Of course, there’s a lot to plan before a wedding, but on the big day, I do all I can in my position to help my couples enjoy every moment and take it in. I am all about giving clients a high-quality, personal experience at an affordable price, and I am dedicated to both the process and the result. I aim to be an unobtrusive fly on the wall on your big day, and I go for a cinematic and documentary-style feel of your final product. Drone footage is included in all packages at no additional charge. Package options include a highlight video, full-feature video, ceremony recordings, rehearsal dinner filming, and more, all at an affordable price! Simply pick and choose from my brochure what you want, and I will work to deliver his best work every time. Heathland is also insured and drone licensed and registered with the FAA, so you can hire confidently.

was our experience with Hap. He's a talented storyteller who handles his subjects as graciously as he handles his cameras expertly. And that's important, because when it comes to your wedding, you need a lot more than a documentary filmmaker with National Geographic on their resume. Your big day is an exceptionally intimate space, and the kind of skills that work for nature documentaries or marketing videos just wont cut it. You need someone who's able to add to the joy of the celebration and use their camera with focused precision at the same time. At multiple junctures, Hap demonstrated a commitment to excellence while also displaying a deep respect and care for me and my bride. With everything else coming at you on your wedding day, that kind of gentle approach means the world (oh, and it just so happens to evoke the sweetest smiles). In the end, Hap's work blew us away. We're forever indebted to him for so beautifully immortalizing the greatest moment of our lives.

Hi! I am Hap, the founder and owner of Heathland Creative. I am an explorer and learner to my core. Discovery Channel, documentaries, books, podcasts, essays and thoughtful conversations have been a steady diet of mine for a long time due to the consistent fascination they deliver. One of my favorite parts of my job is the way it is grounded in this pattern of learning, listening, and discovering. I get to swim in the world of stories, people, and ideas as I work with each wedding client, synthesizing the beautiful moments I capture into videos that celebrate them as a couple.
