the coordinating and delivery to our reception hall, and the cake turned out beautifully. Not only was it delicious, but we were able to order a small couple’s cake for us and a sheet cake for our guests, and Helfer’s still delivered! in addition, pricing was very reasonable and at no point were we pressured to upgrade to a traditional wedding cake or fancier design. I highly recommend Helfer’s to anyone in the STL area!

decorated cake, Helfer's has you covered there too- their portfolio was large and impressive. The cakes I chose- yellow cake with raspberry filling, and a marble cake with cream cheese filling- were phenomenal, and our guests loved them too. To help save costs, Helfer's allowed me to bring my own decor to put on the cake rather than icing flowers.
I also used Helfer's for my Grooms' Cookies (rather than a Grooms cake), because Helfer's has the best custom-decorated sugar cookies in town, they were a huge hit at our rehearsal dinner.
My shower hosts even used Helfer's for Cardinals themed cake- jersey's with our last name and wedding date on them.
I will definitely be using them for future bakery needs and would recommend them to anyone looking for phenomenal taste and service!

ped, I think they used day-old cake, It just wasn't as moist and delicious as had been described. Their design book is also out dated. But, we took a risk because of all the positive feedback we had heard from friends and family (plus the rest of the pastries at Helfer's are delicious!). We got a small 3 tier cake with their famous buttercream icing, and 2 kitchen cakes for about $200. Our wedding cake was SO MUCH BETTER than our tasting; it was AMAZING! We had cherry blossoms on our cake for the decor, and it looked great; like 'Cake Boss' great! I think I'm going to give Helfer's a picture of it so they can update their design book :)
