The desserts Henny B Cakes provided us were so delicious and stunning! While talking with our guests after the reception, not one failed to mention how much they enjoyed each of the treats Henny prepared. We ordered enough desserts for each of our guests to have a few treats a piece, and its a good thing we did because we did not leave with much left over! The cake was beautiful with the colors and floral arrangement matching our theme perfectly. We are both typically not “cake” people which is why we ordered mostly cupcakes and cookies, but we were both pleasantly impressed and more than satisfied with how good our wedding cake was. We appreciate Henny making the trip to Waterville Valley on our late August Saturday to deliver the final touches to our big day. We highly recommend Henny B. Most delicious and gorgeous wedding cake!! I reached out to Henny 2 months before our wedding, as we made a last minute decision to get married in my hometown in Vermont. I also requested that she make a Chantilly cake (as my now husband is from New Orleans) AND to make it gluten free. Henny was gracious and helpful, and delivered the PERFECT cake for our wedding day. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, as all of her cakes are, but the flavor was unlike any cake we've had. It was absolutely scrumptious, and none of our guests could tell it was gluten free! I'm not one to really ever leave poor reviews, and nor did I expect to be writing this one. However, I simply couldn't shake how unprofessional and rude her customer service was. I reached out to Henny for my wedding cake, as her cakes looked gorgeous! She responded quickly saying she was available for my date and asked for more details. Then, after I provided more information about what I was looking for, and a couple back and forth emails between us, she went radio silent for weeks. I thought maybe she was really busy with orders, so, I reached out again to see what happened, and she responded saying she was "full of other inquiries for my date" and "best of luck". This was an email that was connected to all the other emails, so it's not like she just forgot. So, so rude.

Henny fit our wedding order into a busy wedding schedule and we are so thankful! We ordered a beautiful cutting cake and delicious assortment of cookies. Henny was also kind enough to work with another local bakery to fulfill a donut order so we on had to work through her. She is attentive, responsive, and as our wedding coordinator mentioned, one of those vendors you just know will go above and beyond.

So many compliments from guests on how delicious my cakes and cupcakes were. Guests thought the cupcake bouquets were real flowers! Beautiful job!

We hired Henny to make our cake for our September wedding. We had asked her to create a mountain scenery on the 3 tiered cake, something she had never done before but said that she could make it happen for us and we were thrilled with the results. Every expectation we had was exceeded. The cake was perfect, better than anything would could have imagined, and on top of that, tasted amazing! I booked with Henny during the 2020 Covid pandemic. We only communicated via email and we never met in person or called. I sent her what I needed as well as a photo of the look I was going for with the cake... And wow, it was gorgeous! The cake tasted amazing and my mom still talks about how good it was! Henny did a beautiful job with the cake for our NH wedding! She was wonderful to work with, and was very helpful and flexible when it came to coordinating picking up a tasting box since we live out of state. We ended up ordering a cake with frosting designed to look like birch bark, and it was just stunning. We had a tiered cake that was lemon with lemon curd between the layers, and a sheet cake that was chocolate with raspberry preserves between the layers -- the flavors were DELICIOUS! The lemon cake was a particular favorite! Thank you Henny!!

Henny's cakes were delicious! We ordered 4 or 5 cakes from her for our wedding in New Hampshire and they were beautiful! The cake was really delicious. It was wonderful to work with Henny, she listened to our requests and offered us an affordable option. I hope to order a cake from her again when we are back in NH or for our 1 year anniversary. We loved our wedding cake so much and similarly loved working with Henny. She is so lovely and was so easy to work with, and so understanding when we postponed our wedding date due to COVID. She made it super easy for us to switch to our new date and was always on top of emails and was so responsive and timely. We had a wonderful tasting with her and decided on a three tier semi naked cake with two lemon cake layers and one chocolate cake layer, with raspberry filling throughout and lemon curd between the lemon cake layers. It turned out AMAAAAZING — I couldn’t stop eating it during our cake cutting at our wedding! All of guests were talking about the cake. It was so moist and delicious and so fresh. And it was absolutely beautiful!!! It matched our vision perfectly. She also allowed us to rent her cake stand for our wedding, which made things so easy for us. Thank you everything, Henny!!

Henny was great! I initially found her on Instagram as a fantastic option for your northern NH wedding. She was easy to work with, the tasting cakes were BEAUTIFUL... and delicious.. and she was happy to work with us on matching a vision we saw on Instagram and bring it to life! We went with carrot cake - it was amazing!

My now husband and I chose Henny to bake not only our wedding cake (a 6in lemon cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and decorations) but also an entire dessert table of goodies for our summer wedding. Im so happy we chose Henny to create our wedding cake! It was the most beautiful and delicious cake I possibly ever tasted. We went with a simple two-tier birch cake for our New Hampshire mountain elopement. Henny baked a divine carrot cake with maple buttercream and decorated it with fresh flowers in the most romantic and tasteful manner.

Henny B Cakes makes the best cake I have ever had in my life! She invited us to try all kinds of different flavors in the comfort of her beautiful kitchen. All the flavors were so good it was difficult to pick just one. So we went with two flavors for our big day! Her decorating was exactly what I wanted, simple and timeless. She went into detail to be sure even the flowers would match. My family all has been begging me for the leftovers! Cannot wait to have our top for our anniversary, which she gave us instructions on how to freeze!

We received so many compliments on how good it tasted. The spiced apple cake with vanilla buttercream and salted caramel fit our October wedding perfectly. Henny cakes is AWESOME!!! Henny was so easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. She had a tight timeline with prior commitments on the day of our wedding and she still found a way to make it work and deliver an INCREDIBLE cake that everyone couldn’t stop talking about. The design of the cake was picture perfect and honestly we didn’t even want to cut it because it was so beautiful. But the cake tasted amazing as well. We are so thrilled that we went with Henny for our wedding cake! She was immediately responsive to inquiries when we were searching, and generously set up a tasting for us to decide. We asked to do it fairly early because we weren't as local (2+ hrs away), and she obliged and had a few mini cakes prepared for us. Best breakfast ever! Henny was very easy to work with. I provided her with a Pinterest photo of what I liked and she recreated it flawlessly. She also made the process easy by picking up the greenery needed herself, coordinating with my florist to make sure she had extra flowers for the day, and renting us a cake stand we could easily return. We also found that her prices were very competitive and more affordable than other bakers we evaluated. Most of all, cake should taste good, and we LOVED the chocolate with vanilla buttercream creation. I actually ate a second piece with my fingers because I couldn't be bothered to find a fork. You won't regret working with her!

Henny's cakes are amazing! She was very flexible when scheduling a tasting, which was great since we live 6 hours away, and we got to try a few flavors and frostings. She is very transparent about the different options available and does her best to get creative with you to achieve the outcomes you want while cutting down unnecessary costs . The cakes she created for us were so beautiful, so tasty, and super moist. We gave her some thoughts on our big tiered cake which she executed flawlessly, and then she pulled off lovely, creative ways to display our smaller cakes. Henny from Henny B Cakes is great! I recently got married on 5/11 and she made our gorgeous wedding cake! From the first initial conversation , to the cake tasting and to the final result of our beautiful cake, Henny was so easy to talk to and she truly saw the imagine of what we wanted. The cake was truly a special part of our wedding and she nailed everything about our wedding cake. Not only was it absolutely gorgeous it tasted so fresh and delicious!!!! Henny was absolutely amazing from our first conversation with her. She is so warm and welcoming and so great to work with! Henny made different cupcakes and mini cakes just for us for our tasting, and we got to bring home all the leftovers to eat with our family - everyone loved them! When we were deciding what we wanted for our wedding, she was happy to work with us to design the perfect dessert. We ended up getting a small wedding cake along with 120 cupcakes from Henny and she went above and beyond! Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted and she did a wonderful job adding the flowers from our florist! The cupcake display was also amazing - Henny's wooden crates went perfectly with our venue. In addition to the cake and cupcakes looking amazing, they were absolutely delicious - so many of our guests told us how incredible they were!! We would recommend Henny to anyone getting married in NH - she is incredible! We wish we lived closer so we could eat her desserts more frequently!

We are SO happy we chose Henny to make our wedding cake! She was so easy to work with right from the start. We met her at her home for a tasting where she prepared a beautiful selection of small cakes and cupcakes in different flavors, colors, and with a variety of decorations. They were all so lovely and the cakes were delicious! We were sold instantly. We were torn between flavors and styles, so she suggested instead of doing a very large cake we do a three tier cake as the main cake and then two small two tier cakes...we got the best of both worlds! All three cakes turned out BEAUTIFUL on the wedding day and we got so many compliments on how delicious they were. Henny is incredibly talented, her cakes are to die for, and we very highly recommend.

Henny completed our day for us with the most unique and perfectly designed cake ! We wanted a semi-naked (fall flavored) , but hand crafted cake ..and HENNY DID IT PERFECTLY!!! We chose the Pumpkin Spice Latte flavor (incredibly moist and delicious) with a light butter cream frosting, and three tiers of it were just beautiful! We received so many compliments and inquiries about her work, it was a great feeling that they all appreciated her delicious design as much as us.
