Hello Beautiful Films

I send brides to Nick and his team all the time and I know their work is amazing but as a planner I never really get the full experience. I just wrapped up a promo video session with Christian and he is AMAZING. We filmed at a venue I am at a lot and there are so many great spots, he took each team member to a different spot for a quick intro and went along with all my crazy ideas. He was super great to work with, flexible with all the requests of my team, and overall a rockstar. I can't wait to see the final product!

Hello Beautiful Films was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were lucky enough to have Chris as our cinematographer who brought to life our special moment. During the wedding I could see he was not just there to take video, but he was having a great time along with everyone else. Due to some unforeseen changes he gladly adjusted and was willing to do whatever he could to keep everything on schedule. Our short film and raw footage was joy to watch. The detail and love that is placed in their work are exceptional. Their pricing model was simple and clear which also made the whole process easy. I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting to capture their special moments.

Hello Beautiful Films was fantastic! It was such an easy process to book them, and Nick was flexible with meeting with us. We had two videographers on the day of our wedding. Both were very professional and excellent at their job. They worked really well with our photographer (they weren’t getting in each others way) which was super important to us. We got our wedding video back right around the 90 day mark. It was BEAUTIFUL. They captured the day perfectly and brought many of us to tears while watching the video. The aesthetic of the video fit perfect to what we were looking for. Overall, I would definitely recommend them for your upcoming wedding!

I would not recommend Hello Beautiful Films!!! After waiting 4 months, I received a phone call that put me into tears! I was told that the file my wedding was on is corrupted. I texted Nick on March 22, 2018(a month after my wedding) and he told me and I quote “Hi Manar! We are at a 60-90 day editing process time after the wedding day concludes for video currently” I texted again on May 21st and no reply. I texted again June 6 and received an automatic response saying “Automated Response: We are currently out of the country until June 18th and will respond to all text messages and emails when we return! Thank you for reaching out to Hello Beautiful Films!” Nick did refund our money but it’s horrible that he waited this long to let me know that the file was corrupted. I chose Hello Beautiful Films because of the 5 minute highlight video. I have no video and nothing to look back on but pictures. Its honestly horrible and I do not recommend!

I had a terrible experience with HBV: The short video is exactly as advertised- no more, no less, however, the 1-star review is because of the terrible way I was treated by Nick. 1. No communication/confirmation before the wedding- I had to give them the address of the reception venue the day of the wedding *after the ceremony* 2. They didn't meet any of the contractual dates for the short and long videos and told me it was the norm with excuses like bad email, 'my internet was out' and 'we always have brides messaging us at the 90 day mark' 3. The quality of the extended version was terrible- it only filmed from the waist up- even for the first dances and the sound was very poor. 4. Overall unprofessional, accusatory and defensive attitude. In so many words, he told me if I wanted more accountability and quality, I should have paid more, as this is what he was offering for the price. I have worked in customer service before (I get it!) so I was as respectful and professional as possible but he was dismissive, defensive and disrespectful. I truly had my dream wedding but it's been over a year later and I still can't talk about, let alone watch, my wedding video without getting upset. I would have rather not done a video than gone through this experience.

Nick and his team did the video for my wedding on 4/14/18. Videography was something that I originally did not think I wanted, but of course as my wedding got closer I knew it was something I would regret not having. Videography is very expensive and we just did not have much of a budget left. All of the videographers in our price range did not have the quality of video I was really looking for, and then I found Nick and Hello Beautiful Videography! I fell in love with his style of film and knew it was exactly what I wanted for our big day. My fiance and I were honestly so impressed with Nick and his crew. They were awesome. They worked so well with our photographer- in fact she even told me she wanted his contact information so she could work with him again in the future. He knew the exact shots he wanted, which was awesome since it was very windy on our wedding day. So, we were able to quickly get the shots done get back inside. I found Nick on Facebook, but I wanted to post a review on here because I know so many brides use the Knot. I know how hard it was for me to find a reasonably priced videographer on here! So, I want all the brides who are looking for a videographer in the DFW area but can't afford the crazy high prices, to know that a reasonably priced but great-quality videographer does exist!! :)

Thank you to Nick and his staff for an amazing wedding video!! I am so thankful that you were able to catch all of our special moments so I can go back and re-live that day!! (And be able to actually see what happened since I missed all of the special moments!!!) It was absolutely perfect!!!! You are awesome!!
