often Heather would move us or adjust us so we always had the best lighting. Every photo looked natural, and full of life. I could seriously sing her praises. She got my brother who has down-syndrome, and is slightly autistic to smile and laugh. She was able to get him to be excited to be in the photos. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Heather will make you feel relaxed and comfortable and will definitely capture the most amazing moments on your special day! She has so many wonderful ideas for photos! utiful pictures. I was impressed with the way she organized everyone and got through big family pictures quickly. She takes the time to make sure everyone looks nice and gives quick tips to help everyone find flattering but natural poses. She made taking the pictures of the wedding party efficient, relaxed and fun. After seeing the pictures a few weeks later I knew I wanted her to shoot our wedding. Working with her directly for our own wedding was a pleasure every step of the way. She was quick to respond to any emails and went above and beyond the role of photographer at times with her assistance planning our timeline for the day and giving her opinion about how different wedding venues would work from a photography perspective. She is just fun to have around and fits in very comfortably whether you are with your wedding party or family. She takes control of the larger groups without being harsh, short or rude in any way. She made us feel very comfortable and relaxed at both our engagement shoot and wedding. In the end we got so many great pictures we had a lot of trouble deciding which ones to print to put up on our wall. She is worth every penny and more. We would highly recommend her to anyone.

yourself the research and stress…seriously. IF she is available, hurry now and snag her up because she is an extremely rare gem in the photography (and wedding) industry. Now, I’ll elaborate You’re going to see a trend as you continue to read through Heather’s reviews…she is amazingly artistic, she is easy going, she makes you feel comfortable and at ease, she is very responsive and eager to help with timeline details (your wedding planning is likely not quite there yet but this will be a HUGE help down the road as your date nears), she has a contagiously energetic and fun personality, she is a photography ninja (I really liked that one because it perfectly describes her stealth like skills), etc.….you get the point. The list goes on and on and while it’s all 100% true, words cannot capture the full product of talent, personality, service, and professionalism that Heather delivers. She is simply awesome. My husband and I were adamant on making sure we had the best of the best of these three items for our wedding day: 1) photographer 2) DJ/music and 3) food/drink. These were the most important to us because they would also be important for our guests. With that said I researched MANY photographers and narrowed down the list to three for an “interview” (like I said, SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME ON RESEARCH, I already did it for you!). Simply put, it was no contest after our meeting together with Heather. If you still have any doubt or question in mind about booking Heather, just meet her for coffee or chat on the phone/Skype. You’ll soon understand what all the hype is about There are so many wonderful reviews that accurately describe all the magic that Heather is, so I’ll concluded by saying this. Having dabbled slightly in photography myself, I think there is a set of skills that make for an excellent photographer and Heather has them all – technical skill, artistic skill, people skill, and business skill. There are SO many photography businesses out there now, and many have only the technical and/or artistic skill(s). The true art of photography comes with the people skill – giving direction, making people feel at ease, capturing natural moments, etc. Then, the true art of making photography a business is professionalism, process, and customer service. It’s HARD to find all that wrapped up into one package, but Heather is it. She is truly one-of-a-kind!
