I had previously booked Heather to officiate my wedding. I have since terminated our booking (she didn’t have me sign a contract FYI). She initially got my wedding year wrong and r...
eached out to me a few days prior to the date she had written down, which doesn’t seem like good planning on her part. I’ve attempted to contact her on 5 different occasions only to have every single email not responded to. I eventually decided to text her to see if there was a better way for us to communicate, only for her to leave me on read and to this date not follow up. Do yourself a favor and find someone who actually cares.
A beautifully written ceremony
Heather officiated our wedding and the ceremony content was absolutely beautifully written. We have family members and friends who speak Spanish, so ...
she delivered parts of the ceremony in both English and Spanish. Heather listened to our desires for the ceremony and was very responsive throughout the planning process. She also drove all the way to Acadia for our wedding! I recommend her as your officiant if you want a thoughtfully written wedding ceremony from a very kind soul.
Heather was such a pleasure to work with. Not only was she so creative and sweet, she personalized and helped with so many details!
Heather was absolutely wonderful! She wrote the perfect ceremony. My husband and I absolutely loved it! It perfectly described our love for each other and was so magical. Thank you...

mails, texts, calls or FT or eventually does days or weeks later. One star is one too many. There are some wonderful officiants out there…keep scrolling. I am only writing this so others in a similar situation do not have to endure this in what is suppose to be their special journey.

From the very beginning, she showed interest in who we were as a couple and was able to craft a personal ceremony. In fact, a few guests came up to us afterward and ask if we were close friends -- that's how tailored her ceremony was!
And if that wasn't enough to convince you, Heather was willing to stand with us in the POURING rain so we could have our ceremony outside as we had envisioned.
So happy we were able to work with her!
Heather wrote an amazing ceremony somehow without ever meeting us in person. She was able to take the details of our relationship and preferences and craft a beautiful speech about...
our union. I appreciated that she also gave us the chance to read a draft and suggest any edits. She also helped incorporate knot- tying into our ceremony. I was a little hesitant to hire someone off the internet, but working with Heather Rose really worked out for us. Thank you Heather!

She took care of everything on the back end, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She was able to make our ceremony so personalized and it was everything we could’ve wanted and more. Heather has such a kind aura and will be sure to make your day so special!!

ive. She helped us navigate the marriage license process as well as put some of planning jitters at ease. Our guests continued to compliment the sweet (and brief by our request) ceremony. A few friends even asking for her contact info for future weddings. She tied in personal touches & truly made us feel so special on our day. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone & could not imagine our wedding day without her!

THANKS AGAIN HEATHER!!! :)
Heather, Thank you so much!! So many of our guests complimented our ceremony and mentioned how great you were! You really helped make our wedding day special.
Absolutely Loved Her!!
Where do I start! When we started looking for an Officiant in Maine we had no idea where to start being from Conneticut. I came on WeddingWire and contacted ...
a few people, no one seemed to be the right person. Then Heather Rose responded with such an amazingly sweet email asking how we were doing with our plans, introduced herself and never mentioned anything about money or travel cost in that first introduction. It was such a happy tone that came through in her email. So friendly, warm and welcoming. We knew right away that she was who we want to marry us. After talking with her further we couldn’t have been happier with our decision! Our wedding ceremony was straight from the heart, she wrote a ceremony that described our love to a tee! The beautiful tone of her voice was perfect, her scent of humor was great, we laughed, we cried, we had the best day of our lives and Heather Rose put it all down in words. We wrote our own vows, but we’re too emotional to read them, so Heather read them for us, so eloquently, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Heather Rose even drove an hour each way for our rehearsal that only lasted 15 minutes. There aren’t enough words to describe how much we appreciated her for all her time she put into our wedding ceremony and stuck with us during all of our date changes and uncertainty during this crazy time.
Heather is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for us. We are so happy with how beautiful our ceremony was, thanks to Heather.
We are so impressed with her attention to ...

g make it "our" day. She took the time to get to know us and our story, was flexible to accommodate our preferences for the ceremony and took the time to check in to make sure we were happy with the way things were progressing during the preparation. We would wholeheartedly recommend Heather to any couple who are looking for an officiant who takes a genuine interest in sharing their vision of their big day.

ughout a whole year to be able to capture our life’s and personal status to create the perfect wedding ceremony and mention the perfect words. It was incredible amazing having her as our officiant and we couldn’t of chosen better. From the moment we spoke to her the first time through Skype till the big day she was amazing and professional in every aspect. Heather was very accommodating, punctual, cordial, helpful, enthusiastic, and exact! I would highly recommend her officiant services! Many of our guests including our parents told ...
us that they liked our Justice of the Peace. She made a customized ceremony just for us based on our preferences and highly encouraged us to add or change anything. And she did all of this without much time because we contacted her so close to our wedding date!
We hired Heather 2 months before our wedding and she was fantastic to work with. Initially, we didn't know how we wanted our ceremony conducted but knew we wanted something simple,...
short (less than 30 minutes) with traditional vows. Heather sent us 2 different scripts we can choose from: a more traditional structured service with traditional vows and (the one we chose) a customized one with the traditional vows. Her replies were prompt (replies between 1-2 day) and professional yet personable. During the service, she spoke clearly (i.e. enunciated words, didn't drift off into mumbles, etc.) and with a great pace it didn't feel too rushed or slow. Our guests complimented on the service and how well it was executed. Heather was phenomenal to work with.
Heather was amazing! We realized less than a month before our wedding that we had not successfully booked our officiant. We were panicking. But Heather came to the rescue. She has ...
the most beautiful soothing voice. Our guests described her as an angel! Heather was very flexible and patient with us. We weren't able to get Heather our ceremony script until a couple hours before the wedding but that didn't throw Heather off one bit. Heather was the perfect officiant and we were so lucky to have her.

e got married out of state (in Maine) & planning a wedding, being so far away, was no easy task! But after doing some research & many email correspondences to various places, we finally found Heather!
Heather was promtly responsive, helpful through the various stages of our planning, checked in "just because", arrived early the day of, was very patient, a cheerful presence and fit right in with us all.
Although she was hundreds of miles away, her ability to collaborate, made us feel as though she was right here with us.
The ceremony flowed beautifully & we felt so honored to her as our Officiant.
Heather, thanks again for all you did!!!

ceremony. She catered to our personalities and was always quick to respond. Guests have been reaching out to us to tell us that they had never experienced a ceremony like ours and that it fit us perfectly. Thank you, Heather, for being a part of our special day and making sure it was unique to us. You're the best!
Heather Rose did a fantastic job as our wedding officiant. We wanted a short and simple ceremony and she did just that but also made sure it was still personal and romantic. All of...
our guests enjoyed the ceremony and there was not a dry eye in the room. Heather worked with me on creating the perfect ceremony readings and vows. She was always willing to change anything I asked so we could together create the perfect ceremony. She traveled to Portland for our wedding but the night before we did a FaceTime rehearsal which was somewhat difficult without having her there in person, but also worked out quite well in the end. We chose this option to spare ourselves the travel fee.
I have acted as a stand-in witness for Heather on more than one occasion & each time have been duly impressed with the care, consideration and time that she takes to make each cere...
