Heather was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was approachable, kind, and knew exactly what she was doing. A joy to work with and so easy going. She got the best shots, made everyone feel so comfortable, and made me feel so beautiful. I didn't have many specific shots that I wanted so she just ran with her own creativity and the photos have come out AMAZING. She was very time efficient, took control when she needed to with gentleness, and most of all was super personable. I am so glad I went with her to take photos of one of the most important days of my life and I hope to have the opportunity to work with her again!

We chose Heather to capture our 50th Wedding Anniversary event, after getting a referral from another photographer. Best decision! She is dedicated, enthusiastic, creative and a pleasure to work with.

We hired Heather for our wedding and engagement photos. I have to say Heather was probably my favorite wedding vendor out of everyone! Her pictures are amazing but separate from that she's super cool and fun. Heather made us feel so comfortable on the day of the wedding and it was just really great having her around. And of course the quality of her work is top notch!

Heather is a huge part of what made my wedding day a success! She is so personable and easy to feel comfortable with. She wasn't just a photographer she became apart of the wedding, she became a friend. Taking pictures was a blast and she made it a fun experience. Plus the photos are AMAZING there is not one that I don't like. Having her there for engagments, bridal and the big day capturing the biggest steps in our lives was the best decision in the world. Heather is so patient and understanding! Our engagement pictures were phenomenal, we had such a blast that day and we were so comfortable. We all (including my mom) fell in love with her before we even went over her albums/work and that is so important to really get to know your photographer. Not only are her pictures amazing but she went above and beyond at my wedding to get just what we wanted. It was pouring down rain and the weather was so bad that day, she still arrived on time and was ready to rock n roll that morning and just brought all the positive vibes!! She stuck with us the entire day and got all the shots we wanted and more. Gallery was delivered and she helped us every step of the way to begin the process of getting our portraits ordered along with our other prints/book. I've never met one who is so down to earth and genuine! She loves what she does and it shows. I recommend her to any bride and groom!

Heather is AMAZING! I interviewed a few different photographers, and the minute I met Heather, I knew I wanted her to capture our wedding. She is so warm and friendly, and we instantly connected. Heather did our engagement and wedding photos and was incredible both times. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful wedding – she gave me a great week-of checklist and even recommended our hair/makeup artist! My husband and I are both a little shy, and Heather was so great about making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She helped us choose poses that felt very natural and relaxed and kept us laughing the whole time. Her second shooter Carolyn was also awesome. We ended up having so much fun taking photos with them! We haven’t gotten our wedding photos back yet, but the engagement photos turned out phenomenally. We took them at the Arboretum around sunset, and we got so many compliments from friends and family on how amazingly Heather captured the lighting and vibrancy of the day. I can’t wait to see how our wedding photos turned out! Heather is so talented and genuinely kind – you need to book her for your wedding! EDIT: Just got our wedding photos back, and they are stunning! Heather managed to perfectly capture the wide range of settings from our wedding day (indoor, outdoor, grand, intimate). The editing is great, and her veil-in-the-wind shots are unbelievably cool. All of our family members have commented on how lovely the photos are and how terrific Heather is. We cannot thank her enough!

Just got my wedding photos from Heather and they're absolutely amazing! For my last-minute re-planned covid micro-wedding, Heather herself wasn't able to be our photographer but assured me her assistant would do just as good of a job (while Heather herself would edit my photos). This ended up being the truth- My wedding day was outside in 100+ degrees and no clouds in site.... but Heather's assistant didn't care how much she had to sweat to get the best shots LOL! She also did a great job directing us and keeping us comfortable (we're a bit camera shy but she got some really fun/cool shots), and I really appreciate that they didn't mind driving between ceremony/reception sites- they really worked with us to make the day go as smooth as possible. I cannot recommend Heather and her team enough! Thank you so much!!

Heathers photos truly were above and beyond my expectations! The detailed shots and the amount of photos we received were amazing. She was extremely easy to work with and talk to and she knew exactly how to coach us through some perfect wedding poses. I definitely recommend Heather for a wedding/engagement photographer. Heather is AMAZING!!!!! I seriously could not have asked for a better photographer. Right off the bat at our consultation we clicked instantly, she has such a great personality and i really felt like I could be truly honest with her in exactly what i was looking for. I was so confident in my decision with picking her for my wedding. She took my bridal portraits and they were just perfect, she got TONS of photos. I appreciate that so much. She didnt rush, was very calm, made it fun and had great ideas. I had so many to choose from for my canvas for the wedding. The wedding finally came and she & her assistant were ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. They got pictures of every moment & every detail. She sent me about 6 previews 3 days later then the final pictures took about 3 months to get to me, i expected that & you cant rush perfection. :) When you get your photos back you will see why it takes so long.. She truly edits & filters EVERY photo and makes them 10 times more beautiful... There was not really one photo i didnt truly like (unless it was just cause i was blinking or something lol). There was around 2000 photos... and i loved all them! The best part, i get to download and keep all of them!!! I do wish there was a bit more photos of some of the other important people there, but i blame myself for that as i meant to mention i wanted certain photos with a few people, but the craziness that day got to me and i forgot! But I just cant thank Heather enough for capturing this day so beautifully. I cant wait for my next shoot with her!

W.O.W.......Heather is amazing. She went above and beyond to capture every detail of our wedding, engagements, and my bridals. She arrived at the venue early in the morning and stayed until we drove away that night. Her pictures are stunningly beautiful. She makes everything so easy and makes you feel beautiful and comfortable throughout the entire process. We felt like we had known her for years. We could not have ask for a better photographer. She is by far one of the best.

My husband and I had high expectations for our wedding photography and Heather did NOT disappoint. We could not be happier with the pictures that we got. On top of that, Heather has the kindest, most comforting personality. She really helped get me comfortable in front of the camera. We loved working with her on both our engagement pictures and on our wedding day. We will definitely be coming back for family portraits soon!

Not only did Heather shoot our wedding, but also our engagement photos and my bridal shoot. I could tell when we received our engagement photos within 2 days that she was something special. I was in complete awe of how easy she made the process, and how beautiful the photos looked! Our original wedding was scheduled in May 2020, and we had to postpone for several months due to COVID-19. Not only were we able to rebook her for a new date, we weren't charged any fees and she made the process so incredibly easy during a very rough time. I can't recommend Heather enough! She was amazing during our wedding day, extremely professional, yet very fun. We received our wedding gallery about 8 weeks later and we are in love with all of our photos! Heather has been amazing to work with throughout this past 1.5 years. She did our engagement photos, bridals, and wedding photos. Heather was extremely professional, and really easy to get ahold of. She was also so sweet and enjoyable to be around, which is important, because she is with you capturing some of the most special and memorable moments of your life. Also I have to say, the photos we received have all been so beautiful. The quality of her work is outstanding. We knew we didn’t have to stress about the photographs, because we trusted and knew that Heather was going to to make sure we got all the photos we needed, and do amazing job. P.S., another favorite thing about Heather is that she will take the lead and helped us with poses through out the process. All photos she took, both our wedding and our engagement session, were gorgeous, She truly captured every moment of our wedding and we had so much variety in the shots that we can’t pick a favorite! Heather is both an extremely talented photographer and very flexible vendor. She worked with us extensively to re-work our plans as they shifted constantly due to COVID-19. She was professional and an absolute joy to work with, and her turnaround times on the photos were very quick. She is affordable as well!! Heather was quick to respond when we first asked about her availability. We had a bunch of questions but she answered all of them and we were eager to book her for engagement photos. She is quick to point out spots that she thinks would make a great shot, takes the photo and moves on. When we got the photos back, both my fiancée and I loved them. Choosing our photographer for the wedding was one of the hardest decisions, but after meeting Heather and reading so many reviews I knew that I could trust her with our wedding day! Heather is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her. She carefully listened to my vision for my wedding and she made it come to fruition. She captured all the special details of my wedding, especially considering it was a blend of traditional Indian and American cultures. Hands down one of my best vendors for my wedding!

We looked through many photographer profiles and hired Heather because we liked her photography style and we're so happy we did! We booked her for our engagements, bridals, and wedding day(s) and love our photos! We brought our dog to a few of the sessions and Heather was patient and worked with us to get some great photos with him. On all occasions Heather was professional and punctual (if not early). She knew what shots she was looking for, but happily worked with us to get any photos we wanted. She is creative and very easy to talk to which helped us relax in front of the camera. We had wedding ceremonies in Houston and Dallas and Heather coordinated travel and rehearsal times with us and even did her research on our ceremony as it was her first Greek Orthodox experience (she's a pro). She has a lot of experience so all of our sessions were a breeze. She was with us through our wedding journey and at the end of it she is a friend. Seriously, hire Heather!

Heather Purvis and her team were great! Heather was easy to work with from the very start - took time to explain what we should be looking for in ANY wedding photographer and patiently answered all of questions. After deciding to go with her, she communicated clearly and regularly all the way up to and past our wedding day. She's been an asset in getting photos printed and continues to be easy to get a hold of almost an entire year after our wedding. When we need professional photographs again, Heather will be our first call.

I cannot say enough positive things about Heather. From the day we met I knew she would be the perfect match for us. She did our Engagements, Bridals, Boudoir and of course our wedding. She always went above and beyond for everything! Whether it was finding my shoes to making sure everyones hair/ body positions looked good with the lighting and having such a creative eye when it came to our photos. EVERYONE loved her attitude and motivation! She was always on time, communication was always easy and quick and she always shared the photos in a timely manner. I feel like I have gained a great friend throughout this process and will forever use Heather for all of my photography needs! Heather did an extraordinary job capturing all of the special moments of our special day!
