Our wedding photos are beyond stunning, our guests are still raving about the incredible shots, and we are so happy that we chose Heather due to her professionalism and experience. We had seen her portfolio beforehand and knew that we loved her style and work, but there are many ways in which she completely exceeded our expectations: 1. Heather was easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. We had multiple phone calls before even meeting when she listened to our wants and prepared diligently to make them happen! 2. We decided to add a second photographer to our package, and Heather did all the research herself to narrow down options for who she thought would be the best fit for us. She brought these options to us and made the process very easy to select a second shooter which we greatly appreciated! The second shooter did a fantastic job and we were so happy to have them both part of our team! 3. Heather really saved the day on our wedding day by arriving earlier than planned to get some details shots. By doing so, she realized that we had completely forgotten to bring my veil to the venue! Had Heather not arrived early and taken the time to get these shots, we would have realized the mistake too late. We are so thankful for Heather's professionalism and attention to detail! 4. Heather has excellent judgment and an eye for taking advantage of key moments. There were moments throughout our wedding day when we had not planned any photo shoots, but Heather recognized an opportunity and managed to pull us aside for enough time to get gorgeous photos but not so much time that it took away from spending time with our guests. "It's up to you but I think you'll regret not taking a few photos here" - and no surprise, she was completely right! They turned out to be some of our favorites! 5. Inevitably some parts of the day became a bit hectic, particularly as we navigated an Indian fusion wedding, and we were dealing with extreme heat and humidity on the days of our events. We appreciated how Heather used her experience, professionalism, and knowledge to give us solid recommendations that we hadn't thought of, while still respecting our boundaries and wishes and always making sure we felt comfortable! 6. Finally, Heather turned around Sneak Peaks way sooner than expected!!! This was the best surprise! She also provided the full galleries within the time committed to in the contract, further demonstrating her professionalism. The photos were even better than we imagined and we will cherish them forever! Needless to say, we are thrilled to recommend Heather Wise and can't imagine trusting anyone else with these memories.

We had a big multi lingual family she had to direct ant our wedding, and while we haven’t seen the wedding photos, we know they are gonna be great!! Heathers team knows how to work to get stuff done and she was an important collaborator in creating our run of show. When random issues occurred like a staff cutting themselves and bleeding on the floor by our cake before cake cutting pics, Heather jumped into action to help us restage the shot. She was professional and punctual, and while I was initially nervous to book out of town vendors, I never felt I had to worry about her not showing up to our wedding. Her and her second photographer were great on our wedding day and she really understood our desire for efficient photos so that we could enjoy our guests. She worked her magic in the background and got great photos of us, our venue, and our guests!

And for my wedding, the weather was unfortunately not on our side but all of my photos were amazing! I was worried about the lighting as everything was so dark and gray outside but those outdoor photos were absolutely beautiful and some of my favorites.

hey needed to be during the pictures and also made sure we got all the shots we wanted. She was amazing about maximizing time and walked us through the best poses for each picture. Not only were our photos better than I could have ever hoped for but she got them back to us so quickly. We were able to look over our pictures together on our honeymoon! I have so many pictures to choose from and they’re all perfect. I’m so glad that we had Heather and her assistant there to capture our special day. I would HIGHLY recommend using Heather as your wedding photographer and if we ever need any professional pictures in the future we know who we’re going to!

hotos immediately and she did it in a manner that was so casual and professional. Being her first time at the venue too was cool to see her create excellent photo opportunities for us and our families and friends on a whim. She even sent us some cool photo sneak peeks the next morning!

'm so glad I found her! She offers standard packages that are priced very competitively. Heather shout our engagement pics (downtown Austin at sunset) and our wedding day photos (Greenhouse at Driftwood), which she posted on her Facebook page so you can see. We LOVE how they turned out! Great quality but also a high quantity of photos for us to choose from. We get compliments all the time. My husband and I expected the process to be super awkward, and ended up having a lot of fun with each shoot. Heather made us feel very comfortable, yet gave easy-to-follow direction as to how to pose. She was great about incorporating specific locations and angles based on other photo shoots I'd seen (I sent these to her in advance so she could get a sense of our style and plan accordingly). She also let us include our dog (80lb golden retriever) in some of our photos both times, and was super patient with him. On the day of our wedding, she had a second photographer with her (whose name I sadly forgot). Both of them were incredibly kind, laidback yet professional, and genuinely happy to be there with us. At the time Heather was also teaching full time. Understandably she wouldn't respond immediately, but was overall responsive within a day or 2, which worked great for us. She was also able to get our full gallery to us within a few weeks, and even sent us a few initial photos within a few day! There was zero fear that I wouldn't get them or not hear from her again. I'd highly recommend Heather. I'll definitely use her services again for future photo shoots!
