This is a must for a florist! Our designer Dana was just incredible at all the meetings and during our wedding day. She stayed through the whole ceremony and fixed the aisle runner anytime it got messed up and then cleaned the flowers and brought them to our reception venue. She worked very hard at meeting our needs while still maintaining our price range. Each meeting she had new ideas and made sure the process was not stressful at all. She was so thoughtful and the flowers were beyond gorgeous the day of the wedding! Every little detail was beautiful and I was so thrilled when I saw the final product. They do amazing work!

I cannot put in to words how grateful I am that I booked Hepatica as my florist. I had the absolute pleasure of working with David. Not only did he take the time to meet with my mom and I several times, but he also called to follow-up twice in the last few days before the wedding to ensure everything was perfect. I told David what my vision was for the flowers and he took my vision and made the reality better than I ever could have expected! The flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS! When I first say the bouquets I was in awe. Then when I saw the ballroom at the reception, I couldn't even believe it. The tables were STUNNING! My wedding was June 30th and my mom and I continue to get compliments on the beautiful flowers. The best part is that working with David was such an enjoyable experience. Choosing Hepatica was one of the best wedding decisions I made. We got married on 11/04 at The Heinz History Center and Hepatica did the bouquets, the boutonnieres , the chuppah, and all the flowers for the reception. Jerry and his team did an UNBELIEVABLE job. The flowers were incredible and the room looked amazing. Jerry was a dream to work with - we loved his attitude and his creative eye. The fact that they mock up centerpieces before the day is HUGE. So many florists expect you to show up on the day surprised. We appreciated this gesture, as well as the interesting and unique collection of candles and vases. Our wedding was unforgettable - and Hepatica (+ Jerry) played a huge role in that. Thank you!

When my daughter and I walked into Hepatica searching for the perfect florist for her wedding flowers we immediately felt we found the place. Then David came out to talk to us and as April described what she envisioned David starting forming a bouquet we were thrilled. Her flowers for the wedding were so beautiful and creative and exactly what she wanted. David also went to the dinner venue and decorated the cake with the same flowers. Our guests raved about her bouquet and the cake with the real flowers was almost too good to eat. Thank you Hepatica for sharing your incredible talent and time with our family - your beautiful flowers made October 28 that much more memorable. We would recommend if you are looking for a floral shop for any occasion but especially a wedding- put Hepatica first on your list !

I mean, wow. Hepatica knocked it OUT OF THE PARK for our wedding. My husband and I got married at Phipps Conservatory and Hepatica did the bouquets, the boutonnieres , the chuppah, and all the flowers for the reception. everything was GORGEOUS. they did a great job prior to the wedding with communication, understanding exactly what the vision was, and they absolutely nailed the execution. the flowers were fresh, vibrant, beautiful and perfect. we loved working with them and think you will too!

Hepatica provided the bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding. They did an amazing job of capturing my vision and creating a unique and original bouquet. Prices were also very reasonable. When I told them I planned to do all the other flowers and center pieces DIY, they were excited and supportive. They did not tell me it would be too much work and try to talk me out of it. As a control freak, I really appreciated this. I would highly recommend them!

We are so glad we chose hepatica to be our wedding day florists. We collected antique bird cages and Dana our florist created the most beautiful center pieces I have ever seen. She filled them with all our favorite flowers/succulents and added unique ones we have never seen before. They offered delivery service and set up which made our day go smoothly and also made our tables look like perfection. We highly recommend Dana at hepatica and thank them so much for making our wedding that much more beautiful!

I found Hepatica through the recommended vendors list at Phipps. Jerry was extremely easy to work with and helped me to create centerpieces that were within our budget. The bouquets turned out absolutely gorgeous and I got so many compliments on the flowers! I highly recommend Hepatica for your wedding or event.

We used Hepatica for our Thanksgiving wedding and we couldn't be happier. They had no trouble accommodating us on a holiday, and Jerry made everything easy. He captured exactly the style I was looking for in the bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids' flowers, and he designed the perfect fall arrangements for the tables. Hepatica offers a great combination of professional expertise and customer service at a small shop where you can feel heard. They do beautiful, original work, and I kept to my budget! I can't recommend them enough.

We worked with Jerry at Hepatica and were beyond impressed with our flowers and centerpieces at our reception. When we first met with Jerry, he took extensive time to show us sample bouquets and truly learn about our style and desire for classy, simple flowers (on a budget). Jerry was respectful of our budget and I am continually amazed at the beautiful flowers we received from Hepatica. Multiple people commented on how beautiful the flowers were throughout the evening. David did the flowers for my wedding on 10/03/15, and they were unbelievable. People raved about them all night, and even the wedding team at the church was saying that they have never seen anything like them. I would recommend this florist to anyone.

We worked with David and he was fantastic. From bringing in picture ideas and having him fill in the blanks for ideas for the venue, he was lovely and made our reception space and personal flowers look beautiful. After visiting with a few different florists, their accessories for the tables stood out against the others and really gave the spaces an extra touch of refinement. I can't say enough about the beautiful flowers and how easy and flexible Hepatica was to work with. I recommend them for any special occasion!

Hepatica was great to work with throughout the process but ran out of an agreed upon flower when making our centerpieces so when we entered the reception hall on our wedding day we didn't even believe they were our flowers. What they inserted instead changed the whole color scheme - throwing off all the months of planning. The head table did have the correct arrangements but all other tables had a totally different color - it wasnt the soft wine piece of greenery we had chosen but bright orange-red maple leaves. We were incredibly dissapointed - if they did not have enough of what was agreed upon to complete our arrangements, nothing new should have been inserted, especially something outside our whole color scheme.

Dana and Jerry did a phenomenal job with the wedding flowers. Extremely responsive to our requests. Will chose them again for another event if needed. Our advise.....Please don't get married on a Sunday though......the setup fee of $500 (they warned us!) will break your budget.

The flowers were spectacular and Rachel was a joy to work with! I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful. She was mindful of every detail and I was absolutely delighted with the flowers and other table details! She even dressed up my cake and made the most beautiful little floral topper for my bride/groom cake topper. I definitely highly recommend Hepatica!

I only used a florist for my bouquets, but what I got was amazing. Hepatica was awesome to work with and charged very little to deliver my flowers to my venue. Hepatica gave me exactly what I asked for, and I would highly recommend them.

I had the pleasure of working with Rachel at Hepatica and I cannot begin to explain how wonderful she and everyone at Hepatica are to work with! From the very beginning, I could tell that she understood what I wanted. I chose not to disclose the price for my wedding because I think it varies depending on what you are looking for - I was looking for peonies and anemones in JULY. Rachel was the ONLY florist in Pittsburgh that didn't make me feel like I was crazy. I thought the price matched my taste and the look I wanted. Rachel and her team captured the overall theme of the wedding perfectly. Every detail was amazing! I was touched that she waited at the churcch to see me!

Hepatica did an AMAZING job with our wedding flowers. Everything was exactly what I wanted and had described to Rachel. We were initially worried about cost but Rachel worked with our budget to still get us exactly what we wanted for the right price. I would HIGHLY recommend Hepatica.

We hired Jerry and Rachel for our wedding which was a month ago and people are still talking about how beautiful everything was! My flowers and attendants flowers were gorgeous and just what we had talked about during our meetings. The reception flowers made everything complete! I couldn't have been happier. Jerry is great to work with and is very professional. He has many years of experience and you can trust that he will take care of everything the way you want it.

The flowers for our wedding were really important to me -- after reading all of the reviews of local vendors, I went to visit Hepatica. David understood exactly what I wanted, and spent time seeking out flowers that I mentioned in exactly the right shades. Guests almost fought over who could take the centerpieces home!

Working with Hepatica was a joy. Specifically we worked with Jerry, who was amazing. Having no real ideas for the look we were going for, we asked Jerry to make suggestions for our church and reception flowers. We only asked 1 thing, that the flowers would be white/ivory. His creativity was impressive. Overall, the church flowers, bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely magnificent. Jerry’s bridal bouquets were simple, and elegant, matching the dresses perfectly. No small detail was left undone, everything coordinated perfectly and he added personal touches that really tied everything together (for example incorporating beads that matched my dress, and the bridesmaids jewelry into our bouquets). The table décor was non-traditional, elegant, and enhanced the venue décor to create an absolutely stunning reception. Jerry was great to work with and his creativity, customer service skills, and professionalism were excellent. I highly recommend Hepatica florist to anyone looking for unique, beautiful wedding flowers.

Rachel is beyond amazing. She took a few ideas I mentioned and turned them into the most beautiful floral arrangements i have ever seen. There is never a concern or worry when you know Rachel is taking care of you - she's incredible!!!

Jerry worked with us to stay within our budget. Additionally he was SO creative and it looked as if we had spent thousands more than we did.
