Based in Katy, TX, Hemu's Sweet Sensation is an experienced and talented maker of beautiful custom wedding cakes. Owner Hemu is a self-taught, multi-award-winning cake artist. She began her journey in Scotland before moving to Texas in 2015.
Hemu started competing in cake competitions in 2016. Over the years, she has appeared on the Food Network and numerous local television programs. Her work has also featured in several leading publications, including Cake Masters, American Cake Decorating, Australian Cake Decorating, and Sugar Magazine.
Hemu's Sweet Sensation offers a fine selection of delicious sculpted and custom cakes, as well as three-dimensional human and animal figurines. Hemu has an incredible eye for detail, and she enjoys using her distinct style to turn sweet ideas into reality. Hemu loves seeing the looks on her clients' faces when they see their cake for the first time, and she would be thrilled to create something special for you.
