Heatherly Event & Floral Design is a wedding florist based in Charlotte, NC. No, we don't have minimums. Yes, we can repurpose florals. Yes, we have a team and a temp-controlled studio. And yes, you can lock in your market rates without risking a price hike closer to your wedding date (even those due to tariffs). Our full-service floral packages offer nature-inspired, ethereal designs, eco-friendly methods, and locally sourced blooms. For couples who are looking for a floral designer who can maximize their floral budget without compromising overall quality and style. Heads Carolina, Tails California: In 2018, we moved to NC from California, where our weekly trips to the lush LA flower marts, designing celebrity parties, and creating trend-forward designs were both educational and inspiring. We've brought that Cali-vibe back to our Carolina roots, and we're loving every minute of it! We know we may not be for everyone or every budget, but we are confident that if we do end up working together, you will be pleased with what we create for you because our number one goal is to get to know you so that we may create with you in mind. This is your wedding, and it is our job to build out your vision (or help you create one if you don't even know where to start). We offer an ethereal, bohemian design, and while we focus in detail on your preferences and aesthetics, we find that our happiest clients hire us because they like and value our past work, which you can see here, on our website, and on Instagram. We will custom-design your wedding with you in mind and are confident that if you trust us as your floral artist, you will get the absolute most out of your experience AND your budget. As a general rule (some exceptions may apply), we do not combine our work with faux florals, DIY projects, or additional florists (whether professional or hobbyist). Please plan to do all your florals and greenery with us. Please write us a message including your budget (we recommend at least $3k for wedding sizes over 100 guests) so that we can truly understand your needs and goals. BONUS: We have a background in full-service planning and design, so for us, it's not JUST about your flowers but rather your wedding planning experience as a whole and making sure that your flowers work seamlessly into that plan. (And, if you're interested, we offer a variety of planning, coordination, and design packages to combine with your floral experience. Though not required, our clients, on average, save $400 when combining both services.

As my CA company grew, I experimented with flowers and truly fell in love with being a florist. I am passionate about my clients! Your story is important to me and I'm here to serve, truly! I also enjoy the great outdoors. I spend my spare seconds surfing, skiing and hiking with my boys. Now I'm back in Charlotte, which I absolutely love. When I received my bridal bouquet, it was delivered to me by my Mom who had secretly arranged for the Heatherly team to add fabric and notions from her wedding dress to be tied around my bouquet. She gained respect quickly from our bridal party the day-of and ensured parents of the bride/groom were well taken care-of. Jaime and Heather brought such vision for the florals and paid special attention to the color selections. When our wedding plans changed, we asked Heather to do the impossible - plan and design a 150 person wedding in less than 2 months… without sacrificing anything we originally wanted. Little did we know, we hired Wonder Woman. Heather kept us on track, was responsive and decisive, provided amazing recommendations (best band ever!) and assembled an incredible team to create our perfect wedding. We were lucky enough to work with Dani for our planning and coordination. She is someone who takes charge of wrangling all of the details and vendors with grace. Dani confidently handled even some of the stickiest situations to execute on a flawless day. She quickly built trust with us and it was FUN to have her with me all day. I felt organized and at ease with Dani at the helm. Lastly, we had Heatherly for our florals & design as well. Heather and team knocked it out of the park. She is a master of her craft who took my loose ideas and brought them to life. I texted her at 10pm the night before the rehearsal asking for a Hail Mary dream scenario for florals and when I say she overdelivered, that would be an understatement. Heather’s medium is flowers and she is a true artist. We truly feel lucky they were willing to take on our project and go for the wild ride with us. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner!

d. Guests continue to comment on how bad it was weeks after. Not a single thing went right during the ceremony after 2 years of planning. The team was not prepared and I ended up having to direct our guests and fix things. Spent cocktail hour crying instead of taking photos with my husband. When we exchanged feedback, Instead of taking accountability, I was blamed for not filling out a single form despite being “the most organized bride to work with”. Heather may have the experience but her team fell short. I don’t look back on my wedding day with fond memories. It keeps me up at night!

way after they gave us such praise. :( It is unfortunate to focus on the negative and place such specific blame when the details involved other vendors and could have been avoided had the proper forms been completed (forms that are actually required by our contract). We can take accountability (which we did) while still pointing out where and how such easily avoidable errors may have occurred. We were so thrilled to be able to recreate and photograph the omitted ceremony element during cocktail - that's quick action on the part of my team for which I am proud. We appreciate the floral praise and hope that leaving this review has given you the closure needed to shift focus to what was actually an incredibly beautiful day.

Heather and her team are the consummate experienced professionals, paying close attention to the 1 million details and ensuring nothing fell through the cracks and that I was staying on track with decisions that needed to be made. Heather was great at recommending alternatives to save money while ensuring I was still providing the type of guest experience I was looking for. WHY YOU NEED TO HIRE AN EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL - Hurricane Ian caused an unanticipated variable the week leading up to the wedding, but Heather and the team flawlessly planned to ensure no matter the weather situation, we had a solid plan in place that would ensure the best experience possible. I was so thankful to have them...and I know they were working around the clock to ensure we were prepared, no matter the scenario. We got to have our Plan A experience, and regardless of the potential for pivoting the week leading up, her team executed on my wedding day like they knew Plan A was going to happen the entire time. They are consummate professionals that you WANT when unanticipated stressors (like hurricanes!) pop up. The flowers. THE FLOWERS..beyond all expectations and the most beautiful I have ever seen. Heather listened to what I was looking for and created an alter design, bouquets, and table arrangements beyond anything I could have hoped for. I received so many compliments and still dream about the coffee-colored roses and tulips. I would give the floral design 5 stars on its own. The final product was stunning and looked like it was out of a magazine, seriously our wedding flowers were gorgeous! I cannot express how incredible Heather and her team are. It rained most of our wedding day, but her team stayed out in the rain to make sure our wedding arch was decorated to perfection. And it was perfect! Luckily, the sun broke through and we were able to be married outside under our gorgeous arch. Everyone raved about our flowers and I cannot recommend Heather more highly! Hire her, and you will not be disappointed!

Within a week I knew we had made the best decision of our entire planning process. Everyone from our parents, to our entire bridal party commented on how amazing Heather was. I truly don't have the words to express how grateful and appreciative we are for the work Heather put into our wedding...from the planning down to the incredible floral design she put together. From last minute floral changes to rain plan discussions Heather was there 110% making sure our day went perfectly. On-site the day of the wedding, she was a Queen in her element. I would choose Heather all over again without hesitation!! I wasn't sure if my floral vision had been done before. And if it had, I couldn't find pictures to show what I could see...

in my head! But Heather took all the pictures I did send her and mixed elements perfectly! Her work was better than anything I had ever imagined, all while fitting in our budget! She was so flexible in adding and changing elements even up to a week before our wedding, and she did so without complaint and always with excitement! Heather is the type of florists who makes you enjoy the small details!

On the days of the rehearsal dinner and wedding, all my concerns were proven unfounded. Heather went above and beyond and created a floral wonderland. I don’t know how she did it and within budget. She was so helpful, even jumping in to help place favors at each place setting. She was such a calming and caring presence and confidently and quietly worked tirelessly in the background. All of the guests commented on the flowers and decor. Her knowledge of flowers, color and season availability, durability, etc. was amazing. I would highly recommend Heather for any event and know that I will, without a doubt, recommend her to all my friends and family. I am sure I will use her again for an event in the future.

bouquets and boutonnières perfectly complemented the wedding attire. Our venue had a cool archway that I asked Heather to help decorate and we had guests lined up throughout the night getting pictures with Heather's gorgeous flowers. She was so responsive and paid immense attention to each and every little detail. It was so reassuring to know I had nothing to worry about on the big day and that Heather would make everything look absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend using Heather as your wedding day florist!!

beyond what I envisioned! They played up our romantic, dreamy theme perfectly and were just so soft and lovely. The trailing ribbons she added were the perfect touch. My husband and I kept saying that whoever was holding the bouquet for the photos instantly looked better ;) Also, Heather thought of absolutely everything. She made 3 boutonnieres for my husband so he could pick which one he liked best and also have backups for later in the day because bouts often get squished during first look pictures. I never would have thought of that, but it was SO nice that Heather did! She is so professional and talented and I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Not to mention that she and her team are the sweetest! Can't say enough good things!!
