Heidi Knight is a fine art portrait artist based in Wimberley, Texas, serving clients throughout Austin, San Antonio, the Texas Hill Country, and beyond. Heidi does not provide wedding-day photography. Instead, she creates commissioned portrait artwork for couples who want something more personal and permanent than traditional wedding photographs alone. A commission may include a formal bridal portrait, a portrait of the couple in their wedding attire, an anniversary portrait, or artwork created to mark the beginning of their life together. Each Heidi Knight Original begins with a carefully planned portrait session. The selected image is then developed through a combination of photography, digital painting, archival printing, and hand-applied artistic finishing. The finished piece is not simply a photograph and not a traditional painting. It is a one-of-a-kind original created to be displayed in the home and passed down through the family. The experience is personal, guided, and centered on the finished artwork from the beginning. Heidi helps with planning, wardrobe, composition, location, and selecting the appropriate size and presentation for the final portrait. Custom albums may also be added as a secondary product after the primary artwork has been selected. These albums preserve additional images from the portrait session while allowing the commissioned wall portrait to remain the centerpiece of the collection.
