Henry’s gave me nothing but a beautiful and perfect experience. I fell in love with my dress the moment i put it on. The staff is very kind and helpful and i would recommend them 1...
000x over.
I also recommend their in house amazing seamstress, Lai. She is a sweet & wonderful lady who does amazing work!
I went to Henry’s looking for a very specific type gown and although I was able to secure one I lost a massive amount of weight and it was going to be astronomical in cost to have ...
it altered. Rather than see me absorb alterations more than the cost of the dress they allowed me to swap for a dress in my size! I will be forever grateful for their fantastic customer service!! It was very stressful and they eased all my anxiety😊
I traveled to Henry’s from Portland because they had the designer that I thought I would like. When I found my dress and it was one of the ones I had brought a picture of, I knew I...
had made the right choice to go to Henry’s. The staff was so pleasant and let me stay well beyond the typical 1-1.5 hour appointment. I loved that the shop was all open because it very encouraging when other brides and stylists were able to tell you how great you looked!
I had already gone to David's Bridal before Henry's, and was not happy with my experience there. I went to Henry's and it was completely different! All of the employees were incre...
dibly helpful, I didn't feel rushed at all and even employees not "helping" me as part of my appointment would comment on dresses I tried, asked me what one I picked, suggest others, etc. I found my dress at the end of that appointment!
Henry's has a staff that is ready and waiting to help you with whatever you need. They take down sizes and dress styles so that if you are unsure you won't have to go back and find...
it. I didn't end up finding my dress here, but I did find some awesome accessories. A headband and veil. They wer fabulous! We also rented tuxes. So easy to get, rent, and return without any problems.
Completely satisfied and happy that my husband and I went with Henry's for dresses and tuxes for our wedding party. The consultant I worked with to find my perfect dress was amazin...
g, brought gowns that had elements I was looking for, and never batted an eyelash when I kept changing my mind. Bridesmaid dresses were also very easy to pick out with the great selection. All of the groomsmen were from out of town and Henry's was great in taking measurements over the phone and when they guys picked up their stuff, were able to quickly switch out items that didn't fit perfectly. Our wedding looked amazing thanks to Henry's! Also, Lai is an amazing seamstress and had my dress fitting perfectly when I picked it up.
Getting tuxedos here was such an easy experience. Just pick out the style and colors you want and pick them up. They have everything on site (instead of ordering them, like most ...
places) so it made swapping out items that didn't fit, very simple. It seems like all groomsmen picked up on different days which was no problem for Henry's, and everything was very affordable.
I went in multiple times looking for a wedding dress and everyone i worked with was so friendly and truly listen to what i wanted and didn't try and push anything on me. We also re...
nt are tux's through them and the process was so easy!!
So disappointing. I felt like I was in a cattle call and the consultant did not listen to what I was looking for. She even suggested after I tried on a dress that was not particula...
rly flattering that I lose a few pounds so I could fit into it.
My experience with Henry's was nothing but positive all around. They were helpful, but never pushed or pressured a sale, they were always available to answer a question, whether in...
person or over the phone, and most importantly they have an excellent selection of gowns in various price points. At the time that I was shopping for my wedding gown, I was living in New York City (one of the fashion capitals of the world) and my friends and coworkers were stunned to hear that I bought my dress in Bangor, Maine. Yet I wouldn't have had it any other way! Enough selection to have the perfect dress for everyone and yet not so many that you couldn't possibly choose between such a vast array. I could't be more satisfied with my experience! Thank you, Henry's!
My husband decided to go with a local shop because all of our wedding party were from out of state.
The colors were exactly what we were looking for and all of the guys looked ...
amazing.
Thank you!
There are very limited options for wedding dress vendors in Downeast Maine, but Henry's has a great stock. When I went in, I knew exactly what I wanted. I was paired up with a cons...
ultant who then helped me pick out some dresses. Unfortunately, she kept bringing me the opposite of what I asked for. Eventually, I got frustrated and started finding dresses on my own. The consultant completely ditched me at this point. The manager came over when I found dresses that I liked and helped me try them on. Also, men aren't allowed in the showroom AT ALL. I had to go out into the lobby to get my dad's opinion on the dresses.
Had a great experience working with the Henry's... There were some glitches with my dress (the manufacturer, not the store) which might have sent another bride into a tizzy... Clea...
n store, great staff.. (Worked with Hope!)
I am so happy I picked Henry's I got an amazing dress at an amazing price and the people there where all so helpful!! They always had smiles on their faces and had all the answers ...

I bought my dress for my August wedding in November of 2012. It was my first and only stop. The boutique had a fairly large selection. My dress was actually selected by one of the ...
consultants and was exactly what I was looking for: unique, light/airy for a summer wedding, simple yet special. The dress arrived pretty close to the timeframes given when ordered.
Nice little shop. I ended up getting everything there. However I was not warned that the lighting will make the bridesmaids dresses look different then expected and that wasn't a f...

I'm a non-traditional bride and I wasn't looking for a sequined, extravagant, beaded nightmare of a dress. I wanted something that was simple and could envision being in a field i...
n and I also didn't want to spend more than $500. The ladies who worked there were so easy going and accommodating- they never pressured me into trying to buy something over my budget and they treated me as kindly as they did the girl next to me without a budget. I also took my dress to their seamstress, Lai who was as cute as a button and had new straps put on. The dress came out amazing! A great place!!!
I absolutely loved getting my dress here! It was beautiful and the help was excellent! I showed a couple pictures of dresses I liked and I was able to find the perfect dress the ve...
ry first time I went in there.
We got our tux's from Henry's. One of the groomsmen was getting out of his car at the church and his shoe simply fell apart. Of course we did not have time to go get a new one, and...
luckily he had an old pair of black shoes in the back of his car that he wore during the ceremony and reception. I was a little disappointed with the quality, but overall I was happy with the rentals. What I liked about Henry's is that the have all the tux's in house so if something did not fit, they did not have to order another size in.
They were amazing, which is the reason I went to them in the first place. My first experience was looking at bridesmaid dresses for my sister's wedding and after that I didn't want...
to look anywhere else. They even knew my name by the time my dress came in! A wonderful bunch of people. They only issue I had was with the seamstress. The ties to hold up my train broke even before the first dance, which made swing dancing interesting.
We used Henry's for EVERYTHING - Gown, Tuxes, bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dress, alterations... The staff is the best around and are incredibly helpful and courteous. They of...
fer gowns in every price range and will work with you to find the PERFECT dress for you. I would highly recommend going to Henry's if you are looking for a bridal gown - I'm sure that they will not disappoint you and you will walk out very happy.
Unlike David's Bridal, I felt like these folks remembered me each time I spoke with them. I did not find a dress there, but I did have my dress altered there which was a pleasure ...
really and my fiance and Dad got all of the tuxedos there. Very nice, weekend wedding and we were able to pick up early and return after the Columbus Day holiday for the same price.
The day I went in to try on dresses was a very busy day. There were about 15 brides/bridesmaids there, yet the girls working there made me feel like I was the only one there. The...
