Heather and Ben were great to work with! For our engagement pictures, we wanted our dogs in a few pictures. Our dogs are not easy to photograph, but they pulled it off! They were...
really up for anything that we had planned for our wedding day, and helped make the day a lot less stressful. We chose a unique place to get pictures taken (Bull Falls Brewery), which was a new location to take pictures - and they rocked it! They really helped us make the most of the time that we had by doing things like getting pictures of the venue while we were eating lunch, took pictures of the rings/bouquet while we were having a beer at Bull Falls, etc. These touches really helped make the day less stressful and helped get great pictures! We love how both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures turned out! The photobook that came part of the package was a really nice touch. It’s high quality and goes great on coffee tables! Neither of us would consider ourselves to be very photo-friendly, but Heather and Ben helped coach us through the posed pictures and took a ton of great authentic pictures.
I have followed Heathers work for years and she and her husband were the first people we talked to when we picked our date. Both Heather and Ben are more than professional and so v...
ery helpful leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding. From helping my Dad and Husband tie their ties to carrying my Soda while I had to hold my dress to walk. They helped capture every moment of our wedding and all of our photos are absolutely stunning.
Heather and her husband Ben did a phenomenal job shooting our wedding day. They included an engagement session which helped us get to know them! They had such creative shot ideas f...
or our special day and were very nice, personable and laid back!
Heather and her husband Ben are such wonderful people and they are such a joy to work with. My husband and I first met Heather during our engagement session and we knew then that ...
we made the right choice for sure. Her approach to photography is fun, innovative, creative, and above all professional. She is so approachable and open to suggestions. For example: if you would like to do something that is uniquely you as a couple she is all for making that shot happen. Rather than trying talk you out of it. The photos that she has taken of us are impeccable, me and my husband are not noted for being very photogenic and the last time we had our pictures "professionally" done you could see that they were photo shopped badly...:( it was disappointing because not only did we not look like us, we looked phony...
Heather on the other hand, not only managed to capture what we actually look like, (which for some reason most cameras don't) but we look incredible!!!
The other thing that was just so wonderful was that there are so many pictures that we didn't even know were taken. Just amazing little moments that we got to see for the first time and some that we didn't know they were present to capture but they did. *thank goodness!*
All of her photos just resonate beauty, no matter what it is. You will not be disappointed if you book her for your wedding. And on your wedding day you get not one but two photographers. Which to us, was an amazing deal! As they are both so talented!
We were guests at a wedding Heather Kessler Photography captured. It was so much fun working with them, and the photos they captured for the bride and groom are STUNNING!
Heather Kessler Photography was the best choice we made for our wedding, other than getting married. Years down the road we still get compliments about our photos!
Heather Kessler photography is absolutely amazing! They recently photographed my wedding which had a very large wedding party fairly wild also! I was worried that we wouldn't get ...
pictures done timely because of the large group Heather handled the group like a charm! The previews that I've seen so far are amazing! They drove about 2 1/2 hours to get to our location and even thought of scouting out picture locations prior to the wedding! All I can say is thank U thank U thank U!
My wedding was on the hottest day of the summer and Heather never missed a beat. She captured more than I could have asked for. I recommend her to everybody!
I looked for months and months to find a photographer not only that we would feel comfortable with but that had our artistic vision in mind. We have booked Heather Kessler Photogr...
aphy for our up coming wedding in August 2015 and have already had our engagement session. The photos were not only stunning but really showed the true emotion that me and my fiance have for each other. Family and friends just went crazy over our photos and they tell me almost on a daily basis that our photos are amazing and you can just see how much we love each other in each one. Heather and her Husband Ben made it really easy to be our selves around each other in order to get those special shots. We are so looking forward to working with them again at the Wedding and can't even image how amazing they are going to turn out after how satisfied we were with our engagement session.
Heather Kessler Photography is amazing! Her and her husband work together to give you a great day! They were professional and fun and helped make our day amazing!

e wanted her! She was soooo personable, friendly, and helpful! She even had my husband excited about pictures! From our engagement pictures to the wedding day, she was just awesome! She made us feel so comfortable and it reflected in our photos. Her husband Ben was great too!! Her eye for capturing images is extraordinary! She made it fun and exciting for the whole bridal party too! They said it was the most fun they ever had taking pictures (that was the guys!)I didn't even have to really ever tell her what poses made us comfortable or what we like because she already knew! I got my pictures back...800 some photos and every single one is PERFECT, there is not a single picture I dont like! I strongly recommend Heather Kessler Photography you not only get a great photographer you also get a great friend!

laughs, and moments of our wedding and we are happy to have those pictures to remember for a lifetime. Not only are they talented photographers, they will put you at ease and make it feel very natural to be photographed. ant things to me during wedding planning because photos are truly only one of the only things that will last past your wedding day. My husband and I were SOOO impressed and pleased with Heather Kessler Photography and would not have chose anyone else. She was completely professional, yet treated us as friends. One of the biggest things I remember about her during my wedding day was while I was getting ready before the ceremony. Guests kept coming unexpectedly into the room where my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. The venue where we were at unfortunately made this possible and as a bride, you don't want many people to see you until you're all ready! Anyways, Heather made it a point to kindly and respectfully point guests in a different direction. I was so thankful for this because she was trying to help keep my stress as low as possible. Not only was she a photographer, but she was a friend who understood all of the emotions that come on your wedding day. I would recommend Heather Kessler Photography to anyone and everyone!!
Heather Kessler Photography is amazing! From they day I met with Heather at a coffee shop a year and half before my wedding, I knew I was getting more than just a photographer. Hea...
ther has been so great to us! The photos taken at our wedding were beautiful and people continue to comment on what a fantastic job her and her husband had done. Many of my friends chose Heather Kessler Photography for their own wedding after seeing how pleased my husband and I were. On the actual wedding day, Heather and Ben kept everyone so calm and was huge help in every step of the day. I felt like she was my wedding planner too. She has so much experience, she was able to help with everything! Since our wedding, we have created a friendship. I highly recommend Heather to all of my friends and they all have been just as pleased as we were. We will continue to turn to Heather for all our photography needs!

le to capture memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. Our photos were not only breathtakingly beautiful but she also takes the time to package her photos in an elegant and beautiful way. Heather has an amazing ability to capture every emotion in a photo...she doesn't just take photos she truly creates memories!
In fact she is so amazing that my husband and I have kept coming back for her to capture our maternity photos and baby photos. She is not only a photographer but we now think of her as a friend!
I promise that you won't regret booking Heather!
My wedding day, like many, was exceptional. I'd go back and relive it in a heartbeat. And I do relive it. When I look at the walls in my home, I relive it. When I see my husband's ...
beaming face, I relive it. I remember that day thanks to Heather and her amazing ability to capture the most important parts. I remember Heather and her husband, Ben's ability to make us laugh and feel comfortable during the traditional wedding poses and how they blended into the surroundings as the celebration continued. They captured many unposed photos that my husband and I treasure greatly. I remember Heather's dedication to getting our photos to us quickly. It seemed to be two or three weeks, once we received the images. That was much faster than I was expecting! I am so thankful to have found Heather Kessler Photography to be a huge part of our wedding and consequently, a part of our lives. Heather has photographed our family as it grows, she is a skilled family, maternity and newborn photographer as well! If you choose Heather Kessler Photography to shoot your wedding, or your life, you won't be disappointed!

d her husband both come and take pictures, they were able to capture every special moment. Ben took photos of the men getting ready and Heather took photos of us getting ready. They were both with us all day so we had different angles of every aspect of the day. They are outstanding photographers and people. They were so amazing that we also chose them for our maternity and family pictures. We will never go with anyone else for pictures again!

a while I knew she would be able to capture that, and we are SO happy we chose her to share in our day. She was able to freeze not only every moment of our day but the emotion that we felt on that day. Heather is extremely professional and helpful, and also a genuinely wonderful person! I could not ask for more beautiful photos to look back at for decades and remember every moment of our perfect day. We HIGHLY recommend Heather to be the one to capture your special day! :)

ot weddings as well. She worked with us to make a custom package that we could afford and get what we needed. The photos are very vibrant in color and clear, however we were a little disappointed to not see very many unique, artistic, creative shots from a different viewpoint. What you saw at the wedding is what you got. However, we were happy that she worked with us off our shot list and we have photos with all our family members and friends to cherish forever. We received them quickly after the wedding also. She did a good job and we are happy to have the photos of our big day.

ur wedding date based on her availability! I was so impressed with her work and she lived up to all expectations! She and her husband were so professional yet so fun and flexible; I would begin to explain a shot that I wanted, and I didn't even have to finish my thoughts because she knew exactly what I wanted. They captured amazing moments from our wedding that I would have otherwise forgotten. I would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride!

lear to us when she was prompt with returning emails in regards to questions I had and I hadnt heard from other photographers in weeks. She made our choice easy!
Our wedding day went by super fast. Heather and Ben were able to capture every moment with their team technique. Ben met up with my husband and his groomsmen and Heather met up with myself and my bridesmaids in the early hours of our wedding day. She fit right in and everyone felt comfortable around her, same goes for Ben! This allowed them to capture every single detail and angle of our wedding morning, ceremony, post ceremony pictures, and reception!
GET THE PHOTO BOOTH!!! :) So much fun and the guest will absolutely love it! Worth every penny!
Your wedding day goes by fast, all you have are your pictures and memories the next day~ make sure to make Heather Kessler Photography your vendor of choice when making such a big decision!

was recommended to me by another local photographer and I am SO incredibly glad that I got in touch with her. Starting with a fun and laid back engagement session, my soon-to-be-husband and I knew that our wedding photographs were in very capable and talented hands! Heather and her husband Ben were fantastic to work. They were great about offering ideas and photo opportunities and listened to our photography needs and wants. We love our wedding photos and couldn’t be happier that we chose Heather Kessler photography. Every special moment and detail of our wedding day was captured on film. We would recommend Heather and Ben to any bride and groom!!!

pictures were what you would have left from you day after all is said and done (well besides each other), I knew that I wanted the best! After several failed attempts at hiring a photographer I stumbled upon, Heather Kessler when looking online. She just so happened to be in the area that I was living at the time so I set my appointment to meet with her! She was amazing right from the start! Very professional in her marketing and photo packages. I knew she was "the one"! Before our day, I was very happy with the response to all my emails and answering all my many questions at our meetings! Come the day of, we worked with both her and her husband, who also works with her day of. By the end of the day, they both became part of our friends network! They were awesome to work with and did anything that you wanted them to do! When we started to get some sneak peaks of our pictures, again I couldn't have been happier. idn't even know were existing! Heather's heart goes into her work and it is notice and appreciated. I love my wedding more and more every time I look back on my photos and the memories they capture of our day! I work in the wedding industry and see many photographers come in and out of our venue and often wonder what Heather & Ben could have done with the happy couple! Heather Kessler Photography was by far my best vendor, very professional while still being caring and genuine. You would not be disappointed if you went with them! They even got my husband to be in love with the photos... and you know how men can be!
I love all of her photos! Even though my wedding day has long since passed, I still enjoy going to her blog and looking at all the recent photos. My wedding was in two cities, Ma...
dison and Stevens Point. She traveled to Madison for our morning ceremony, and then back to Stevens Point for our evening reception...all for no extra charge! The pictures of our wedding day have gotten more comments than any other aspect of our wedding. I am so glad that she took our wedding photos. It was the biggest day of my life, and I am so happy that I have amazing photos to preserve it!
Update: Four years have passed since my wedding, and Heather has become more than our photographer. She has now taken maternity pictures for us (twice), and has documented our children's first years. I never dreamed that the photographer we chose for our wedding would continue to be in our lives for years. We are so happy with the photos, but even happier to have that relationship with her!!
