enal. He isn't afraid to try new things in terms of the photography but the experience was the best part. He was very helpful with ideas on shots, locations, and even other vendors we needed for our wedding.
He definitely does his research with locations and couples before doing anything. He knew our wedding venue inside and out so he was super prepared for the big day. He even researched the hotel ahead of time so he could be there for every little piece of the day. He worked a very long day and got absolutely amazing photos. He very much captured the spirit of the day and created timeless photography that we will look at for years to come.
His personality is what brought everything all together. We had several family members who are 'camera shy' and he even got them to laugh so hard that our photos are priceless. he made everyone including me feel extremely comfortable and calm. The big day was very busy and had the potential to be very stressful but working with him just put me at ease. I was very confident he would get great shots all on his own and he really delivered. I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know who is getting married.

kage) and we literally fell in love him-I thought my fiance was going to run away with him! :) He made us feel so comfortable as I am not to comfortable taking pictures. He brought us all over St. Paul and local parks and the new train depot-he knew so many amazing spots. All of our friends and families commented on how great our pics were-they weren't all "posed", alot of them were us of laughing and doing "crazy" things, they were so good! So for the wedding I gave Benny (the owner) free reign with photos, and by the end of the night I had people asking me who the photographer was because he was so good and funny. He is engaging and artistic and can make a simple pose amazing. I would recommend him to anyone for any occasion-you WILL NOT regret it.
As for the cost-it was very reasonable. Benny worked with our budget and went above and beyond. The day of the wedding he was there at 10:00 to begin photos for hair/makeup and around 2:00 a second photographer came as well to work with him. Benny stayed until after 10:00 pm, well after the videographer had left. I told Benny at one point if he needed to go leave I understood, but he said he was having to much fun and getting great shots-and stayed. He was definitely one of our best choices for our wedding! :) Thank you Benny!!!

he is easy to work with. He was very receptive to our ideas for locations for engagement and wedding photos, while still keeping a lot of great locations in his back pocket. He may make you climb on things and question where you are going, but we got some amazing photos by trusting him. If you were uncomfortable with anything, he listened and would try something new. In return we received some great photos.
We thought his price was reasonable, especially for how long he spent with us on the wedding day. He also made it very easy for us since we were from out of town. He also talks baseball for the guys!

Benny provided exactly what we wanted and needed. His photography speaks so much to the energy and the philosophy of our wedding. He really took the time to understand us, and therefore could capture our authentic presence. It was also just a pleasure to have him there; he made the wedding party laugh and have fun during formal shots, and he helped me relax and feel comfortable during every step of the way. wedding, that means they can be either really intrusive or you can feel very comfortable with them. That was one of the main reasons we loved having Benny and Steve, it was like having friends around and it made the shots very genuine. We have talked about Helios so much and how we loved the pictures that when it came to deciding for my own wedding there was no question. Benny showed up to my house when the girls did to get their hair done at 7:30am and both Benny and Steve were still at my reception after my husband and I left! We loved having a CD with all of our pictures on it so we could show people without having to drag along a book, and even when I lost that CD they were willing to send another :) That is the kind of service you will recieve! They were over the top incredible in the hard mix of being... professional yet funny and creative, and capture incredible shots yet without being intrusive. We were so extremely pleased and we would recommend Helios to anyone! In fact we plan on using them in the future for family pictures!

led for help to get the doors unlocked, but roadside assistance would not get there for 30 minutes. Without hesitation, Benny grabbed a rock and broke through the window of the car! They retrieved the camera equipment in time before the wedding began. Benny did not make us aware that there was even an issue allowing us to focus on our day. Completely impressive!
As for the shots, Benny truly has an "artist's eye". He really got to know us and used this as a way to capture perfect moments just for us. Benny has a way of finding the right balance and creativity for each shot - whether it being a classic image or something unique to our special day! kes our photos simply one of a kind. The comments I have recieved from friends and family on our pictures have all started out with a "WOW, who took your pictures!!!!" If you want a worry free day and a perfect way to remember it you need to hire these guys. They were very flexible on meeting at our convenience, very prompt when replying to emails, they arrived before we did to our engagement photo shoot and to the salon the morning of the wedding. I was asked to provide a timeline and any out of the ordinary pictures I would like. every moment I wrote down was captured on camera and edited to perfection. These guys also scouted out nearby areas to find the perfect back drop for our unique photos, which was a suprise to all of us in the wedding party and the experience was priceless and full of laughter!
