e our guests an incredible experience as well. We had the weekender package, so my (now) husband and I stayed there Friday-Sunday along with our wedding parties and immediate families. We cannot recommend it enough. Scott and his team were incredibly helpful and responsive during our set-up day on Friday and were quick to think of solutions for anything that we needed. We then had the best time in the Barn Friday night for our Rehearsal Dinner, such a cozy space that our guests were blown away by. On Saturday, we had our ceremony by the Derry House, cocktail hour by the pool, and reception in the clear-top tent just below the pool area. It was all fabulous and our guests are still raving about what a fun time they had and how amazing our venue was. We are immensely grateful to Scott and his team for helping to make our dream wedding a reality!!

The estate makes it so easy to already have a stunning and elegant wedding, but also freedom to make the day unique to the couple. Heigh Torr offers so many options for your ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner. We took full advantage of that! Rehearsal dinner in the barn, ceremony in front of Derry House facing breathtaking mountains, cocktail around the pool, and reception in the tent. Our whole bridal party was able to stay at the venue and have a full weekend of celebration rather than just one day. Kelsey was incredible and hands on the whole time if we needed anything at all. nder the tent, and utilized the pool for a send-off jump! I could not have asked for a more beautiful, intimate, and special place. We extended our weekend to host our wedding party in the days leading up and had so much fun chilling by the pool and cozying up for meals together. Our party and guests raved about the estate and how perfect it was. Scott, Katherine, & team were amazing from the beginning and jumped in when we had one issue with a vendor with understanding about the stress it weighed on us. I loved their story and will always be grateful we had the opportunity to be a part of it.

main house and some family stayed in the cottage, which everyone LOVED. Seriously could not recommend it enough! Scott & Katherine were so helpful throughout the entire process and had things all ready for us when we arrived for check-in. We ended up using the barn for the rehearsal dinner, as well as cocktail hour/reception due to the weather-- but it was beautiful with the strung lights and the candles we had for the tables. We managed to have our ceremony in the front yard of the Derby House, during a break in the rain, and it made for the best photos & aesthetics. It was so dreamy and our guests loved all of it, even with the hurricane weather! Very grateful to the Heigh Torr team for helping us make our wedding weekend so special!!

The property itself is beautiful and offers various locations to host wedding events that allows couples to customize the weekend to match their own unique vision. With several wineries nearby, Harper's Ferry, and all that Loudoun County has to offer, the venue is perfectly nestled in an scenic location. Before the wedding, we enjoyed a delightful rehearsal dinner in the historic Carford room. Immersed in the estate's history, the room offered a warm and pleasant setting that everyone loved.
Post-ceremony, we hosted a happy hour by the long, glassy Olympic pool, which thrilled our guests and set the tone for the outstanding reception. The reception tent, with its clear roof, allowed everyone to enjoy a magnificent view of the sky.
The day before the wedding, we held a meet-and-greet in the estates barn. The barn's casual and relaxed countryside atmosphere made everyone feel comfortable and provided a friendly environment.
Many of our guests and the bridal party stayed in the mansion and the Owl’s Nest. Their proximity made wedding preparations and photography a breeze. Heigh Torr's service was excellent, and Kathleen was incredibly helpful, ensuring everything was perfect.

One of the best parts of the experience was having so many of our wedding party together for the weekend. The bridal party took advantage of the pool and hot tub, and the barn was the perfect setting for the rehearsal dinner.

We grilled some food while everyone else enjoyed hanging out in the pool! We hosted an intimate dinner the next night right by the pool, which made it feel magical! We also got amazing photos since the property has a beautiful view at sunset! We are so grateful to Scott and everyone else at Heigh Torr for making our days there so special and memorable!
