Pleasantly Pleased!! From the first contact with Staci to viewing the venue, we knew this was the place for our special day. The grounds are Amazing and was perfect for our outdoor wedding vision under the tent and the reception just a few steps away, just what we had in mind. The whole staff were on point for the day, from helping with decorating to driving us around to preparing an elegant meal-get the green beans and mashed potatos Lol! I can't thank everyone enough for making sure our day was just as we planned. Staci was amazing in helping me plan things to a T.

My wife found this venue for our wedding somehow and it saved us! They are easy to work with and will accommodate your needs to fit your budget while ensuring that your event is still as beautiful as it should be. I was deeply impressed, coming from the industry, with the food and so were all of our guests. Well above par! The team made sure everything went smoothly and were there to keep me grounded when I was prone to stress out. Very, very grateful.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous, especially for the price! Because of COVID we ended up only having 45 guests instead of the original 150, which Heatherwoode staff were very accommodating for. The food was absolutely amazing as well. Jason (food coordinator) and the chef were absolutely amazing to work with! However, there were a lot of communication errors on their side. It felt as if the coordinator didn’t work / plan on our wedding until a week prior, and was also not very communicative (not responding quickly to emails or calls). She is an extremely nice person and was very helpful in difficult situations when we did meet and talk! I love that we are able to take photos on the golf course because those turned out amazing! We even got to ride the golf carts to help us get places faster. The women’s bathroom is also really great for getting ready and looks fantastic for photos too!

Heatherwoode is so amazing... The coordinators are so helpful and always reply in a timely manner, the food is out of this world, and the space this place has to accommodate guests is awesome. Having a wedding in fall made for some very pretty scenery. A cigar patio is available for those interested, an upstairs and downstairs... Just tons of room!! The dressing rooms are gorgeous and make you feel like royalty. Staci was our coordinator and always knew what was going on. She was so kind. Highly recommend this place. The price was unbeatable for us.

My daughter had her wedding here in October and it was the perfect day! The new event coordinator, Staci, did a great job getting all of the information and details for the ceremony and reception in a timely manner. Everything was set according to the expectation we had and everything went off without issue! Jason and the banquet staff were amazing with the service they all provided. Everyone had what they needed and the food the chef prepared was just as we had hoped! It was just like it was in the tasting we had before the wedding. The outside space gave them amazing photos as well as under the tent on the pavilion where the ceremony was. So many guest were saying how great the food was and how pretty everything was. I cannot imagine the day being any better!

Heatherwoode made our day go so smoothly. What i found really cool is that with your rental fee, everything is included. its not a venue where you're paying$$ to just rent the space; our rental fee included tables, chairs, linens, drinking glasses, silverware & staff. We had our reception in the downstairs banquet hall & everything looked amazing! Jason & his staff decorated the room exactly to my requests from the centerpieces all the way down to the very last piece of candy on the desert bar. They pay attention to detail to make sure everything is exactly how you want. the food was AMAZING- 100% recommend Heatherwoode for any event that involves food because you will not be disappointed!! Chef Chris is incredible and really puts his all into making your food perfectly! And bride and groom photos out on the golf course...still SWOOONING over our pictures! The grounds staff kept the course in good shape all the way through October. Highly highly recommend Heatherwoode!!

The price for the service was phenomenal. The staff was amazing! Erica helped make everything perfect and didn’t even really need a wedding planner with her at our service! The wait staff, chef, bartenders were all amazing! Our guest raved about our food! I can’t even say how extraordinary this venue was!

After moving into Heatherwoode, we knew we wanted our reception close to home so we had no question we would choose Heatherwoode to host it. After the tasting I was a bit hesitant and concerned about the food choices. Erica did a great job at addressing my concern and anxiety about the situation and on the day of the event the food was excellent. The guests were raving about the food. The event was perfect for our intimate event with just family and friends. Heatherwoode was very accommodating to my wishes and I could not have been happier with how it turned out. Erica was very attentive and was always able to meet with me when I was unsure about something or just needed to talk. It is a very stressful time but looking back I am so happy how it turned out. Thank you Erica and Heatherwoode!

This venue is beautiful in the summer and perfect for a wedding reception! Erica, the Heatherwoode Event Coordinator, worked great with us from the very first meeting and was so helpful through the whole process. Every little detail was taken care of and even her recommendation for our DJ was the best! Also, The Heatherwoode Chef was awesome and our food was perfect! We got a tasting session as part of our package and it was amazing to try everything!

Heatherwoode was the perfect place for our anniversary dinner with our family & friends. We simply could not have been more pleased. From the time we started planning the event, to the actual dinner, everyone involved was most helpful & courteous. In particular, Erica was always available to answer any questions we might have. She was always reassuring, gracious, and timely in her responses. Heatherwoode Club House, of course, provided a gorgeous setting for our party. The dinner itself was delicious, with very generous servings and a beautiful presentation. The chef, Chris, is to be complimented as well as the servers (Cari, Jason) and the bartender. All ( I’m sure I missed someone) were very courteous & efficient & helped to make the evening so pleasant. We would most definitely recommend Heatherwoode for any special event.

Been using Heatherwoode for over 10 years for business meetings, golf outings and Company Parties. Staff always does a great job. The food and service is awesome!

Heatherwoode Golf Club is a superior wedding venue. Booking a wedding at this venue is such a great value. The food is amazing! In addition, the setting is so versatile to create a variety of looks and styles for whatever a Bride dreams. My pictures on the property turned out beautifully!

First rate service from planning to the wedding. We made a great decision to use Heatherwoode.

I am so happy that I chose Heatherwoode for my wedding. We had our ceremony on the top floor and the reception below in the bigger room in the basement. Erica, the event coordinator, was very helpful leading up to the wedding and on the day of. It was very cost effective compared to most of the other venues I looked at. The ladies room where we got ready was state of the art. The bartenders and staff were all very friendly. I am 100% confident that everyone who gets married here will not regret it.

Disappointed and strongly suggest looking elsewhere. As brides we spend months, years even planning the perfect wedding, and while things always go wrong, Heatherwoode will ensure everything goes wrong. - Event coordinator informed us a week before the wedding she wouldn't be there, but someone would be in her place, that was a lie, we showed up to our rehearsal time to locked doors, we weren't even able to practice our reception entrance. Day of, I had no venue point of contact until well after my first look and family pictures began, even then it was the catering manager. -my bridesmaids and I were treated very rudely when trying to figure out who, & where our point of contact for the day was in the coordinator's absence. -Scott, the Bartender trash talked me several times, several guests have come forward to me that he was making snide comments throughout the evening that could be overheard, or were said directly to my DJ. He berated one of the guests saying she clearly must not have a "real job" to wake up to if she wanted another drink (Sunday wedding) -The venue decided what was important to us and what was trash & disposable. SEVERAL items we had wished to keep were thrown away, - We purchased a keg, yet they pushed canned & bottled sales very hard, telling people the keg was already empty (less than 20 minutes into the reception) I had 58 people at my wedding including me, my husband and my vendors. about a dozen don't drink, there's no way a keg was drunk by 30 people in 90 minutes, not with the amount of canned beer I walked into people holding. - rather than spending the morning of my wedding with loved ones & my party, reflecting on my final moments as a single woman, I was left to point myself in my own direction & set up my own wedding, all things paid for in our contract. I cannot sway you away from the headache that is heatherwoode any stronger. I have a laundry list of poor experiences I am willing to share where I am not constrained by character count and more than willing to help couples make informed decisions about their big day. The last thing I want is for the same experience to repeat itself with someone else. This space is very lovely! Has a lot of great character. While I didn’t choose this space for my wedding due to my every growing guest list, I did want to praise Erica and the staff for being so kind and helpful in this fun stage of life. I will be recommending Heatherwoode to friends and family in the future!

We haven't had our wedding yet (May 2019) but I wanted to leave a note about what a pleasure it was to work with Erica during our research process! She is genuine, approachable, and extremely helpful. We felt like she gave us all of the information we needed without pressuring us into booking. She wants every couple to have the day of their dreams and it's very apparent how much she cares about you and your day! She is an asset to this venue.

I had my wedding at Heatherwoode Golf Club House on August 26th, 2017. It was all I could have imaged and more. The staff at Heatherwoode met every want and need I had. Erica Davenport (Event Coordinator) is theee sweetest and made an extra effort to make sure everything went smooth and my dream wedding come true. The venue is classy, has a beautiful view of the golf course, the food was amazing, the bartenders were hilarious and my pictures came out better than imagined. I would recommend any bride having their wedding/wedding reception here!

We had both the ceremony and reception at Heatherwoode. The food was AMAZING and the staff was friendly. The coordinator was very helpful throughout the wedding and the planning. They took care of cleanup and provided many amenities such as golf carts for pictures on the golf course which was gorgeous!

June 22nd, 2013! Best party I've ever thrown and a big thanks to Amy and the staff at Heatherwoode! My family and I met with Amy multiple times in a matter of a year to plan the perfect wedding reception and that's exactly what it became! She took care of all the behind the scenes work such as the chair ribbons, centerpiece set up, table numbers, guest book etc, and allowed me to stop by and make any last minute changes (I had none, it was perfect!) They also allowed the photographers and my husband and I to take golf carts on the course to take pictures! Thanks a lot Heatherwoode for keeping me stress free and giving us a night we'll never forget!

All of the staff at Heatherwoode went above and beyond to make my son and new daughter- in- law's wedding even more wonderful than we imagined. Everything was perfect! The ceremony was on the deck and the reception was in the adjacent room. The food was delicious and bountiful! The service was attentive and friendly! We received so many compliments! And, Amy...she is priceless! She had everything under control from the very beginning and has such a lovely personality! She is exactly the type of person you want taking care of you on your special day!

Heatherwoode Golf Club is a beautiful place for a wedding. Our wedding turned out perfect and the staff was great, especially the Events Coordinator Amy. She made sure everything turned out the way we wanted. I highly recommend.

I enjoyed our venue. It was a very comfortable space, just big enough for all of our guests. The wedding coordinator was fantastic to work with, but I felt like they underdelivered on a few things that they had promised us. Overall, it was a great experience.

It is somewhat difficult to rate my wedding venue without rating my overall eperience. As expected, I encountered several roadblocks on my big day! All of that aside, Heatherwoode did well to cater to my needs. The price was perfect for our budget, and the food surpassed our expectations. I was dissapointed in communication aspects, though. Where I thought my ceremony was going to be held, on the gorgous patio overlooking the course, ended up being used by a golf outting that had originally been canceled (which freed the date for us). We had less than one hour to set up our decorations on the day of the wedding, which was also hindered by the golf outting that occured at the same time. My only other disappointment was in the lack of opportunity for photos. Again, because of the golf outting, my wedding party and I were not provided with golf carts to use the greens with our photographer, after I was told they would be reserved for us. We were forced to cross through the golf course walking, sinking in our heels, and interupting many people's golf games, to take photos. There were however many positives about Heatherwoode - my wedding cake was catered and had been dropped as they were bringing it inside. One of the employees happened to be a cake baker and assisted with fixing the cake. Although the cake was nearly unfixable, they assisted with making one side appropriate enough for picures. For the price in the Dayton area, you cannot beat it! Our reception was served and the food was excellent. Minus communiction errors and bad planning, this is a beautiful place to host a wedding, with the recommmendation of knowing what you as far ahead as possible!

Heatherwoode is reasonably affordable and allows you to have both your ceremony and reception there. The staff was very flexible during the entire process and really gave helpful insights. Everything turned out beautifully with their help!!
