we were so drawn to it. The staff is extremely friendly but there is a significant lack of training. When you have a question or concern, it is very hard to find someone with an answer. Many requests or comments fall on deaf ears. The Henderson does not have the amount of staff or management that is needed to run a resort. Simply trying to book a room is tough as they do not have enough employees to answer the phone. It takes multiple phone calls to get through to a person who may or may not be able to help you. The food at their restaurant, bar and catering is fabulous. The chef does a great job. The problem with the restaurant, bar and catering service is the lack of staff. In most cases, it took over an hour and a half for us or our guests to get any food. Another huge problem we ran across was the lack of hot water throughout the resort. At the end of our wedding night, all my husband and I wanted was a hot shower and we were very disappointed when we went to our suite to find this was a problem. They had been aware of this problem for about a week and weren't offering any solutions. This is a newer resort and with that comes some growing pains, but the problems we encountered during our stay and event were far beyond that. This will be a great place to host a wedding in the future, we hope, but at this time still needs A LOT of work before they are ready to host a wedding or guests period.
