If you are getting married you HAVE to book with the Heirloom. This wedding reception was the BEST place we could have ever picked for our wedding. Katie is AMAZING and keeps this entire process completely stress free!! Thank you all for making our day a dream come true!!
I can’t say enough good things about The Heirloom and Katie. The entire staff was amazing to work with. Katie was phenomenal about making our vision come true. She was so helpful with walking us through every detail. The venue looked beautiful for my daughter’s wedding. We had so many comments on the event.
The Heirloom was such a blessing on our special day (and the process leading up to it)!! Katie and her team kept the planning process moving along and helped the day-of run smoothly! The venue is beautiful and we were really happy with the space! We were specifically looking for a place that is wheelchair accessible, so we enjoyed that the Heirloom was on one floor! We had about 250 people there and felt like that was a good amount for the space, although we know they could have accommodated more and it still would’ve been great!
My wife and I just held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Heirloom this past weekend. We are truly at a loss for words at how unbelievable of a job the entire staff did to make it the best day we could have imagined.
The venue itself is gorgeous, as it was previously a factory converted to a wedding venue. The flooring is from the original factory, and many authentic pictures of the old time factory are displayed throughout the venue; they even still have a working service elevator and loading dock! This gives the venue an industrial, charming feeling with plenty of modern renovations that will take your breath away.
The food for our wedding was by far the best food we have ever had at any reception. They allowed us to have a personal tasting with their head chef and bartender, making every option we picked for our big day exactly how we wanted. We had not just a few, but most of our guests complimented that it was one of the better meals they have ever had (not just at a wedding— but ever!). Kudos to the chef, Emily, for a wonderful meal. She personally ensured that our gluten free guests were taken care of, which made us feel at ease. Berlin, the bar manager, and her staff made excellent drinks that our guests complimented the entire night. The food and drinks play a major factor into a successful wedding reception, and Crystal Catering (The Heirloom’s catering service) is second to none.
The staff was also incredibly accommodating with every question or request we had. We worked directly with Katie, and she truly did everything in her power to make us and our guests feel like royalty. The entire staff takes your choice in their venue personally, and wants to surpass any expectation you may have. They make you feel comfortable, welcome, and above all, loved. We could not be happier to have worked with such professional, wonderful people.
Overall, this venue will forever be in my wife and I’s hearts. We could not have been happier with our experience. Please do your future selves a favor and plan your wedding at this wonderful venue!
From the very start, Miranda and her team at the Heirloom at NK Hurst in Indianapolis was amazing. Her communication and details with everything made planning our wedding so easy. Two of the most compliments we received were how gorgeous the venue is and how amazing the food was. We chose food stations (flatbreads, sliders, and soup/salad) everyone loved the variety that we had, not to mention the appetizers. I miscounted how many candles, I would need, ordered them through Amazon and of course they were delayed until after the wedding. I was going to just deal with it and they would not allow that to happen. During our ceremony at our church, they went and purchased the floating candles for me. Not many places would do that! Parking on site was huge for us and guest were allowed to leave their vehicles overnight if needed. Getting ready suite, venue itself, everything gorgeous! 10/10 recommend and would do it there all over again!
We just had our wedding at the Heirloom and WOW! I knew this space was amazing, but to see it transformed was breathtaking. Miranda was so accommodating and easy to work with through the entire planning process. This entire team truly exceeded our expectations!! The food was amazing and our added slider bar was a huge hit! We had so many compliments on the space from our guest!
We looked at multiple venues downtown and I am beyond happy that we went with The Heirloom!
