It was a big ask & Heather truly did her all to make it happen! The rest of the gallery was truly unreal. The photos are so unique compared to what I typically see from weddings. Most of our wedding was in the dark (November evening wedding) & Heather’s night photography was spot on. Night photography is incredibly difficult & we looked long & hard for someone with the skills to handle it & Heather delivered! I appreciated how organized she was from start to finish - from asking detailed questions in the lead up to the big day about what we wanted (and didn’t want) in our photos, to keeping everyone on schedule throughout the day. I did not have a day-of coordinator - I didn’t need one, but the day wouldn’t have gone nearly as smoothly without Heather ensuring all of the photos we wanted to take absolutely got taken quickly and efficiently, before moving on to the next. I made it clear in our first phone call that I didn’t want to miss my entire happy hour because I had to take photos and Heather made sure we got tons of fantastic shots all over our venue and still got to attend about half of our happy hour. I got compliments from friends and family after the wedding about how organized and polite Heather was, and how she made it fun to take photos, without making it feel like a chore. It did take a bit longer than expected to get our wedding photos back, but Heather thanked us for our patience by giving us a few complimentary 8x10 prints. We received hundreds of photos and there’s truly not a bad one in the batch. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how on top of things and communicative her assistant Terri is. If I ever get the chance/opportunity to hire a professional photographer to document another part of my life, Heather will be the first one I call.

A couple of weeks before the wedding we spoke on the phone to discuss the wedding day time line. She really put my mind at ease. She was super thorough and made me feel so much less stressed. She works so hard and made everything go so smoothly. It was such a pleasure to work with her. I recently did another photo shoot with Heather. She does boudoir photo shoots with her company Many Crowns Boudoir. I thought it would be a fun experience and I would get to work with Heather again. It was such a great time I had so much fun! I am so happy I did it. I received the most beautiful photos just in time for Valentine’s Day. It’s a wonderful gift to give your spouse (or to yourself) for Valentine’s Day, anniversary, or any occasion. I cannot recommend it enough! I initially reached out to Heather two years before my wedding date, and we met for coffee to look at some of her portfolio and go over pricing. As soon as we left the coffee shop, my husband was adamant that we book get- and I was too! Talking to Heather felt like talking to an old friend. She is very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about her craft. She had great suggestions for our engagement shoot, including locations and outfit ideas. I had to move the initial date we were supposed to take our engagement phots because I had covid- Heather and Terri were SO understanding. We ended up taking our engagement pictures in Central Park and she got them back to us no more than two weeks later!! They were absolutely jaw-dropping and everything we had hoped for. We used one of the pictures to send out our save the dates and people we didn’t even know were complimenting it when they saw it on friends and family’s refrigerators. Fast forward to the wedding day, and Heather was amazing. She knew exactly what she was doing, worked so well with our videographer (that she had never worked with prior), and posed everybody so they looked their absolute best. She had such creative and fun ideas for our photos and some of them looks so editorial that they can just go right into a magazine. Her pricing is extremely fair for the quality of photos you receive from her. She listened to everything we asked for and went above and beyond. We received our photos within the contractual time, and I also love that they come in a digital format that is extremely easy to share with our family and friends. I feel like a photographer is such an important part of your wedding day because they capture the moments that last minute but you want to remember for a lifetime. Heather will not only ensure that she captures these photos, but her eye for detail will also make these photos so beautiful that you want to look at them every single day.

The day of the wedding Heather was amazing at giving direction and working with a large bridal party, including children, which has its own challenges. Multiple bridesmaids commented on how they loved that she gave everyone guidance as to what her plan was for the timeline so that people could be prepared to take pictures when needed. Her husband was amazing too and we were very grateful for all of the water he supplied on a hot August day. I would 100% book her again and advise anyone looking for a photographer to book with her. Heather and her team are very accommodating. She is by far the best vendor I have worked with for my wedding. The communication is amazing and Heather is so punctual. My husband and I fell in love with every shot Heather has done for our engagement and wedding photos. Something that stuck out to me during our engagement shoot is that Heather asked if we had a preferred angle and I had expressed that I am not photogenic and she did her best to give tips and position me herself. h amazing. I’ve seen other wedding photos and she by far gave THE MOST photos. Heather is nothing but caring and accommodating. At the point of my wedding (3 years after my initial date) I had issues with my venue and she helped make me feel so much better about getting married there knowing she was by my side. She would help me get photos when the venue didn’t want us to (and even got yelled at by staff) and still remained calm and collected. Heather had my back and anything I asked her during the wedding she was able to do. She helped me set up my whole wedding day timeline and was always available for phone calls. She even came to the venue with me a month before the wedding to figure out all the places we were going to take photos. She helped me feel so relaxed on the day and even when things went wrong, she was there to make it feel okay. Of course the photos look amazing, but Heather as a person is above and beyond and I believe that is necessary in a photographer as well as having gorgeous photos. BUT THE PHOTOS are something else as well. I will never stop looking at them and she helped make edits after the fact as well to certain ones. Heather never fails and makes sure to get every shot. Seriously the photos we got I feel like a model as well as my husband (which we are not!!). You will not be sorry if you book with Heather, you will be booking with an incredible person and photographer.
