Welcome to Heavitree! Our ancestors came to our family farm in the mid-1600s from Heavitree, England, thus the name. Heavitree is the ideal venue for your small, private wedding. The Inn at Heavitree is an 18th-century tavern now operating as a wedding venue. With spacious rooms, grounds, and gardens, the options are endless. Why just have a wedding day? Why not have a wedding weekend? Let’s make this magical moment in your lives last throughout the entire weekend. Heavitree is the perfect venue for rehearsals, rehearsal dinners, guest accommodations, prep for the entire wedding party, endless photo opportunities, weddings, wedding receptions, and the grand finale: the wedding celebration brunch. Each step of your wedding weekend has a change of scenery and setup. We make your wedding an experience that you and your guests will find wonderful, magical, and like no other. Heavitree B&B has been a favorite getaway spot for us over the years, and we couldn’t have imagined a better place to host our wedding. Charlotte, the host, has always been wonderful, and her flexibility and support throughout the entire wedding planning process made everything so much easier. We booked the B&B for the entire weekend, using the beautiful lawn for our ceremony and the charming barn for the reception. Everything was perfect, and Charlotte’s attention to detail truly made our day special. Her personal touch and flexibility made it clear that she wasn’t just providing a venue; she was sharing in our joy and helping us create lasting memories. We’re so grateful for her hospitality and would highly recommend Heavitree B&B to anyone looking for a picturesque and welcoming venue.

My husband and I were married at the Heavitree in June, what an incredible place. Charlotte is amazing, and was happy to help with anything planning wise, as you hire in your own caterer for the space, and set up anything I could not. She was so amazingly friendly I can’t speak well enough of the help you will find in Charlotte. The bed n breakfast is an antique in itself as it boasts 1700 period friendly furniture and finishes. If you’re looking to have a smaller, more intimate wedding this is THE place. The carriage house was super spacious with a very nice indoor bathroom right off the dining area. With the barn doors open, the space is perfect and flows from dinner to dancing effortlessly. 10/10

If you want a storybook wedding with the most gracious of hostesses, look no further than Heavitree B&B. It is quintessential New England and possesses charm across every inch of the property. My guests and vendors said that it was the most beautiful place they had ever been to for a wedding. Charlotte tends to your every need.

When my fiancé and I started wedding planning, I somehow stumbled upon Heavitree. The photos on the website looked like they were out of a story book. I reached out via email & the owner Charlotte responded promptly. We scheduled a tour shortly after, and once we arrived, we knew Heavitree was where we wanted to get married. We didn’t even tour any other locations, this was it! Throughout the planning process, Charlotte was available for any and all questions we had. She supplies many items for your use which is included in the cost (linens, chairs etc.) She was always available & eager to help to ensure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible. She has put so much love into this property & we received so many compliments about the location. The breakfast she made for us the morning after our reception was plentiful & delicious. She truly is all about the guests & you can tell she loves what she does. Heavitree Bed & Breakfast is truly one of a kind with so much charm. It is beautiful, unique & the views cannot be beat. If you are looking for a unique wedding venue or a romantic weekend away with your spouse, this is it! I cannot recommend Heavitree enough; Charlotte, thank you so very much for all that you did for us. We cannot wait to come back & visit!

We fell in love with this venue on a dreary January day. Unfortunately it was pouring on our wedding day as well, but the venue more than made up for the weather. Our guests and photographer were all impressed with the beauty of the grounds and the charm of the Carriage House and B&B. Charlotte was very helpful every step of the way in making our special day unforgettable.

When we first walked into to Heavitree, and met Charlotte, it was pretty much an instant yes for us. It's a beautiful and charming location that was perfect for our 10/16 wedding. Surrounded by fall colors our guests were absolutely enchanted by the scenery. Charlotte is a wonderful host and will work alongside your vendors to help pull your wedding day together. It's a perfect location for small and intimate weddings.

When Western and I walked into Heavitree B&B, we were greeted by the sight of an 18th century great room, the fire warm in the hearth, the lighting dim but bright enough to see the guests were enjoying themselves. One of the guests, an Englishman and his partner, dressed in authentic 18th century garb, congratulated us on our engagement. For Western, I think it was this moment where he decided he wanted to have the wedding there. And while it was truly an incandescent moment, for me it was the proprietor. Charlotte is kind and courteous, hardworking and giving, thoughtful and inviting woman. She wants her home to be your home. She wants to give you delicious and filling breakfasts and warm fires. Most importantly, all she gives in the everyday absolutely transfers to your wedding. Her and Antonio were so wonderful, I know for a fact our wedding was as it was because of their love for Heavitree and for giving people the best special day they can. Charlotte and Antonio, we thank you for making our day so wonderful. It was more than a pleasure being in your care for our wedding and for a few days of our honeymoon as well!

Had a 57 person fall wedding in October 2021 and it was everything I could have dreamed and more. Such a beautiful location, the view is incredible and the inn and carriage house make for a perfect backdrop. Rehearsal dinner and Sunday breakfast were included in our package and was delicious and made everything so much less stressful. Charlotte went above and beyond for us. We didn’t have to worry about renting any cutlery/plates/linens etc which made things a lot easier. You can tell Charlotte really cares and wants to make everything perfect for you. I could not have imagined a better place to have our wedding.

We chose Heavitree B&B for our wedding venue and oh my goodness was it the perfect decision. Charlotte and Antonio worked with us every step of the way to help create our dream wedding! We hardly had to decorate the main house at all since it is already so beautiful. The team is incredibly easy to work with and will go above and beyond to make your dream come true! Most items that we needed such as tables, place settings, chairs, champagne glasses/cups, etc were even included. It was as stress free as I could ever imagine planning an event could be simply because of the attentiveness of the hosts at the B&B. We stayed over the night of the wedding; the beds are super comfy and the breakfast provided the morning after was so yummy. I can not say enough wonderful things about Charlotte and her team, so if you're looking for a place to have your wedding or just a place to stay, check out Heavitree!

This cozy little New England Inn is the perfect place for a small ceremony! It was perfect for our 30 guests! It has options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. We were inside because it was raining and winter, there is a room for the bride to get dressed. This place is truly incredible and Charlotte is the nicest person to work with ever! I cannot recommend this place enough if you want a small cozy wedding with a classic historic New England feel.
