a huge and important part of the day.
When I reached out to Nick about the issue, he acknowledged it and told me he would send a flash drive with the remaining footage. However, he didn’t offer to re-edit the video, change the song, or make any effort to correct the final product so it actually reflected our full wedding day.
It has now been three months since that conversation, and despite multiple follow-ups, I still have not received the flash drive or any resolution.
Another frustrating point is that even though the package we paid for included 8 hours of coverage, Nick later told me that they don’t actually film during all of those hours. That was never made clear beforehand and would have definitely affected our expectations about what footage would be captured. Because of that, I’m not even sure if they actually have any reception footage at all.
Your wedding video is supposed to be a lasting memory of one of the most important days of your life, so it’s incredibly disappointing to have such a major part of the day missing and the issue still unresolved.

uld recommend booking two to get more angles and emotions during certain parts of your wedding day, it would be worth it. We received our highlight video and raw footage. The highlight video was amazing. It made us cry and a lot of our family. It captured our big moments perfectly and the editing was cinematic. I would have liked a little better audio in the raw footage with the first look and ceremony vows, but overall it was good. Highly recommend this company to capture your wedding on video!

d that our videography would be delivered within 90 days of our wedding. Our video was not delivered on time and when I inquired with the owner, I was given excuses like he had other weddings to film, and they needed to clean their office due to COVID. At the very least, he should have reached out to me to communicate the expected delays instead of waiting until I reached out to him once the delivery deadline had passed.
When the pandemic started, Nick was quick to hold me to my end of the contract stating that he would not refund my deposit. He also stated that if I had to cancel my postponed wedding a second time, I would be obligated to pay 75% of my remaining balance even though no work would have been done. It is unfair to hold couples to their end of the contract when the business is not willing to uphold their end. This is unacceptable.

xted Nick on March 22, 2018(a month after my wedding) and he told me and I quote “Hi Manar! We are at a 60-90 day editing process time after the wedding day concludes for video currently” I texted again on May 21st and no reply. I texted again June 6 and received an automatic response saying “Automated Response:
We are currently out of the country until June 18th and will respond to all text messages and emails when we return! Thank you for reaching out to Hello Beautiful Films!”
Nick did refund our money but it’s horrible that he waited this long to let me know that the file was corrupted. I chose Hello Beautiful Films because of the 5 minute highlight video. I have no video and nothing to look back on but pictures. Its honestly horrible and I do not recommend!
I had a terrible experience with HBV: The short video is exactly as advertised- no more, no less, however, the 1-star review is because of the terrible way I was treated by Nick.

1. No communication/confirmation before the wedding- I had to give them the address of the reception venue the day of the wedding *after the ceremony*
2. They didn't meet any of the contractual dates for the short and long videos and told me it was the norm with excuses like bad email, 'my internet was out' and 'we always have brides messaging us at the 90 day mark'
3. The quality of the extended version was terrible- it only filmed from the waist up- even for the first dances and the sound was very poor.
4. Overall unprofessional, accusatory and defensive attitude. In so many words, he told me if I wanted more accountability and quality, I should have paid more, as this is what he was offering for the price.
I have worked in customer service before (I get it!) so I was as respectful and professional as possible but he was dismissive, defensive and disrespectful.
I truly had my dream wedding but it's been over a year later and I still can't talk about, let alone watch, my wedding video without getting upset. I would have rather not done a video than gone through this experience.

something I would regret not having. Videography is very expensive and we just did not have much of a budget left. All of the videographers in our price range did not have the quality of video I was really looking for, and then I found Nick and Hello Beautiful Videography! I fell in love with his style of film and knew it was exactly what I wanted for our big day. My fiance and I were honestly so impressed with Nick and his crew. They were awesome. They worked so well with our photographer- in fact she even told me she wanted his contact information so she could work with him again in the future. He knew the exact shots he wanted, which was awesome since it was very windy on our wedding day. So, we were able to quickly get the shots done get back inside. I found Nick on Facebook, but I wanted to post a review on here because I know so many brides use the Knot. I know how hard it was for me to find a reasonably priced videographer on here! So, I want all the brides who are looking for a videographer in the DFW area but can't afford the crazy high prices, to know that a reasonably priced but great-quality videographer does exist!! :)
