ed a video on TikTok involving my priest, publicly agreeing that the music I chose for my wedding ceremony was “weird” and inappropriate for a church. The video went viral. What was even more upsetting was her continued behavior afterward. Instead of addressing any concerns privately or professionally, she doubled down in the comments, repeatedly stating that she felt uncomfortable and that the music was inappropriate. She also posted on Instagram expressing disbelief that people were siding with the bride and laughing at my reaction that I was upset. As a bride, it was incredibly hurtful and shocking to see a wedding vendor publicly mock and criticize a client’s personal wedding choices for social media engagement. Wedding music is deeply personal, and if a vendor has concerns, those should be discussed respectfully and privately before the event—not broadcast online afterward. I would strongly caution future couples: professionalism does not end when the wedding is over. Vendors should respect their clients and maintain discretion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. She only took down the video and apologized after I wrote a review.
