And when we had our consultation the week before our wedding, I felt like I had known her my entire life. Such a people-person! She's so personable and bubbly, I bet you'll feel like you're best friends the moment you talk to her too. The day of our wedding: she arrived early and immediately got to work. She was super organized, had a list of shots we needed to get and remembered all of the details we had discussed earlier. You can tell she has a background in wedding planning and day-of coordinating, as she had to help us figure out a few things on the spot that were definitely not photography-related. Even so, she constantly went above and beyond for us. I'll be honest... initially we went with Ashley because her pictures looked nice and the price was right. She has the most reasonable pricing for someone with her level of experience. My husband and I are some of the most awkward picture-takers on the planet, and our photos came out absolutely beautifully. We had never met Ashley before our wedding day (we had opted out of doing engagement photos) but you would never be able to tell if you looked at our pictures. We felt so comfortable with her and she guided us through poses to make sure that we looked great, but more importantly we looked like our true selves. As a part of the wedding party you're bound to miss something happening in the chaos of the moment. She captured moments that I wasn't able to see as the bride, which are precious to me. I suggest following her on Instagram, as she does post updates on there often, including updates on when your photos will be ready. I don't know if this is typical, but she delivered our full gallery to us a month early!! I swear to you she is exactly who you want when all hell breaks lose the day of your wedding, calmly guiding you through it all. She truly cares and will do her best to make sure your big day is special and beautiful.

We still had a small ceremony on our original day and Ashely captured every moment, I still tear up every time I look at our wedding photos. Looking forward to next year and working with Ashley again!

She did a great job guiding our day, collaborating with our videographer and DJ, and helping us stay calm, collected, and happy throughout the evening. Ashley also knows how to talk to people in a direct but respectful way. She wants your happiness first and foremost and will do whatever is necessary to make sure that you get it. On our day, she guided several people in a respectful manner which made for better pictures while putting them kindly in their place. My husband and I both deeply appreciate this about her. She’s Type A in the best way and wants you to feel satisfied at the end of the day. SO many of our family and friends commented on how fantastic she was as well as professional. She knows what’s she’s doing and cares about her work. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her and the work that she does. She was able to be assertive while directing everyone to where they needed to be, which was awesome because I imagine getting people together for photos is much like herding cats. She was respectful and understanding when I spoke with her about certain immediate family member's who are not keen on having their picture taken. Also, let me just say, it takes real skill to get a decent picture of my dog in general, let alone when he's over-stimulated by being in a new place, surrounded by a ton of people. However, I wanted a picture of my dog in his bowtie, and with me in my dress. Ashley made. it. happen. It's one of my favorite pictures from that day! Before seeing the photo, I was convinced that the picture didn't come out looking decent because he was so uncooperative. I was blown away at how great it came out lol Ashley was so great with the wedding party as well! My wedding was in March, so the cold was a little much for some of my southern friends who have never even seen snow lol. Ashley was quick, and did her best to accommodate everyone, and to keep them warm while taking photos outside. Ashley was able to roll with the tiny hiccups, like one of my bridesmaids dresses being MIA, and 2 of my bridesmaids being late to venue pictures. We got all of the pictures we wanted and then some with Ashley. She was fun and easy to work with. Our pictures turned out awesome. We can't wait to decorate our first home with them!
