With more than 20 years behind the bar, Carissa brings experience, energy, and a genuine love of hospitality to every event. She spent seven years as a Lead Bartender and Manager, overseeing everything from scheduling and inventory to staff training and the fast-paced demands of a busy bar. Her experience ranges from mastering a 100-cocktail martini menu to bartending major events like Gasparilla, the College World Series, and New Year’s Eve celebrations. She knows how to keep things running smoothly whether she’s serving an intimate gathering or a packed event with hundreds of guests. Carissa has always believed that great bartending is about more than making a good drink. It’s about creating an experience, connecting with guests, and making sure everyone feels taken care of. Her focus on service and building relationships has helped her achieve significant sales growth throughout her career, including a 114% increase in sales per shift over a three-month period. A USBG Bar Professional and certified mixologist, Carissa founded Heftology to bring her two decades of bartending and hospitality experience directly to weddings and special events. She loves being part of the moments people celebrate, and she’s happiest when the drinks are flowing, the guests are smiling, and the couple can relax and enjoy their day.

Michelle brings more than six years of experience running the primary bar at a busy waterfront restaurant, where she mastered the art of keeping service smooth, drinks consistent, and guests happy even during the busiest nights. Working with a demanding cocktail menu, fresh ingredients, blenders, specialty equipment, and a constant flow of guests, Michelle developed a reputation for staying calm under pressure while still delivering thoughtful, well-crafted drinks and genuine hospitality. She became the kind of bartender regulars returned to see, building relationships that kept guests coming back time and again. That same precision, creativity, and easygoing confidence are at the heart of every Heftology event.
