Heather's Flowers

Heather was so easy to work with. She understood and respected my vision and ideas. She was the first florist to not tell me no on hydrangeas because it was the end of the season. She told me how we could use them as they are drying. They turned out beautiful and I was thrilled. I was also pleased that she was flexible and patient with me changing my ideas and requests. She managed to do an amazing job with all our flowers and decor, all while staying under our budget. My wedding coordinator and event staff all loved working with her and her staff. I would highly recommend their services!

Heather did a wonderful job with my bouquet, the boutonnieres, corsages and the reception flowers. She added some flare to my bouquet by using beads and jewelry...very nice! I had bought Purdue U. lapel pins to be used in the boutonnieres and she did a great job with those. The reception flowers were absolutely gorgeous! Very contemporary in look and they received lots of compliments!

Before selecting Heather as my florist, I talked to several other brides who had used her for their wedding and loved her. Unfortunately, the flowers were the worst part of my wedding. First of all, I met with Heather on two separate occasions. The first time was to receive a quote. With her quote she gave me a range of prices for each item. At the second meeting I told her what I wanted to spend on each item based on the prices given. Nothing had changed as far as the flowers went between the two meetings. On my wedding day, my centerpieces for the reception cost double what I had paid because she had to get them from a different supplier. She didn't even call me when she ordered them to discuss this. But what were most disappointing were the bouquets. The bouquets were COMPLETELY wrong! My bouquet cost twice as much as my Matron of honor's bouquet and we could not even tell the difference between the two. They were the same size! I had asked that my bouquet be all purple with small white stephanotis. It was almost completely white with just a hint of purple! I called Heather to see if there was a mix up with another wedding. During this conversation, she called me the wrong name not once, but TWICE. She mentioned that I had changed my mind several times (I never once changed my mind). She did come back to the church and add more purple to my bouquet, but refused to fix the bridesmaids bouquets. My bouquet along with the bridesmaids’ bouquets had green stems with dead flowers sticking out of them. The dead/wilted flowers were falling out everywhere when our pictures were being taken! The Monday after the wedding the sign on her door stated "3 weddings on Saturday= Closed on Monday". It seemed as though she could not handle 3 weddings on the same day. She did not get my flowers right, and by the way they were wilted and dying; they must have been put together days before the wedding! Very disappointing!

I love my flowers! The colors matched perfectly with my colors! I chose flowers that would stand out and they did! It was a great price for how many flowers I had!
