We would recommend Taylor to couples planning a Newport wedding from out of town who are looking for excellent local vendor relationships and day-of support!

uple, Taylor was an invaluable resource in helping us build our vendor team. We relied heavily on her local knowledge and recommendations. We were so happy with how everything came together and truly felt we had the best team around us.
On the wedding day itself, Taylor was a steady presence and helped keep everything moving behind the scenes so we could be fully present and enjoy the celebration. We are very grateful for all of her efforts in helping bring our beautiful wedding to life.
Taylor is amazing to work with! I love her calmness and vision.
As a Caterer it is so important to work with planners who let everyone shine! Thank You Taylor
We recently had the pleasure of working with Taylor and her team for our wedding weekend, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Our entire celebration felt like a drea...
m, thanks to their exceptional planning and execution. We went with her hybrid option for planning - Taylor came in about a month from the wedding to review/finalize our vendor contracts, create a logistics timeline, be present for the final walk-throughs, and then be the day-of coordinator.
Taylor was incredible throughout the entire weekend. Her calm, cool, and collected approach kept everything running smoothly, making our special day enjoyable and stress-free from any wedding logistics.
The logistics packet provided leading up to the wedding was a game-changer. Its easy-to-understand format alleviated much pre-wedding stress, consolidating all the essential information in one place.
We're beyond grateful for the attention to detail and the seamless execution of every aspect of our wedding. Without a doubt, it was a 5/5 experience! Thank you, Taylor!
We hired Taylor Henderson as our day of coordinator for our Newport wedding and were overall happy with her work. We interviewed many wedding planners and chose Taylor because of h...
er calm and friendly demeanor and her reasonable pricing. Also, she was the only planner we talked to that would be a full day of coordinator but also worked with us throughout the whole process to answer any questions and give us recommendations, without upgrading to a partial planning package. This was extremely helpful as we are not from Newport, so having someone to run ideas by and get vendor recommendations was amazing. She was also very quick to respond to emails and was very organized before the wedding. We also loved using Aisle Planner throughout the process as our primary wedding planner dashboard, spreadsheets, and checklists. For the day of coordinating, overall everything went smoothly, but there were a couple things that were missed, such as some personal flowers misplaced and some misunderstandings in the execution of the timeline. However, Taylor was great to work with throughout the wedding planning process, and we were really happy we worked with her!
Taylor was the best! She made our day go SO smoothly. Not a single hiccup. From the very beginning of the process Taylor was organized and professional. She provided the most beaut...
iful proposals and listened to our feedback. She gave us great advice and helped us find the most fantastic vendors. It all lead up to creating a day that can only be describe in one word, perfect. Her team made everything flow naturally and made our guests feel so comfortable. Our only wish is that we could do it all again!

rganized from a distance. Taylor really helped us get and stay on track in the weeks leading up to our wedding and really helped alleviate our stress. She and her assistant helped execute our wedding day perfectly, and did so with the absolute best energy and attitude! We could not be more thankful for all of Taylor’s hard work pulling off our dream intimate wedding.
Hiring Taylor was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We planned our wedding in 4 months, and decided to hire Taylor about halfway through, after most of our vendors...
were already booked. Since we were planning our wedding at a private residence, we knew there would be extra coordination involved in the weeks and days leading up to our wedding. Taylor specializes in these types of events, where every last detail needs to be brought in and assembled, so right away we knew we could trust her. We were able to truly relax knowing she was handling all vendor communications. She understood our vision, executed flawlessly and because of her our wedding day went without a hitch. Overall, Taylor was kind, professional, and very responsive. Her personality is so calm, cool, and collected, and it really helped put us at ease.

g) process. Taylor kept us on track for every detail leading up to the event and was able to execute our vision flawlessly from decor to scheduling on the wedding day. Equally important, she was able to pivot quickly and effectively to keep the party going after a surprise flash flood that forced us out of the reception tent. Thank you, Taylor!
If you need someone to help you pull off your big day, even if you don't think you need someone, do yourself a favor and hire Taylor & her team -- it will be worth EVERY PENNY. Th...
ough I knew we needed help, initially my fiancé wasn't sure, but agreed to retain her services. He became a believer when Taylor kept us abreast of changing guest capacities with our venue -- we would never had known without her, and she communicated with us before we started sending out invitations. She was always available for a consultation and provided us with ideas or vendor suggestions when we got stuck. She attended our walk-through and took excellent notes on what was discussed and what we needed. She continued to shine right through to our wedding day where her services & attention to detail were truly invaluable. She made small adjustments to our displays & helped set up our tables to our exact requests. She also worked with our venue & us to make sure our ceremony & reception went off without a hitch -- we were too anxious, & her steady hand kept us in check. Simply put, we could not have our special day without her, and I don't want to think about how it would have gone otherwise. Hire her -- you will not be disappointed!!!
When we found our dream venue, we were worried because there was no on-site coordinator and we were required to bring one in. Lucky for us, they recommended Taylor and Black Bow Ev...
ents, and I knew from our first conversation that she would be the best person to work with for our wedding. Her laid back demeanor was like a breath of fresh air compared to others we spoke with. She was so easy to work with, perfectly captured our style and vibe, and made everything easy for us. Taylor knew exactly how much support to give me and when, and took so much stress out of the planning process for me. She was never overbearing and was incredibly easy to work with. And her vision and visual style was incredible! On the day of, she took care of everything leading up to the ceremony so all we had to do was show up. And when we did, the space was incredibly beautiful, the execution was flawless, and it was truly perfect. I can't thank Taylor and her team enough for making our wedding more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be. I can't imagine a more perfect day!
We hired Taylor very last minute after realizing we couldn't mange the day of without some outside help. Our wedding was in Newport in a beautiful garden at family friends estate. ...
Every aspect of the wedding was being brought in so having Taylor was crucial in orchestrating the day of. She jumped into the planning and had great suggestions on how to make everything run seamless from start to finish. She was super calm, organized and the perfect energy that you want to have around you on your big day. She listened to every detail and understood my vision and was able to execute it flawlessly. The communication before the wedding was 100% she really kept me calm and organized for the weeks leading up to the wedding. Taylor was a major asset and I couldn't imagine the day without her. Thank you again for helping to create the best day.

nt themes, she had some great ideas and kept everyone on track. She created a tight time table for wedding day and everything went off seamlessly. We all had a fantastic time! Taylor is incredibly organized and her calm demeanor carries over to everyone she works with.

wedding in New England and over the next year and halfish she helped source vendors, give feedback and suggestions and then helped pull everything together at the end! She was very easily accessible, always willing to chat and had great ideas. She is a perfect calming source for all the wedding planning stress.
Once the wedding weekend was upon us she took care of everything I could think of and the wedding day went extremely smoothly and she anticipated everything that we could have needed that day.
Taylor helped us plan our dream Maine destination wedding at Marianmade Farm, and she did an absolutely amazing job! Throughout the nine months that we worked with her, she was ex...
tremely responsive, and no request was too big or too small. In addition to assisting with decor suggestions and creating a beautiful escort card display, Taylor helped us find a rehearsal dinner venue, put together a perfect timeline for the day, set up and then took down all decor (including some of our garlands/flowers for the reception), managed all of our other vendors and just generally kept everything under control. She even went out of her way to return on Sunday to help with a morning-after brunch. Taylor has a great attitude and a calming presence that was critical to the success of our wedding weekend - we would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in New England!

ected no matter what the situation. Taylor has a keen design eye, which combined with her passion for organization will turn any idea you have into reality. Whether you need someone to execute your DIY day or full service planning, Black Bow Events is who you’re looking for!
First, THANK YOU TAYLOR! I had Taylor be the day-of executor of our wedding - and boy am I glad I did. I had no idea how "hands-off" I would end up wanting/needing to be at my DIY...
wedding - and where I left off, Taylor picked up. I had ZERO to worry about on my wedding day, and everything looked beautiful and just as I'd imagined. It's important to note that I was very detailed on what I wanted, and Taylor was able to take my vision/elements and put them into place perfectly the day-of, working with the venues. I can't recommend Taylor enough!

ate the beautiful wedding that she envisioned. On the day of, we were able to just enjoy ourselves. Taylor even did a wonderful job afterward, organizing the cleanup and making sure we could easily pick up what we needed to bring home. Well worth the investment!

he was organized, efficient, graceful and charming. She knew the area and the venue, worked well with the vendors, was a great help figuring out guest transportation from the various inns and hotels to the wedding venue, and organized all the timing for the whole wedding. The wedding was beautiful and so much fun. My husband and I were able to really enjoy such a special occasion knowing that we were in Taylor's good hands. Five stars!!

n one day in different locations...all in a six-month time-frame. Sorry, Taylor! Taylor was calm, organized and incredibly on top of everything throughout the process. She executed our day flawlessly and everything was perfectly organized down to the last detail. The buttons holding the train on my dress popped off during dancing, and Taylor was right there with pins making it look like nothing even happened. I would absolutely recommend Taylor and Black Bow Events - she has fantastic taste, is incredibly organized and is a wonderful person to work with.
Taylor did all the paper product designs for our wedding (save-the-dates, invites, ceremony card , menus etc) and we couldn’t have been happier. She is super easy to work with and...
very responsive. She has great vision and attention to detail, and took the rather vague ideas of what I wanted and turned them into absolute perfection! Of all the vendors we used for our Newport wedding, Black Bow Events was our favorite. If I had been smarter, I would have had her plan the whole wedding and saved myself the headache!
Taylor at Black Bow Events was both an impeccable day-of-coordinator and a stellar graphic designer. She designed and printed our amazing two-sided save the dates with matching env...
elopes, and we were SO thrilled with them! Taylor is responsive, professional, and is the ultimate in paying attention to detail. In terms of planning, we came to her already a bit behind in terms of timeframe, and she totally got us on schedule while reassuring us and remaining super calm and receptive throughout the process.
And on the actual day of the wedding, there is no one else we would have wanted in charge but Black Bow Events. Everyone always tells you before your wedding that something WILL go wrong and that you should go ahead and be prepared for that. With Taylor, this pre-event steeling of your nerves is absolutely unnecessary. Everything was literally perfect. She thought of things that I never would have and was incredibly quick on her feet. We had an island-wide power outage (brief and the band kept playing!) and there was Taylor, immediately ready with the glow sticks! Some people even thought the power outage had been on purpose, the timing was so perfect! We couldn't have hoped for a better coordinator-- Taylor's service was flawless and ensured that everyone (our families included) could simply relax and enjoy the elation. She made our big day!
We hired Taylor to be our Day Of Planner for our wedding in June 2016. She was extremely professional and had a very calm, low key demeanor that you want when planning a high-stres...
s event like a wedding. Our venue ended up being sold a month before our wedding and we had to re-contract with the new owners and couple vendors, but Taylor took care of everything so that we didn't have to think about it. On the day of our outdoor wedding there were a few sprinkles. She was able to work with the caterers to quickly move the food tables inside and work out other logistical hiccups. Overall Taylor was great! I was reluctant to hire an Event Planner at first (because I have a lot of experience putting on events for work) but our venue required we have one. I'm so thankful in the end that we had Taylor with us leading up to and on the day of the wedding. I think everything would have been 10X more stressful without her. She's great! You should hire her! :-)

didn't even know you had. She was able to turn my "navy, white and gold" idea into the most amazing event I could have imagined. She is easy to talk to, accessible and was always able to calm my nerves. I would highly recommend Taylor and her team for full service wedding planning, coordination and design. She far exceeded our expectations.
