we lost of venue 5 months before the wedding but we got it changed at they arrived as needed. We also love that they will remake the top tier of our wedding cake on our one years anniversary so we didn't have to juggle it for a year and hope it unfreezes well.

Marguerite, my husband and I probably wouldn’t have had anything to eat! The only reason they’re getting 4 stars is because there were some communication gaps prior to the wedding. It was unprofessional, in my opinion, and caused concern as the big day approached. However, everything went off without a hitch, like I said, and the staff and food was great!!!

He never answered my husbands question about what time everything was going to be delivered so I gave them a call and a worker answered and then told me Dan already spoke to someone about this matter so he would not speak to me and I was given Marguerite number. As she ended up being helpful, everything still didn't go as it was supposed to. When they got there to set up my bartender asked the set up crew where the cake was, they proceeded to say that it was going to be delivered later after giving her a look of confusion. My cake was delivered at 345 (15 minutes after my reception had started) there was no groomsmen cake. My dad gave them a call and they had no idea where the cake was, after not receiving a call back my brother and I called asking about the groomsmen cake. They said it was delivered to a different venue. At 630pm the groomsmen cake was delivered and was a very detailed cake and look good but you could bluntly tell that it had been touched and messed with. The delivery lady told me and my mom that she just picked it up and brought it here. Being that the cake had been messed with I denied the cake, my husband walked up and she proceed to tell him that they had just remade it (which was impossible being how detailed the cake was). After that I go and cut my wedding cake during my reception and it's the wrong flavor and wrong decorations. After all said and done my dad called the bakery and never got a call back from Marguerite. He ended up emailing her a week later and finally got a response and she never once apologized for the mistake and kept defending the situation. The food was decent but the biggest part of a caterer is the wedding cake and I've never had such a bad experience before. Not only was my cake delivered late, we didn't even receive the correct cake.

Let me just tell you, it was very hard to decide on any cake flavor because they were all so very good. After meeting with her and seeing the menu, and then tasting the food, we decided pretty fast we wanted Heitzman to cater as well. Their food tasted very good for the price. It was hard finding a caterer for under $20 a person (and we had about 160 people RSVP yes)! Everything went perfectly. The staff was at the venue and made sure everyone was served. They were friendly and polite and stayed until the very end and helped clean up. It was the best service I could have asked for. They went above and beyond my expectations. I met them at a wedding show, but now I plan on stopping in more often just for some of the food and treats that they offer. Highly recommend them to anyone who asks!
