We had so many compliments from our guests about this venue. It was absolutely gorgeous. I wanted mountain tops with breathtaking views and I got it! The detail of the decorations inside and out was perfection. So many beautiful photo options. The owner, Brett, was very responsive. He quickly answered every question that was sent his way. The only thing I’d suggest is looking into transportation options. There wasn’t staff on hand at the rehearsal and being from flat Florida, quite a few of us got stuck in the gravel at the top of the mountain. Thankfully, our wedding planner was quick to jump in vehicles and help people get out. We also had Ubers cancel on our guests on the way back or would only meet them at the bottom of the mountain. Henderson Acres has a shuttle to the bottom, so guests were able to get down, but had to wait in the open lot at night for their ride. I’d recommend getting a transportation service. Overall, I’d choose this venue 1,000 times over. I can’t imagine a location/ venue more beautiful than Henderson Acres. We are so happy with our choice.

When my daughter said she wanted a mountaintop wedding in the Asheville area, I never imagined it could be as stunning as what Henderson Acres delivered. It truly exceeded every expectation - she got her dream. After an unfortunate issue with our original venue, Brett, the owner, took the time to personally walk me through everything Henderson Acres could offer to bring my daughter and future son-in-law’s vision to life. Even while working out of the country, he responded promptly to every text -sometimes just to help troubleshoot the smallest details such as, "What are the dimensions between those two poles?" Any request we had was handled quickly and thoughtfully. Never did we feel we were a bother. The fact that Henderson Acres is family-owned added such a special, personal touch to the entire experience. Henderson Acres' wedding day team, Brian, Daniel, and Chip, went above and beyond. They managed deliveries and helped with every detail -from décor and rentals to even finding insect repellent just in case an uninvited bee showed up. The flexibility was unmatched. Brett allowed us time to decorate early and tear down on our own timeline, which made the entire experience so much less stressful. Our officiant needed a podium? They overnighted one. We needed a microphone? It was there the next day. Wanted to add a bar? Done. Who needs rentals when anything and everything you need is right here on site. And the home itself - what a convenient bonus. Each room was beautifully decorated and allowed guests to have their space while also providing wedding/event areas for the bride and groom. A perfect event home! Knowing we had the option for family members to stay overnight made the entire celebration feel even more special, relaxed, and intimate. Every guest and vendor was in awe of the spectacular panoramic mountain views and the beauty of Henderson Acres. We were often asked, "Where did you find such a place?!" This wedding is a memory that will forever be imprinted on our hearts. If you are looking for a wedding venue with top-notch personal communication, breathtaking mountain views, and a charming overnight home option - Henderson Acres is it. Thank you, Brett. arched Google Maps, and even asked ChatGPT to find all the venues in the area with mountain views. What we found was the views at Henderson Acres were among the best, and compared to other venues, the price was better, location *significantly* more convenient, and Brett (the owner) the most helpful and hands-on. Compared to other venues, Henderson Acres is also a lot more flexible (e.g. BYOB), which allowed us to make our dream wedding a reality within our budget. Throughout the planning process, we continued to be SO grateful we picked Henderson Acres. We had multiple phone calls with Brett, sent him too many texts to count, and asked him what seems like a million questions -- all of which he responded to quickly, kindly, and helpfully. We used their furniture package for our day and highly recommend. It was super nice to show up in the morning with the tables, chairs, and linens already set up. Huge bonus - they recently installed a custom retractable ceiling with walls that goes over the reception deck in just a minute or so. If the weather is good, you can't even tell it's there. And even when the ceiling and walls are out, it still looks beautiful and you get mountain views. It was awesome that we didn't need to invest in a tent rental and had a super convenient, no-stress rain back-up option (that we also luckily didn't have to resort to - the weather was beautiful). On the day of the wedding, Brett and his team continued to be so helpful. A week later and our family members are still remarking at how awesome they were, and how they struck a really good balance of being around to help while also letting us have the space. Our guests were in awe of how beautiful and well-done the venue was inside and out. Brett and his wife have put an incredible amount of work and thought into the home, and it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. That the venue is so close to downtown Asheville made it a great weekend for people with varying interests. Our professional photos and videos aren't back yet but we just couldn't wait to rave about his place! We'll upload more when we get them.

Henderson Acres is truly beyond anything we could’ve hoped for with our wedding venue. First their actual outdoor space and house is so beautiful it is straight out of a magazine- ...

picture perfect. The decor and stone within the house is such an elevated look we were in awe of. They are constantly adding things to the space and not to add things you need to pay for but to offer plenty of things for you to enjoy to use during your day. For instance there was several items of decor we used from them that we decided day of to use and the flexibility of that is incredible. They have a reasonably priced furniture package that their venue staff helps set up on wedding day and they have a retractable tent in case of inclement weather. Next the staff is absolutely incredible. Seriously beyond kind, helpful, responsive, and authentically caring. Planning the wedding was a dream with them, and the staff the day of was beyond kind and helpful ensuring the day ran smoothly. An example, we had one guest who was in a wheelchair and had to have an uber come to the venue for pick up/drop off - the staff without being asked drove to the bottom of the driveway waited for the uber and personally escorted them to the top. That kind of hospitality was noticed by our guests who raved about their kindness. I could write about so many more amazing things this venue has to offer. We received countless (truly countless) compliments on this venue and the venue staff - from the beauty of the space to the kindness and authentic care everyone felt. Our photographer captured the day perfectly with such beauty and somehow you’re still amazed seeing the space in person. I think there is something special about a family owned business and this venue is a prime example of it! Without a doubt the best decision we made in our wedding planning was booking Henderson Acres after so much searching - couldn’t recommend more!!!!
