We were looking for timeless, romantic with warmth and candid shots with photography and videography package; Hellen, Rafael, and Team are wonderful to work with! They are all we wished for our wedding day=) From the beginning, Hellen wanted to know us better of asking our love story, how we met, what we like, what are our fave foods, shows, music, etc. After they detail oriented a contract package and timeline which I love so everyone is on the same page. During our engagement shoot, Hellen & Rafael were calm, easy going and fun with amazing directions as they shoot our poses. They made us laugh and made us feel loved<3 This continued on during our wedding day; Hellen, Rafael, Goose, and Christine( I'm sorry If don't spelled your name right) were also professional and quick thinking with every shot! They made sure our family shot list is all checked and arrange each group to their positions correctly. I made my own wedding dress and they did a great job capturing little details and the whole look. Also made us feel like stars lol. There were minor issues with timing but they're personality overlook them=) Thank you sooo much!! for making our day happy!

Hellen and her photographers were an absolute pleasure to work with! I used her for a surprise proposal and she helped me plan all the little details and the photos exceeded all my expectations! Hellen was absolutely AMAZING! She has the sweetest energy and coolest disposition about herself. Which made her so comfortable to work with. My fiancé and I have NEVER taken professional pics together. So, needless to say we needed guidance. She gave us so much inspiration throughout the shoot. Walked us through how to create the chemistry we naturally share in real life. Her final product was just amazing! She took out vision and maximized to another level. She also shoots very soft and natural which I personally love. She shot our engagement photos and we can’t wait to work with her again on our wedding photos!

Y’all, look no further than Hellen Oliveira and her team. I could not have asked for a better photography team for our engagement pictures and our wedding day. Hellen and her crew went above and beyond for us to not only capture every special moment we were wanting, but to also make sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. I am clueless when it comes to posing for photos, but Hellen walked me through every step and made me feel at ease. She was always very responsive, and worked with us for anything we were needing, even our last minute requests. I’m so thankful we hired them to be a part of our day and capture all the special moments we will cherish for a lifetime.

From our very first introduction call with Hellen we knew she is exactly the type of photographer we want to hire for our special day! And so we went ahead and secured the date right away! Hellen is very organized and on top of everything, she provided us with a long list of great locations to choose from for our engagement pictures, a questionnaire to get to know us better, and helped her figuring out what we like/ dislike . She also creates her own photography timeline which’s extra work that not many photographers do! She’s reachable and very responsive anytime you need her. She cares about what the bride and groom want and are looking for, unlike other photographers that I've dealt with in the past who didn't bother to ask what we are expecting from them.! Hellen is truly incredible, despite being 9 months pregnant, she made it to our wedding and was able to capture lots of fun moments, she and Rafael (her husband who's a videographer) make the perfect team! Her assistant Natalia and Rayssa were also amazing, they went above and beyond to capture me and my husband as we were getting ready. Both of our engagement & wedding pictures turned out absolutely AMAZING!! We got countless compliments on them! I would definitely work with her again.

Let me preface this by saying book Hellen Oliveira Photography today! Originally, we did not know if we wanted a videographer or not.  We saw a friend's wedding video and immediately knew we needed one.  We got Hellen from a recommendation and her and her team instantly solidified our decision.  Hellen made the paperwork, timeline, and correspondence a breeze.  She was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. On our wedding she and her crew showed up, cameras rolling and ready!  Hellen came as well despite being pregnant.  It showed the commitment to her craft and the investment she takes in her client relationships. Our sneak peek and final video were more than we could have asked for.  It was great to watch and see parts of the wedding that we were hurried through or parts we didn't even get to see!Can't recommend it enough. The video was HD quality and is only going to get more enjoyable to watch over time. 100% recommend.

We had the pleasure of having Hellen as our photographer for both of our wedding and engagement photos, and wow is she amazing! Her husband Rafael was there for both as well and captured amazing footage for our wedding video. I can not explain how awesome these two are! They are so nice and easy to work with. I can be very shy and nervous when it comes to having my picture taken but they made me feel so comfortable the entire time. I am so glad they were able to capture these moments for us and I would recommend them to anyone! I can not thank them enough for helping make our big day so special!

One of the biggest challenges I faced on finding a photographer for our special day was the fact that I was doing a destination wedding. I had to plan my entire wedding from a different state! Lucky enough my lovely sister n law helped me find Hellen. She was recommended to her by another photographer! When I checked out Hellen’s Instagram and FB I loved the pictures I saw! We had a phone conversation and Hellen asked me about my wedding style to get a feel of what I was looking for! I felt like we had an instant connection on the phone! On our big day Hellen was great! She was prompt and on time! I felt like everything ran smoothly and she even got some good pictures of my not so cooperative 3 year old son! When I got the pictures back they were absolutely stunning! She captured everything I could hope. The reality is once your wedding day is over, all you have is pictures to help you remember your big day! I have had numerous compliments on my wedding photographer! If anybody is on the fence about who they should hire as their photographer, I would defiantly go with Hellen! She won’t let you down I promise!

Hellen is incredible! After COVID derailed multiple wedding plans, we decided to get married in the mountains of North Carolina. A friend highly recommended Hellen so we decided to reach out and see if she was available for our minimony. From the very first communication Hellen was extremely responsive and helpful, providing location recommendations and other suggestions. A week and a half before our wedding, we had a last minute venue change. Hellen was completely understanding and accommodating of the change. On the wedding day itself, Hellen and her husband Rafael were beyond amazing. They were such a calming, guiding, supportive presence and helped lead my husband and I as well as our immediate families through it all. She captured the raw emotion and magic of the day SO incredibly well. We feel so fortunate with how everything worked out and that Hellen and Rafael were a part of our intimate day. After our wedding, she posted sneak peeks the very next day and our teaser video 3 days later! Our family and friends who were not able to be there were amazed at how beautiful the pictures and video were! I would HIGHLY recommend booking Hellen for wedding, engagement session, or any event. We will treasure the moments she captured for the rest of our lives.

Hellen was really amazing from start to finish with our engagement photos. From suggesting locations, to being flexible with our change of plans (we initially wanted an adventure shoot and then changed to just a "normal" shoot), to very very helpful in guiding up on the day of in terms of how to position our bodies, faces, hands, etc and then ultimately producing fantastic photos! She was a pleasure to work with and we love the final product! I highly recommend!

Photography is an investment and Hellen is worth every penny and more. Her passion for photography shows in the amazing quality of her work. Both my husband and I aren't usually the most comfortable in front of a camera- not only did she make us feel at ease, she made it fun. She capture every moment beautifully. We honestly love every single one of our photos. In addition to being an incredible photographer, I think brides will appreciate her calm demeanor, professionalism, and timeliness- I received my photos back within 3 weeks of the wedding. Hellen was our photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos (for our wedding we were also lucky enough to have her husband, Rafael)! I could not recommend these two enough. I am typically awkward and have never had professional photos done like this before. I was so nervous at the beginning but that went out the window as soon as I met Hellen. Seriously, please, consider Hellen for all your media needs! I hired her for my June 2020 wedding and everything I have received from her has been magical. Every interaction was kind and positive, which is huge when communicating with vendors during MONTHS of planning (especially dealing with COVID-19 on top of everything). She offers a lot in each package which is hard to find. Her editing style is stunning. She has all the best equipment. Her site and communication is prompt, organized, and professional. We received our pictures and video back pretty quickly, which is sometimes a problem I heard about other photographers. Hellen listens to what you want and makes it happen! My favorite story of her is when we took our first look pictures at Mission San Juan Capistrano and staff was being very strict (probably because of COVID-19) and came over to tell us that we are 2 min over our hour and we need to leave (even though they made us late getting started because they almost didn’t let our whole party in, which was confirmed with the director beforehand). So we were bummed and slowly started making our way towards the exit, but Hellen would stop us and say, “Oooh, this is pretty. Let’s get a couple shots here“. Hahaha it made us laugh because we were technically leaving, but I love that she was strong and brave enough to get us our shots because they turned out beautiful! Thank you, Hellen! I feel like when I saw outstanding reviews, I would think it’s possible that this bride is getting a discount or something for a good review. I can promise you that this is not the case here.
