I grew up watching my parents’ wedding on an old VHS tape. It wasn’t cinematic. It wasn’t edited to music. It was simple and complete — the ceremony, the long speeches, the way everyone looked and sounded in that exact moment in 1987. I saw loved ones so young. Some who are no longer here. I saw my parents before they were “Mom and Dad.” That tape showed me something important:
Time changes everything.
A wedding film doesn’t just capture a day — it preserves people. Twelve years after our own wedding, my wife and I realized the same thing. We don’t often watch the highlight ,we watch the full day. We listen to the vows in their entirety, we hear the speeches exactly as they were spoken, we see and hear loved ones who are no longer with us.
That’s when we understood what truly matters.
